What will be the biggest difference between Pro Evolution 4 and Winning Eleven 8 besides the name. Will there be any major differences

I happen to be going to Europe soon and wondered about buying PE4 there if it is going to differ than the NA version of the game

Sorry, i don't mean to hijack this thread but i didn't think this question was worthy of it's own thread: Does anybody know when WE 8 comes out for the PC?

When i read the press releases i believe it said the same date as the other platforms (Feb. 1). EB Games doesn't even show the game for the PC on their site. And i noticed that Amazon has a release date of Feb. 16 for the PC version? Anybody have reliable information about this?

Hey the more we know the better

for the past 2 years (pes2/pes3 + we6i/we7i) PES always had a more "floatier" ball physics than WEi.....that's about all I know

and a few changes like different boots and slighlty more updated rosters (right before the January transfer window)

When does WE8 supposed to be released here in North America

It should be in stores be Feb 2nd.

I'm a huge fan of PES4, so therefore, I hope WE8 is going to be similiar to PES4.

They have it as Feb 16th for the PC.

man i bought PES 4 for ps2 from a uk store and i get it and guess wat it doesn't work because i found out its a Pal and pal doesn't work with US PS2'S those dipshyts could of said something before buying it. now i have to send it back to them and get my refund back :rolleyes:

i don;t think there're any differences except the language (not WE international).

btw,when i installed PES3 ,i couldn't play it ( i mean i could,but it's lagging),i tried WE7i,no problem.both using GeForce 2.i don't know what's the matter,since both game's requirements are the same :rolleyes:

Ok so im totally confused now , i thought PES4 and WE8 were the exact same games apart from languages? , now ppls going on about how good it is that WE8 is coming to america in february , even tho u guys play pes4. So please fill me in , why is WE8 gonna be better than PES4 ??

...I'm talking about World Soccer Winning Eleven 8 International because I'm not sure if they will have Pro Evolution Soccer in the U.S....Does anybody know if its already available or if it's even coming out in the U.S.?

Id say buy it online but i wont do it that way

Pro Evolution (WE translated with tweaks) released in Europe in the Autumn

Winning Eleven International (Pro Evo with minor tweaks)released in the US late winter/early spring

Winning Eleven Final Edition/Liveware (WE with major tweaks)released in Japan Spring

People in the US that have played the non-'international' version are most likely modded PS2 owners.
