America USA (H)

thats right, club America will bring "America USA" to Houston in 2006. They arent going to announce it officially til in a couple of weeks, but the head of the "America USA" project unofficially announced this already.

He even said that 4 of Club America's current 1st team players would play for "America USA"... including Cuauhtémoc Blanco. (H)

I dont know about u guys... but Chivas USA and America USA are bringing more love into the Mexico-USA relationship... dont u think? (H)

America USA? Dear God :|

Oh well, I guess having Blanco in the league will make up for all that :mexican:

As long as they have a big fat check for us, sure why not. Kind of ironic - Americans depending on Mexicans for money.

America USA is a terrible name.

Can't they just call it Club America of Houston?

How ironic would it be to have an all-Mexican or mostly-Mexican team named America USA? It will be like a trap for overly patriotic Texas rednecks.

"Wait a minute... they's all brown and dark skinned! Thems not Americans, thems Mex-i-caaaaaans. Let's go watch high school gridiron."

America USA = Club America (Mexico)
Chivas USA = Chivas de Guadalajara (Mexico)
Real Salt Lake = Real Madrid C.F. (Spain)

I like, I like:D ...I might actually watch a game or two, I'll probably root for America USA and Real Salt Lake.:rockman:

Any word on what the kits will look like?

An early rendering of what Des Moines' kit will look like, when they join the league in 2006 with the Houston franchise, has been released.

real salt lake has nothing to do with real madrid, they just are 'honoring' them with the name, the mexican teams seem to be an offshoot of the actual teams
