I hope that someone form EASPORTS can explain why there is no referee and linesmen in the champions league game.
I bought the game for thirty quid yesterday.
At first, i saw no linesmen and thought so what, but then I saw no referee.
For free kicks and handing out red and yellow cards, an animation is played showing the ref, but not in the actual match engine.
For a game to be endorsing the champions league, one would expect to see at least the referee in the in game match engine.
These were present in FIFA FOOTBALL 2005.
They have taken a step back. Why would they leave them out?
When playing the game and hearing the commentator speaking of the ref's decisions, its strange to not see the ref in the match engine.
It is interesting to note that one of Pro Evo 4's key features was an on-screen referee for the first time, but EASPORTS seem to have left him out.
In a way I am not surprised, because they have done this before.
EASPORTS seem to include features in a football game, keep them there for a couple of years, then take them away for future versions and then make them into a big thing for their new games, like they are brand new features.
