I got it for the XBOX.

The cinematics, including replays etc look great. But, the in-game graphics are very grainy. I have HDTV so that’s not the problem. I don’t understand what could be wrong. From time to time though, the image seems to improve drastically (for a short time), but mostly it just makes my eyes hurt.

Anyone playing it on the XBOX noticed this problem?

Hmm... no one plays on XBOX? Just tell me if you guys notice the problem or not.
Maybe it's just me... I just got the game for the first time and have that question...

I play on the PS2 so I can't relate. I know the PS2 has worse problems, but I'm having to much fun to care.

Its like this for the PES4 PC, and i think its the pitch texture. IF you take a still of it, you can identify where the grain is, and it tends to mainly occur on the pitch area rather than the crowd, players etc.

Thanks for your response. You have described it perfectly. I wonder if the problem is unique to certain platforms?

By Platforms i take it you are meaning PC, Xbox, PS2 Right?

Well i've heard many people talking about this, my PC version is like that, as is your Xbox version. Maybe importing a better pitch texture would improve the problem, i haven't imported any new pitches so i wouldn't no.

I have noticed that one pitch is particularly bad however, and that is definately due to the pitch. It is constant stripes of green and light brown. You can hardly distinguish the lines from the pitch itself :| :(

You know, I'm going to need glasses after a few months of playing it. Who cares, I am willing to endure! I am just trying to get into the game. That problem is annoying though. :crazyboy:

You might be able to alter the contrast and brightness on your telly to make the grain less aparent, might save your eyes a bit :D

I think I read in another thread that if your camera is 'Wide', you'd have this problem. Try switching to Normal-Long and see what it does for you.
I just got my copy yesterday, so can't tell you if it works. I too have a problem like yours.

Actually NO. But I haven't read the manual yet. I need to take the manual everywhere I go and read it when ever possible I guess. There is a lot to learn in this game. Its not simple like FIFA... but that's a good thing...;)

You mean make the wall jump? For Xbox, press the X button. To make them stay on the ground press the A button.

As far as the pitch being grainy, I think the resolution of the pitch texture is such that when you view it far enough out (like wide camera angle) you get to where it starts getting grainy. It doesn't seem to scale very well.

I have it on xbox and for the pc , and on the xbox the graphics are very grainy.

I bought an "advanced" scart cable for my xbox and PES4 still looks grainy, on 2 different TVs.

PS2 and PC look perfect. I'm not sure what is up with the xbox. Some people say it looks the best, even using the default scart cable.
