View Full Version : Damn You Milan!!!
Dammit, after the first season milan have poached Xabi Alonso off me :f***: :f***: apparently he had a £20m release fee on his contract :kader: :kader:
Im now short of a WORLD CLASS DMC, i have Gerrard at MC and i dont want to move him there, however much i like Hamann and Biscan i want someone better, i have £52m to spend, can ANYONE suggest some of the best DM's in their opinions :p dont just postboost by saying.. Keane or Viera, i want to know WHY you think they are the best
thanks for the help

rpvankasteren 09-02-2005, 05:23:AM Ledley King (don't let the "strong center back" description fool you)
Just needs some work on passing and dribbling, but he's a great DMC. Plus his work rate and team work are really high, as are almost all his mental and physical stats. A couple of season of mid training, and he should be awesome.
And you can use him as a DC if you need to as well.
X-Ter 09-02-2005, 05:27:AM There are LOADS of DM's who are really good. I would suggest Julio Baptista and Assuncau definately, as I have bought them and they are fantastic. They've got good attributes as well. Keane sometimes doesn't have his contract protcted and his value isn't that much so he would be a bargain. I would definately go for those three as I've had them all and they play quite well.
yeah i was looking at ledley king, Ruud, how would i go about really improving the passing side of his game.. ive always been one to use pretty general overall training, how do i actually really improve that part?
TROD.
oh and ruud check your PM's

rpvankasteren 09-02-2005, 05:52:AM How about you check yours :crazyboy: I answered hours ago :p
*cough* Mascherano! *cough*
he's young and is a quality DMC - replace Keano for me at united
rpvankasteren 09-02-2005, 05:59:AM Oh... the training:
pig in the middle, overloading defensive and attacking, and technique influence passing the most.
k, would training him as a midfielder help at all
TROD.
rpvankasteren 09-02-2005, 06:21:AM Yeah, definitely. But he needs defensive training also, or his tackling/marking will drop. So Overload Def seems a good option to add to a general mid training schedule.
You know how I look at training, though, don't you? :crazyboy:
nein, enlighten me :p
TROD.
rpvankasteren 09-02-2005, 06:45:AM Set very well tested schedule at start of stint at club
Set players to schedules
Refine tactics (H)
PSVFOREVER 09-02-2005, 11:59:PM Van Bommel, although he is more attacking.
Have a look at Bodmer too. (I think he's from Lille) World class player.
Guillaume 10-02-2005, 12:48:AM Look at Benoît Pedretti (Marseille), he's a good DM
ok im gonna sign King, paying totally over the odds for him :p but i have to say ive fallen in love with his attributes, i love how physically strong he is, i.e. Viera.
TROD.
John_Arne_Riise 10-02-2005, 04:55:AM Why not steal Pirlo off them? :)
Rocky 10-02-2005, 09:14:AM try fernando meira i got him for only 2.8 million euros:) and you can use him as a centre-back too:D
Fernandez 10-02-2005, 11:42:AM Assuncao. His long shots go in most of the time.
Rocky 10-02-2005, 11:55:AM manuele blasi if 9million is good enough for you:p
rpvankasteren 10-02-2005, 03:04:PM I'm guessing Tom is signing King, and maybe Mascherano, Guarín, or Maresca. :)
I'd not go with Maresca, though. As old as King, and not up to his standards.
yeah me and Ruud were talking about this for a while :p
just to update, i finally bought King for the hefty sum of £23m, yet he does seem to look good, all of the other players seem to have crucial stats missing in the right places :(
TROD.
update, King after 10 games has an average rating of 7.90, damn good player
TROD.
PaPaGeorGeo 07-03-2005, 01:10:PM Pitty he plays for spurs:(
not anymore :D
20 games - average rating of 7.85 - conceding far less goals with him in the team
TROD.
SlowSilver 08-03-2005, 01:34:AM I might try him. Looks like he is doing well for you, TROD.
PSVFOREVER 08-03-2005, 01:47:AM Plays great for my HSV team as DC (Y) Definitely recommend him.
I got him on a free (H)
