View Full Version : transfer budget going crazy?
Okay, I just finished 1st in La lige with barca, and r. madrid came second.
Neither me or r. madrid won any other competitons or cups, NOW, I know that r.m. got a lot of money, but god damn. I got a transfer budget for £11,000,000 for the second season while r.m. got £116,000,000 ??!
Jesus Christ, where the hell do they get their money?
PSVFOREVER 10-02-2005, 03:45:AM Barcelona doesnt really have good finances in real life too. Real Madrid is rich though, after they sold their training place. Some say they still are in debt, but this is never proved.
Rocky 10-02-2005, 08:08:AM its crazy inter get alot too, while juve only gets 11million:kader:
PSVFOREVER 10-02-2005, 04:43:PM ''only'' 11 million.
MVV gets 50k €:kader:
castelen 10-02-2005, 08:17:PM maybe they sold some expensive players?
most clubs are in debt Cody, just like countries are :) its inevitible, if no-one was in debt there would be no reason for inflation :) which i do believe is still set at 2.5% in the UK
TROD.

No, didn't sell anyone, the acually purchased Maakay.
I just don't understand how they can have so much money, R.M. are in serious debt in real life, right?
Not even Chelsea get those numbers for transferbudget.
real madrid get funding from various dodgy places, right? :p
TROD.

Acctually in real life Real Madrid are not indebt they just got a new transfer budget for next season of like a 120 million Euros:o
Also In FM if your in 2nd or 1st they raise your transfer buget from 50 something million at the start to 120 million so that should ansrew your question. Basically Madrid are very rich bot in real life and in the game.:)
In my Chelsea game I had 150million and then was given 90million by the board, meaning I had 240mil.
And after only spending 2million of that, I then got another 70millon meaning I had about 308million to spend.
Rocky 11-02-2005, 01:05:PM im gonna play with chelsea:(
with juventus my bank Balance has dropped into the red zone. not serious but i hope i dont get into debt. Stupid FM for Making Juve start with a Balance of $18million :kader:
Juventino 11-02-2005, 04:20:PM LOL. How can you turn in red? After 1 season with Juve I already collected around 100 million euros. :crazyboy:
Stotty 11-02-2005, 08:29:PM At AC Milan i got 246 million when they offered me the job

£246,000,000 ?!
geez..
Vedran-10 12-02-2005, 01:31:AM When I started with Barca, I had around 12M euros to spend.
At the end of my 10th season, I had 202M tranfer budget, while the overall balance was 330M.
Barca don't have a lot of money but it's quite easy to get rich. The Nou Camp holds 98k seats so when you play Espanyol, Madrid or Valencia, you get a lot. And if you're lucky to draw someone strong in other competitions...you get very rich.
Madrid start of full of cash. They once spent 103M on Joaquin and 32M on Clichy in the same week in my game. Idiots went bankrupt.

this why i gots so much mooney
winning the champions league- 6.25million euros
champions league tv rights- 16million euros
serie A final league position-1.5million euros
Serie A tv rights-75million euros
Having a masterful squad and a second string team that could crush 3/4 of europe...Priceless:mrpimp:
I think the word shouldnt be "priceless" you should replace it with "Boring, totaly easy, completely unchallenging" (H)
PSVFOREVER 15-02-2005, 10:19:PM Agreed with alex
Rocky 16-02-2005, 03:03:AM its too easy now that i signed dede(free), bonera, maxwell, barzagli, cassano and a bunch of others. who wouldnt with a transfer budget of 70million(H)
PSVFOREVER 16-02-2005, 03:31:AM me
Rocky 16-02-2005, 11:26:AM why not?
Juventino 16-02-2005, 03:08:PM It is pretty boring and easy... :crazyboy:
In my CM03/04 game with Juve i had 500 million euros after 10 years + a super team. But I got more satisfaction when I got 20 million euros with Napoli and promotion to Serie A. :)
veron28 16-02-2005, 07:51:PM yeah, a challenge is the best thing about FM. I got bored with winning everything with man u, so i took over at 18th placed malaga, and got them into europe in just over half a season
PSVFOREVER 16-02-2005, 10:47:PM I like to leave my team as it is :( In my PSV game on 03/04 I had in 2022/2023 about 1.5 billion transfer budget. :( got extremely boring though
Rocky 17-02-2005, 03:56:AM well i didnt know how unrealistic fm was with the transfer budgets,i was never used to getting 70million, because i always played with small teams, but i wanted to try out a bigger team, and now my transfer budget is 245million euros. what am i gonna do with that crazy amount of money:( i already invested my 70million into youngsters and bought firsts options:p

Yeah, in my game, they always get a transfer budget of £250,000,000+ in 2007.
Stotty 17-02-2005, 11:59:PM i'm in 2016 :$(H)
SlowSilver 18-02-2005, 12:06:AM Yeah, I'm in 2015, and Milan have all that money and they suck! :D (H)
NIDOKING 19-02-2005, 11:29:AM and they are not even on Intertontos :nape:

SiCkFeSt^ 26-04-2005, 03:04:AM I got a large budget plus i sold stanko for 114m (AUD) and moratti asked for a big signing and i had bought cassano but he took it into his own hands and bought ronaldo and ballack for over 100m each and totally F**ked up my squad.....damn moratti
Rocky 26-04-2005, 03:12:AM wait how can i see other teams transfer budgets?
PSVFOREVER 26-04-2005, 03:44:PM no, you're not supposed too. I guess you can check it with cheat programs like FMscout and MCFM (I havent tried them, so I dont know for sure)
Zlatan 26-04-2005, 03:54:PM FM Scout can't do that Cody. I'm sure of that because you can only search for players not for clubs with FM Scout.
rpvankasteren 26-04-2005, 05:59:PM You can with MCFM. Problem is you need a strong will not to accidentally edit it as well.
