he was never a starting line up player. the majority of the times he enters in the second half. He has been rotating with Mantorras for a bench spot. This time was the angolan the called.
We have 4 strikers now: Nuno Gomes, Delibasic, Karadas and Mantorras and Trap usually choose a 4-2-3-1. Nuno Gomes is the starter
RuiCosta_10 12-02-2005, 05:20:PM 2-0 for us!
Simão and Nuno Assis! A very important game tonight, hope we can win in one of the most difficult games of the season.
FORÇA BENFICA!
Virgo 12-02-2005, 07:26:PM will be decisive to win this one. I'm not getting my hopes us though... we've been too inconsistent this season.
ADC1987 12-02-2005, 08:30:PM I think it will end with a draw!
2:2
Benfica loosing the points @ the end of the game
MUHAHAHA :p
Paulo Da Silva 12-02-2005, 10:06:PM like this game needed a thread.....
neways ....4-0 benfica. no matter what Braga always bend over and take it hard from Benfica. it;s kind of hard to beat Benfica when your own fans betray you and cheer for the opposing team.

like if in Portugal was not usual a person cheer for a big 3 team and next for his home town club... it's only Braga fans that "betray"
zuppafly 12-02-2005, 11:37:PM A few years ago, Freamunde achieved the quarter finals of the Portuguese Cup. We played home agaisnt Porto (Oliveira was the coach). There wasn't a single Freamudense rooting for Porto. I suffered a lot on that game for my hometown club... We lost 4-0 and I left the stadium extremely pissed and sad...
But obviously you can't understand that feeling...

Virgo 13-02-2005, 05:12:AM crappy 0 - 0 draw
Trappatoni is such a wuss putting in a DM for a Winger at the end of the game
RuiCosta_10 13-02-2005, 05:13:AM F*ck, Braga played so defensively... In Lisbon it was the same thing...
:kader:
Punkt 13-02-2005, 05:14:AM i think it was an excellent game
the result is fair.
VilaDoConde 13-02-2005, 05:18:AM I think Cesinha is amazing. Why the big 3 in Portugal insist on buying Pitbulls, Andre Luis's, Rogerio's and Pinillas is beyond me. This guy is amazing. What ball control, what smarts.
What a game from Manuel Fernandes and Joao Alves (the new Tiago?). Braga has the best back 4 in Portugal.
SCP19O6 13-02-2005, 05:22:AM Sporting is only of the big 3 that didn't lost points in Braga. So far...

A 0-0 tie is not losing points?
Parasol 13-02-2005, 05:23:AM why did the tvi comentator always insisted in saying all wender done was perfect and beautiful?!
i'd like to review this match just to count the times the man told wender's name.
all in all a good result, and MOM --> PETIT!

I think Rogério is a very good player when he plays right back. Remember how he "secou" Simão at Alvalade?
Vila do Conde, the game with Braga was at Alvalade.

SOrry. I didn't read your post. I didn't notice that said in Braga, still it is a stupid post. How is Sporting supposed to lose points in Braga if they haven't played there yet?
PS-Sporting is the only member of the big 3 to lose 6 points to Maritimo this season. That is all.
RuiCosta_10 13-02-2005, 05:26:AM A bad joke i suppose... :p
SCP19O6 13-02-2005, 05:27:AM I was just kidding, where's your sense of humour? :kader:

You do realize that it is Simao you're talking about? The p*ssy that runs and hides in every single big game he plays?

Haha! :D
::shinji:: 13-02-2005, 08:20:AM hehe, Yeah Simao has a bad habit of doing a dissapearing act just when he's most needed or against stronger opposition
Paulo Da Silva 13-02-2005, 09:34:AM simao has played great this year against the big three. he has played well against Porto for the past two years, it's just most the time the whole team doesn't play at a good level and Simao can't do everything against strong oposition. yes sometimes the team plays bad against a weaker team and Simao can win it by himself, but winning games by yourself against the big three is difficult to do. The only player in the past 10 years in Portugal to win games by himself has been Deco, and Simao is very capable of doing it one day.
now when we talk about the seleccao, then yes he's been a flop, well maybe not a flop but inconsistent.
by the way....great result:rockman:
we better win 2morrow
