View Full Version : Spain
Axelforce 13-02-2005, 08:04:PM I am halfway through my first season at Real Madrid, bought Freddy Adu, but he cant play for my team. I am assuming that is because he is too young, but I have another player that is 16 that is eligible to play in my first team. Also, is there no other way of playing other players that you havent registered for the league (max. 25, 3 non-EU).
0le_Spain 13-02-2005, 08:14:PM You can play any of your B team players with the first team so i would take the reserve, squad, or young players from the first team and send them to the B team and give them a number there and then send them back to the first team and play them and i think they can even be non-EU if im not mistaken.
Fernandez 13-02-2005, 09:05:PM I look at Real Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia and I see that they are clearly playing with more than 3 non-EU players.
adj137 13-02-2005, 09:27:PM are you sure that some of them, like ronaldo i think have 2nd nationalities.
i know its a bit off-topic but where do you find out the work-permit status of your players (e.g 34 games out of 53)
Axelforce 14-02-2005, 11:18:PM Ronaldo and Owen is not a problem, its the new signings I have made like Adu and some other youngsters.
BTW, when does a player get 2nd nationality, after 1 season at a club ?
Stotty 14-02-2005, 11:31:PM in real life i THINK if you've played in the country for 5 years and you haven't played for you own national team, you can play for the clubs country :)
Ie / Cudicini and Di Canio can play for england :)
depends on the country nick, in the UK i do believe its only 5 years, but if i remember rightly we had this discussion about CM4, and i think someone said for Italy it was 10yrs, not sure about Spain, sorry :)
TROD.
rpvankasteren 15-02-2005, 04:56:AM You could open up the editor and look at the nation data. It's in there somewhere, if I'm not mistaken.
rpvankasteren 15-02-2005, 05:08:AM Yeah, here it is:

Andreas 17-02-2005, 11:32:PM Since we're talking of Spain. I've started a game with Real Betis, and I bought Gael Clichy the day after I registered the 25 players. Is there any way to make him eligible to play in the Primera now?
emilin 18-02-2005, 02:27:AM Give him a number in your B squad and then move him to your A squad and you can play him
Axelforce 18-02-2005, 11:32:PM So technically speaking you can have 6 non EU players in your squad? Or does the C team also count, making it 9 ?
emilin 19-02-2005, 03:48:AM I think so yeah
