1.) Common.big is a BIG file where all the common stuff like shorts, socks, boots, jersey numbers, faces, hair styles and the palettes are placed in! You know the stuff all teams use...

2.)The little icon you're referring to shows you if a player's name will be called by the commentator in the game! But ATTENTION, the display's not always correct cos for instance Francesco Totti's box isn't ticked though his name is called in the game!!!
