The psx version of FIFA 2000 plays fairly realistically and well. The only real major downer is the fact it is impossible to defend from set pieces! e.g. I wan Man Utd with Jaap Stam against Kanu. I was shielding the ball and was holding header and Kanu who has never scored with a header in his life physically dives through Stam with a diving header and scores. So far in season mode I've only had one 3-3 game and only a few 3-2 games. So from what I've read on this forum the psx version sounds better.
ps. Nationwide league should be in it, UP THE EAGLES!

I played the PSX as well, but I think the gameplay is still to easy to score. I managed to win 7-1 over Man. Utd (with Chelsea). Does it sound realistic? Well, no.
Anyway, FIFA 2000 is still one of my favourite. But with the coming of Winning Elevn 4 from Konami, I think I would prefer to play it instead.

yeah but on what skill level?
When I play Fifa2000 on the PSX I find if I play on professional level and dont use the sprint button I get a challenging game and realistic scores.

You said one 3-3 score and some 3-2 score and what all the rest were 2-1?
The average goal total per game seems to be about 8, when to be realsitic it should be somewhere between 2.5 and 3.5 goals per game. Average shots seem to be 40 to 50, when it should be about 15-20 per game. Im talking here8 or 10 minute setting.
This was on playstation im talking about.

Guys, we're talking about serious gamers here... no one of us, i'm sure play under professional level.
I played that on professional level. But even on the world class level, you still can gain that big advantage over most of the teams.
