10Ruud 22-02-2005, 12:35:AM What type of Squad is Mexico going to field?
If they have most of their regulars...Columbia is goin down.
#1 Stunna 22-02-2005, 02:52:AM we're missing about 6 vital players... 4 of them from the starting 11. I wont lose sleep over this game though, its one of Mexico's many pointless friendlies this year.
What pisses me off is that they can make all these gay friendlies and sh*t... but when the English FA invites Mexico for a friendly... "there are no available dates". Bullsh*t, I guarantee u they'll find a day for a pointless friendly vs Guatemala or Ecuador.
Atlas 22-02-2005, 03:03:AM true what you say Stunna, and since we always lose our frindly games is better to lose to England than El Salvador or Guatemala.

Bullsh*t, I guarantee u they'll find a day for a pointless friendly vs Guatemala or Ecuador. Yeah, I'm still f*cking pissed about that sh*t. How often do we get the chance to play a good team for a change, no offence to teams like Costa Rica or Guatemala but it just seems that we play them all the time, especially Ecuador. :kader: F*cking FMF.
ronnifan9 22-02-2005, 03:19:AM Eh, same here...it be nice to see them play England.
At least Necaxa played Man U.:D (Y) and America-Everton.
Sorry to all the Central American teams, no disrespect. :( :mexican:
Diego colombia 22-02-2005, 08:53:AM it is also a pointless game for colombia, since none of the players, probably with the exception of 1 or 2, are playing for colombia for the worldcup qualifiers. There is a whole new defense, new golie, new midfield and new forwards. its not worth it to take players out of ther clubs to play pointless games, such as these one. Anyway i guess the final score will be 2 -2.
Bonzi 22-02-2005, 09:09:AM why is Mexico rated so high in the FIFA rating? they are in the top 10. but i don't remeber they won something in last ten years:confused:

Because they play mostly crappy teams in qualifying and pound them 7-0......The USA is about the only competition they will run into until they go to Germany.

Maybe a 1-1; goals by Omar Bravo and Luis Grabiel Rey.
@ Skull.
Puebla is having a tough year, since they're trying to avoid relegation to Division A. So there's your reason.....

ManU2000 23-02-2005, 10:46:PM Francisco "Kikin" Fonseca
10Ruud 23-02-2005, 10:53:PM Actually he did do a good job against Costa Rica, but he missed two breakaways on our 2nd string goalie.
He is my fav player on the NT though...I like his style.
ninobomba 24-02-2005, 12:35:AM your coach is using good youngsters that have actually proven themselves which is excellent , but the Colombian coach is the opposite, Colombian under 20 team just won the south american champion ship with a player that scored 11 goals in the tournement, being the top scorer and our stupid coach does not call him up..

You are right, Rodallega should be called up for this kind of games but only for now to see how he does, however when it comes to world cup qualifiers he still needs more experience before they should call him up for world cup qualifying games. I think the coach is not calling him because I belive the under 20 team has some friendly matches to be played and they are probably training.. remember they under 20 world cup will be played this summer... :)

If I had to pick from the B squad one of these two
Andrés Orozco (Dorados- México)
Yulián Anchico (Tolima - Colombia)
but If I could pick from the A squad either one of these two
Gustavo, Victoria (Rizespor Turkey)
Carlos, Córdoba (Gimnasia Argentina)

ronnifan9 24-02-2005, 10:07:AM Penalty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PK Taker: Lozano
Result: He missed it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
:kader: :(
skull 24-02-2005, 10:26:AM That referee... they shouldn't have used a Mexican ref for this game is very clear he is calling everything for Mexico but not for Colombia.. all yellows on Colombia have been called while Mexico has had a couple also that he didn't call... now that Penalty kick for Colombia, little doubfull but I think it was a penalty, but when it came to the Mexicans he did not hesitate to call the penalty kick.. but Justice was served and he missed.... anyways they should have used a non Mexican ref for this game at least... :kader:
skull 24-02-2005, 10:54:AM GOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLL
Perea.. Colombia :rockman: although he sucks that was a nice goal to tie the match... Mexico 1 - Colombia 1
skull 24-02-2005, 11:28:AM End of Match... final Score 1-1 kinda boring at the end... :)
ManU2000 24-02-2005, 11:34:AM Typical, another 1-1.
Shiryu 24-02-2005, 02:27:PM What a worthless match....
1 - 1 as predicted...
All it did, was put more strain on the chivas players, the commentators were calling salcido and "maza" slow, and not knowing how to defend properly........how can they!, when they have played six games in the last three weeks! :nape:
Medina and Bravo did nothing in the game, with the exeption of medina's goal pass.
The midfield played like cr*p, what the hell was LaVolpe thinking when he set that starting line-up? Juan Pablo Rodriguez? Israel Lopez? Arce? Was i watching the same game as everyone else, where the hell were they!?....So-so game by Carmona and Lozano, and let's not mention Zinha  , atleast Pity seemed to have some idea of how to play.
We seriously need to start playing bigger teams ( no disrespect intended for colombia, but that could hardly be called the complete Colombian squad), and have more training games with all the older starters. Lavolpe has had enough games to select players, he needs to get serious already.
(:/)
ninobomba 24-02-2005, 06:08:PM we missed the complete A squad and your right our coach is doing the same thing, hes trieng out new players every friendly... he should just stick with the qualfieng line up.
nice goal by Perea

Sh*t, he played on the right side of midfield against Costa Rica and was all over the place. I don't know if you've got something against him but he's had a positive impact on the NT, whether you agree with me or not.
