Fulcrum 03-01-2000, 10:07:AM Ok I'd like to change my prediction
FA Cup: Sunderland (runner up Leeds)
NOT Man Utd as they are off to Brazil (which I forgot) to see if they are good enough to beat the awesome power of South Melbourne SC. Who needs to play Arsenal or Leeds when you could play South Melbourne?
AJAX supporter 03-01-2000, 12:05:PM Arsenal for the double I hope.
Final league standings
1) Arsenal
2) Manchester United
3) Chelsea
4) Leeds United
5) Liverpool
6) Sunderland
Kewell the Jewell 03-01-2000, 01:40:PM Ajaz supporter u obviously know nothing about the Premier league if you put Chelsea ahead of Leeds and Sunderland!
drummerboy 03-01-2000, 01:47:PM I agree with Down Under on everything. Although Liverpool at the top would be nice.
dbubbs : LUFC Mad 03-01-2000, 07:04:PM 1 Man Utd
2 Leeds
3 Arsenal
4 Sunderland
5 Spurs
6 Chelsea
7 Villa
Leeds will win it next season, but i think today's proven we haven't got the strength in depth Man U have, we've got (imo) the best Midfield in the country, but when none of em play...
i hope i have to eat my words tho

GOONERBHOY 04-01-2000, 04:02:AM Just a reminder: MANU ARENT IN THE FA CUP.
Remember, they are trators!

3]Giggs
Shortlist:
Bergkamp(My fav but injury has effected his chances)

Iron Duke 04-01-2000, 06:49:AM 1) Leeds
2) Man. Utd
3) Arsenal
4) Newcastle. Utd (Please!!!) ;-)
20) Sunderland...Boooooo Hissss
Salamo 04-01-2000, 10:29:AM I sure hope Arsene Wenger can pull the Gunners back together. Did anybody see the defence on the match against Wednsday?
It really was a big dissapointment compared to the way they played against Leeds!
1. MAN UTD
2. LEEDS UTD
3 ARSE AND HOLE
IT WILL PROPABLY COME TO THE LAST TWO GAMES TO DECIDE THE PREMIERSHIP WINNER.
GOONERBHOY 05-01-2000, 04:51:AM So Manu throw over 100 years of tradition just to play in this tournament. They have so much depth that they could easilly have fielded two quality sides this season. Now whan Arsenal win the cup everyone will say that`s just because manu wasn`t in it
Sella 05-01-2000, 06:09:AM I'll say it again - Where's Leeds? They're still first, and Manchester doesn't have the title guaranteed, god, it seems like everyone's so sure they'll take it...
but anyway, my guess and hopes:
1.Manchester United
2.Leeds United
3.Arsenal
Goonerbhoy - ManUtd's reason (excuse!) for leaving the FA Cup (except for being recognized as the best of the best of the best) is to help England host 2006... And why is everyone doubting the success of this new tournament? No one thought the World Cup or Champions' League would fly either, and look where they are now.
btw, Real Madrid got a deal - they SKIP the first few Cup rounds, so they can participate! Why shouldn't ManU get that? They'd probably pass the first few teams anyway...
Also, remember last year they fielded a reserve side for the Worthington Cup? Why not do that (at least) for the FA cup? Coulnd't hurt.
Salamo 05-01-2000, 06:33:AM Sorry people I take away my previous prediction after the draw yesterday I honestly don't think Arsenal will make it!!
I hope it's Leeds or Sunderland in that case!!
