I only hope the pace of play and power bar would be put into FIFA 2000. FAPLS is twice the game that FIFA 99(Pinball) is. The passing and tackling in FIFA 99 are a joke, and you don't realize how bad a game it is until you play FAPLS. The stars system is great, you can make Tor Andre Flo into a legitimate striker, so it has to have some value.

Does anyone know a decent FAPLS site with roster update, etc? The EA team has been AWOL in regards to posting a patch, and Anelka is still with Arsenal, etc.

I hope you're talking about the PC version of FAPLS as the playstation version is absolutely rubbish in terms of animation and gameplay. FIFA99 is however the finest football game I have ever played. If you want improvements get FIFA2000 It's gonna be massive!!
