They are while they tackle the person. ;)

seems stupid when that happens at home games though.

Yeah the crowd needs a total make over, they never get into the game.

Doing that would make the game come closer to the real thing... hence it will not be done, EA is not interested in making the game a SIM, just making money out of the game...

I like the ideas about the booing.

I had a game where I was away, playing against Barcelona, and we eliminated them from the ECC, and the crowd went crazy when we won, and I just didn't understand it. I don't think the home crowd to a game would go crazy if their team just lost.

Any other ideas?

Yeah it would be great. Also they should put more effort at the crowd that is supporting the local team, they should put a more aggressive crowd against the away players.
