Why so few? If you're reading this Drinky [btw, I'm TheDUB2 from the PCG forum], should we try to find a way to get a bigger exposure? No, not streaking, but try to get as many sites as possible in on this...

Yeah, tell me about it. I sent it to Microsoft, but did I even get a reply? NO!!! Stupid big business idiots...

Ok, in that case, why don't we take matters into our own hands? If we can drum up enough support on Soccergaming.com, and the various sites that are hosted/linked, plus arouse the awareness of other gaming sites [www.ign.com maybe a good bet], we could either try to boy cott FIFA, or demand a port from either Microsoft, Konami, or to get EA to listen to our "demands".

Desperate times call for desperate measures...

Are you with me?

Schumacher: I have plans for this petition http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif

I'm hoping to get a print magazine such as PC Gamer to publicise the petition and our campaign. If they can help take up the cause, we would stand more of a chance. We could also try taking this around the net to other sites for their support. I've already managed to find support in the shape of Marc 'Doubli' Duffy from Championship Manager developers Sports Interactive who has said he will sign the petition and recommend his colleagues to, which is a start. Just as long as we make it a big issue, the powers that be will take notice.

Great, exactly what we need.
Hey Drinky, if you can get stuff done in England [I'll get my mates there to try and help], I'll see what I can do here. Various connections through friends may get me support in S.E Asia, and perhaps European countries like Italy...
You never know! *wink*

Here's to a great team...
Thank you to Drinky, but of course Schumacher [I hope no relation to Harald?] for starting this...

P.S...

I'm going to go to each forum and put a message up to get people here...Only one though, so Ric and Drinky wont get pissed off at me...
You see, I'm very passionate about this, since ISS is the best thing since sliced bread, imagine what the PoTD team could do with it! Real teams, players, stadiums, and to top it all off, ITS NOT CRAP!

Right, I've gone to the major forums, telling them about this, and I've emailed IGN.com [www.ign.com], since a few weeks back, they notified readers of a petition to get a GBC game published, or to let publishers know that there's a demand for this game...
Next stop, PCG UK...
Just one question, am I doing the right thing by email games magazines for support?
Do I have your support in doing this?

On 14th July I mailed Soccergaming about the petition. I have no idea whether they published info about it or not, as that very day I left for two weeks in Canada. Did they?

Well, I visit Soccergaming everyday, so let me just say, I only found out about the petition through Drinky in the PCG forum.
You'd have thought people like Matt Holme would be supporting this all the way...

Shame.
[Nice to see Chau Le signing :-)]

To Drinky

How about a Sunday "Monday" Feature about the ISS petition??
It might arouse more awareness...

Can do. In fact, next week's will kick start the campaign in earnest.

The truth is that for any software developer to actually even think about making ISS for the PC, they need to see 1000's of signatures! That's not necessarily how many people will buy it, it how many people will definately buy it and that's only a fraction of ISS fans!!!

EXACTLY!
this is doing more harm than good!
if they see 61 people that's very bad!
i still don't belive it though..only 61 !
