View Full Version : HCE: Ajax vs. PSV [P+R]
Vagegast 17-03-2005, 01:52:AM Game's on Sunday. It's the number 3 against 1. Ajax is horribly out of form, playing its worst soccer in about a decade. PSV has made the CL quarterfinals and beats lower-ranked teams while playing on 50% effort.
If Ajax play like they did last Sunday... 5-0 for PSV :(
Nielz 17-03-2005, 01:54:AM Nah, think next season will go better ... With Blind...
PSVFOREVER 17-03-2005, 02:07:AM I think we can get a win, but it's a stand alone match really. In this kind of matches your previous form doesnt really matter IMO
Zlatan 17-03-2005, 02:39:AM I just hope on a Blind-effect or else I think we'll get crushed
Vagegast 17-03-2005, 02:50:AM The Koeman-effect had Ajax win 3-2 when down 2-0 in the Arena in 2001

DAMN AJAX Are kicking A##
Doesnt lok good 4 u
I wish you could have more human controlled teams in the game, FIFA lets u have eight at least.
romero 17-03-2005, 08:30:AM PSV are playin a game tomorrow before playing Ajax. is Ajax playing a game before this one also?
rpvankasteren 17-03-2005, 08:33:AM No, PSV had to catch up a game, and, with PSV doing so well in the CL, this was the best date for the FA to stuff the game into.
Doesn't matter, PSV is still going to win.
Panna 17-03-2005, 04:02:PM I don't think Ajax stands any fair chance... Psv is too good lately. I'm hoping for a tie.. 1-1

I'm not a PSV "fan." I just like DMB and wanted to play a season with his club.
Zlatan 19-03-2005, 02:11:PM Ah but where are all those Argentinian and Greece fans when you need them.
:kader:
PSV 3 [ Van Bommel, Bouma, Beasley ]
Ajax 1 [ Van der Vaart ]
Vagegast 19-03-2005, 02:39:PM I have no idea what the starting line-up will be. Blind favors the old 3-4-3 in which a hanging man (most likely Heitinga) will float in front of the back three. Rafael will play his old hanging striker role as a #10. Not sure if this means 3 wingers (Rosales/Boukhari) or just one with a stacked midfield. We'll see on Sunday I guess.
Juventino 20-03-2005, 07:19:PM Final score
Ajax 0 - 4 PSV

PSVFOREVER 20-03-2005, 07:38:PM Wasnt that just ownage (H)
24' Cocu 0-1
45' +3 Van Bommel 0-2
54' Van Bommel (pen.) 0-3
59' Van Bommel 0-4
The 1st goal was very good (Y) It was the first chance of the match actually. Shortly after that Trabelsi got a big chance (after a nice combination with Babel, who played instead of Charisteas). PSV had the match in control and in injury time Van Bommel finished PSV's 2nd real chance with a cooly placed shot.
In the 2nd half PSV was completly in control. I must admit the penalty was given incorrect. It was a dive from Farfan, but who cares. Van Bommel scored the penalty. 5 minutes after the penalty Van Bommel completly finished them: 0-4. After that PSV didnt really push and they let Ajax play the ball. Ajax didnt really get any good chances though, besides a nice shot from Pienaar, which hit the outside of the post.
bye bye CL for Ajax. Now they even have to make sure they wont lose the 3rd place to Feyenoord.
HaHaHaHa Ajax
Uhm. Will you say again that you can win the title?
:hump: :hump: :hump: :hump:
Nice game PSV! The title is yours ;)

ladylover 20-03-2005, 08:51:PM Ajax is so **** this season, it is the players that aren't good enough, they just have the talent, Alex owned Babel, it is going to be worse with Blind, he is going to bring in more players from the youth system, they need a few experienced players and someone who is special and adds something special and brilliant, all these players are all the same and they take 2 much time in their passing, by the time they passed their own half PSV was already back in defence. Half of the visitors went home about 20 min before time.

Zlatan 20-03-2005, 09:09:PM As Vagegast stated before give Blind some freakin time. It's not easy you know to start against PSV with a crappy playing squad.
And me and my buddy stayd in the stadium until the last minute. It was a torchering first class.
:(
ladylover 20-03-2005, 09:15:PM Well as I said it is the players that aren't good enough, I don't think that it is the coach's fault. The players just have the talent and it is not working out at the moment. The only player that is consistent is Escude. They clearly need Galasek on the midfield

I think it's stupid if you leave your team when they are losing. If you are a real supporter you still support them, no matter what. So good job Max (H) And I cant imagine you would pay for the whole match and then leave after 60 minutes (some fans did today)
Zlatan 20-03-2005, 10:12:PM SOME? The whole F-Side left the stadium after the fourth goal. So much for our hard-core fans.
:(
Vak 410 are the real Ajax fans. They did stay raising chants about De Generaal.
TheBlueBalla 20-03-2005, 11:06:PM Good god, did Ajax just play that bad? Or are PSV just that dominant domestically now? Was it hard work or did PSV just stroll? I know they have an excellent team, but damn...
ladylover 20-03-2005, 11:13:PM PSV didn't even break a sweat. Ajax started like a reborn team but then it collapsed, they tried to play some football, but it didn't work, PSV had everything in control, I expected a loss, but not by this much.
PSVFOREVER 20-03-2005, 11:36:PM PSV didnt really work hard, they are just excellent in controlling games. The mid trio Vogel-Van Bommel-Cocu is one of the best in Europe, and so is Alex. He is strong, a good header, hard to pass and he's very fast. It wasnt like PSV got much chances, maybe 5 or 6, but everytime they pushed Ajax it was a goal.
Vagegast 21-03-2005, 12:30:AM Holy ******* **** :(
At least I can say that I was right. PSV didn't even play on fulll strength, they were on 75%.
Nice win. Not as nice as the 5-0 in the Amstel Cup in 1998... but still nice (H)(Y)
Run DMB 21-03-2005, 12:59:AM Outstanding (H)
Van Bommel isn't going to be around next season, is he? :(
Juventino 21-03-2005, 01:05:AM Nope... he's leaving for sure. His contract expires at the end of this season. He wants an adventure abroad. I would surely like him at Juve. (Y)
Hendrik 21-03-2005, 01:06:AM Is there any top club that is not after him?
mark77 21-03-2005, 01:11:AM We were never linked with him so there's a great chance we'll sign him. :crazyboy:
The best part is that he'll cost 0$.
Juventino 21-03-2005, 01:13:AM I think he already signed with a club, but he doesnt want to say which one yet... He's always pretty cautious when he's talking about a transfer.
Vagegast 21-03-2005, 01:29:AM Originally posted by -Vince-
Is there any top club that is not after him? Funny enough, yes. I don't think any club showed any serious interest until this year because his contract expires. Real wanted him for a while but they got Gravesen. Dortmund wanted him because his father-in-law is the coach. Spurs wants him because of Jol. There may be some mystery club out there that's not been named yet. Van Bommel said he's gonna announce what club he's going in a couple of days.
peruytu 21-03-2005, 01:30:AM Any vidoes out there of the highlights?
I'd like to see the alleged Farfan dive... its not like him to do those sort of things, he must have learned that at PSV.
