i think that this is a great squad, pretty much resembles the exact same roster that participated in euro, and with conte, ferrara, pessotto and antonioli, it gives room for new comers roberto baroni, gennaro gattuso, guiseppe pancaro,and daniele adani a chance to play.

i think italy had agood squad in euro but the coach was the problem otherwise no one would've disputed if they deserved to reach the final...

i agree that baggio should have been called up but where to put thim
of course you could find a place for him, but he's like romario, doesnt get originally called up then he does, but brazil called him up because they need scoring and thats something italy has alot of right now

Im really suprised that Trap called up Baronio and adani .I know Baronio is a good player ,but he still hasnt played one game with Lazio this season and already he is named in the national team and as for Adani ,I never knew that he would ever be in the national team ,maybe its cause of that old fiorentina connection that he and trap had .But overall its a good choice ,but i still wish Vieri to be in there .

Oh Paolo: Probably Baronio is in because he was Reggina's best player last year and ruled midfield in Italy's U21 Euro-Champion squad. Ever thought of that?

Where is Buffon? Is he still injured? He IS the best Italian keeper, although Toldo may contest for that. Better than Abbiati atleast for sure.

I know he played for Reggina ,but im surprised that he was called up at this time .
