Poor Mcmanaman, another victim of the transfer policy of Real madrid. The new chair man promised to get Figo if he got elected, and that's what he did, that was for him a way to ensure that he would be elected, and Mcmanaman suffers the concuquenses. Ok, Figo may be a better winger than him, but mcmanaman isn't too bad! Seedorf wasn't bad either, but about the same thing happend to him. A real shame, if Real continues buying and selling like this on impulse instead of good thinking, it will ultimatly be their downfall.
A GOOD TEAM CAN NOT BE BOUGHT BUT TAKES SEASONS OF GETTING TO KNOW EACHOTHER'S STYLE AND POSITIONING ON THE FIELD

spurs and chelsea are not an option, if mcmanaman keeps his word, he said he didn't want to play for an english premier ship club anymore

Macca is a brilliant player, granted he will never be a Figo, or a Zidane, but he is good. They need to realize that European Championships are what will really make the club and fans happy, not single players like Anelka, Figo....

Mcmanaman actually wants to play for Liverpool again in the future, but not right now, Middlesbrough would be a step down for his class, but I guess no other foreign club is interested in him. I doubt he'll want to go to Paris St. germain or Bayern Munich, even if they offered a high price for him.

all i know is that mcmnmn is one of the best, he should be kept, but they spent 60 million euros on figo, and need money, although mcmnmn isn't gone yet, rumour says he's going to chelsea. Most importantly Raul is the best

Raul isn't the best at taking spot kicks...he proved that at euro2k and in the super cup against galatasaray... straight through the middle... badly taken

Well... I can believe the rumours about AC Milan wanting to talk to him - at £8 million he would fit nicely into their budget and his partnership with Redondo last season was arguably the key to Real's success. McManaman is a smart cookie though, in realising that the dead-end long ball and old fashioned coaching of Premiership sides was not doing him any favours, and since going to Real Madrid has had his eyes opened to how good the standard of football is on the continent. Long may he stay abroad (and come back to Liverpool at the age of 30... like all other foreigners in the Premiership...)
