I like their attack, and they have high potential. They have some old qualities of good old Germany, but their defense sucks badly.

Stefan Kiessling
Marcel Jansen

these two stood out and a few who's names I couldn't grasp because they didn't carry name tags >:(

Hopefully they can get their defense cooked up and I would recommend these players to represent Germany (some - not all) for WC 2006. Adding Lahm and Ramelow for support in the back would help the team greatly!

Ramelow is out of the NT for good. More playing time for Huthie and the return of Metzeselder would be ideal.

Yeah, Metzelder would help a lot. Klinsmann should concentrate on choosing the youth, not the "pensioners", if you get what I mean ;)

The WC comes too early for most of the guys.

Well we can't postpone it for that. :P
To be honest with you Vince i belive that no matter what these guyz are not worth a championship. Im just hopping that the german fatherland attitude will help am...nontheless i still believe it will not be the case.
Lets hope for the better.

I'm not too worried about the team to be honest. We have a nice core of worldclass players (Kahn, Ballack, Frings, Lahm, Metzelder) and some who are just about to peak (Schweinsteiger, Huth, Kuranyi, Podolski). If Klinsmann can form a real team out of them we a realistic shot at winning the title.

If not Klinsmann's mission failes.

What happened to Gorlitz? What about Lars Ricken? He is still like what 26?

Görlitz is injured, should be back soon. Ricken's career was going downhill after his gmae-winning goal in 1997 vs. Juventus. Now he plays on a regular basis again but is not more than a mediocre player.

He had all the premises to become an all star player. Too bad.
He was so similar to Scholl and was a little more agile. Nwayz lets hope we find the Klose of 2006 otherwise only Ballack doing the scoring we are doomed.
