ronnifan9 30-03-2005, 10:50:PM Mexico 3-0 Panama
It be obvious the way they played against the U.S. this Sunday. Pero es Mexico...so (H)
JFG_Lancer 30-03-2005, 11:15:PM Mexico 4-0
Panama is not as good as they were in the previous round, and they have lost their best forward to retirement so i think Mexico being the better team will win comfortably
ManU2000 30-03-2005, 11:20:PM I don't know, I think we'll have a tough time but we'll probably win. I'm going to miss this one because of work but I've got someone taping it for me so I'll post my thoughts after watching it.

JFG_Lancer 30-03-2005, 11:24:PM I was talking about Julio Dely Valdes, he did retire right thats what i heard

10Ruud 30-03-2005, 11:44:PM Yea he did retire...I thought maybe you were thinking of Roberto Brown,,,,never really sure what he's doing....I agree they did look good earlier but they looked terrible when they played here in CR on the 26th.

BUT it's a 1 point that keeps us ahead of the pack. :)
(:/)
10Ruud 31-03-2005, 03:32:AM Even with 10 men Mexico should have won.
#1 Stunna 31-03-2005, 03:33:AM we didnt use the 11 that beat Costa Rica and USA... why?

1-1 FT
And calm down Panama, u didnt win the world cup... hell, u didnt even win. U have 2/9 pts, real productive. (Y)
This really shows your lack of knowledge about the development of football in Panama... :nape:
Panama barely has a professional national league and some of those players playing for their team don't have a team to play professionally for.
And yeah a tie against Mexico is like winning the greatest thing out there considering their slow progress in football. They should have gotten their ass kick by Mexico and managed to tie them and with an outstanding goal... :ewan:
Vagegast 31-03-2005, 03:55:AM Mexico 2-1 U.S.A. :ewan: *gigles*
(H)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How does it feel btch?
:|The win over us doesn't take away the fact that you tied against Panama. There's no excuse for losing 2 points against Panama. A tie against Panama: that's embarrassing.
Bobby 31-03-2005, 03:56:AM We tied with Panama :(
JFG_Lancer 31-03-2005, 03:58:AM Damn was i wrong with my 4-0 prediction I was sure Mexico would win Damn :kader:
Well its not like they won't qualify
Yeah and with Cobi Jones being offside.
#1 Stunna 31-03-2005, 03:59:AM Panama barely has a professional national league and some of those players playing for their team don't have a team to play professionally for.
u talking about the same players that play in Ukraine, El Salvador, Honduras, Russia and Colombia? I didnt know these leagues werent professional.
JFG_Lancer 31-03-2005, 04:00:AM Yeah Panama has really worked hard to form a national team that is really suprising teams in the Concacaf
u talking about the same players that play in Ukraine, El Salvador, Honduras, Russia and Colombia? I didnt know these leagues werent professional.
OMG... :boohoo:
You just don't get..It's not that they're not professional..is the fact that soccer is not really supported by the government which makes the development slower..They prefer to play baseball or w/e instead of soccer...and yeah say whatever about the other countries, I personally dont care. Take this in mind though...A lot of high class players have gotten out of the Ukrainian league . Players like Shevchencko that you could never dream of having in Mexico...Sad but true.. :nape:

yes because players like Hugo Sanchez, Rafa Marquez and Jorge Campos are a bunch of nobodies.
and with that Ukranian league comment ur making it sound like I'm talking crap about it, which I'm not.
dannyeli 31-03-2005, 04:22:AM Mexico tied :nape: AGAINST Panama :kader:

Yea, but they scored the greatest goal in Panama soccer history.
What a goal. haha
bjmenge 31-03-2005, 04:53:AM I want to see said goal. Anyone know where I can?
#1 Stunna 31-03-2005, 04:56:AM Yea, but they scored the greatest goal in Panama soccer history.
What a goal. haha
and at least our goal in Panama was legit.
ManU2000 31-03-2005, 06:03:AM So how bad did we play? My dad told me we played like sh*t. I'm too tired to watch the game right now but I'll check it out tomorrow; and what the hell was Lavolpe thinking not playing Kikin and Jimmy, they're two of our best players and have made a big difference since joining. :nape:
Minus 31-03-2005, 03:51:PM how the fucc we go and school the us and a couple days later tie wit a

U didnt exactlly "school" us you beat us not schooled us.
Minus 31-03-2005, 04:07:PM you should see the game again, go look at the stats
#1 Stunna 31-03-2005, 09:05:PM U didnt exactlly "school" us you beat us not schooled us.
if not for the fact that WE suck at scoring... the score would've been at least 4-1, and add to that the couple of great saves Keller made.
Run DMB 31-03-2005, 09:14:PM At least 4-1? Bah, you only outshot us at a 2-to-1 ratio, so 2-1 is fairly representative of the run of play. Perhaps 3-1 or 2-0 was what we deserved, but anything worse than that is just pushing it. At the end of the day you had home-field advantage and beat us by one goal - those are the facts. You didn't "school" anyone.
As if Venezuela getting bitch-slapped by Bolivia wasn't bad enough. (H)
It was in La Paz :jambo:
Minus 31-03-2005, 10:03:PM yes thats rite, we are currently experiencing a striker deficit, i dont know why but weve been having a striker shortage for quite some time, is so sad
ManU2000 31-03-2005, 11:13:PM yes thats rite, we are currently experiencing a striker deficit, i dont know why but weve been having a striker shortage for quite some time, is so sad Blame the owners of teams, instead of developing strikers, they just buy foreigners to take those spots instead. Just look at the leading scorers in the league and you can see that. Rafa Marquez Lugo and Oribe Peralta are good young strikers who should be playing for the NT in the future and hopefully Cacho gets back into the swing of things.
Atlas 31-03-2005, 11:38:PM Loquito score very often for Atlas, he ain't a striker like Borgetti but more like Blanco, he can creat goals, and also score them. but knowing Lavolpe he will call Osorno first instead of Garcia.
