Manchester United's Rio Ferdinand has been passed fit after limping out of England's game against Azerbaijan.

Gabriel Heinze has not returned from international duty in time, while Louis Saha and Darren Fletcher (both knee) are not quite ready to return.

Blackburn skipper Andy Todd has recovered from flu but Rovers are again without influential midfielder Robbie Savage (groin).

Just typical of us to draw to mid-table team this season. Oh and before anyone speaks of the title race being over, it was long gone the night we cheated our way to a draw against Spurs.

Smith and Rooney next game please. I'm not going to blame any player for the result, but since Ruud has come back into the team we have not been able to break down the sides that defend with 10 men and its true. We were unlucky today, but thats hardly a good enough excuse against Blackburn, we shouldn't need luck against these teams, we should be breaking them down but we can't, we had to rely on long range shots. Ruud's return may of messed up our season, we looked class before he came back. I said this after the Palace game and no one liked it, but now my point has been proven. You also have to wonder wether the players practise their movement, finishing and accuracy in training, and if fitness and sharpness is such a problem, then why not put van Nistelrooy in the reserves for a bit, can't do him or the team any harm can it?

what the f***

giggs injury was a massive loss to us.that was yet another dreadful performance from us.
and again friedel makes top class saves,we keep hitting the post as usual and our attack at the ending 10 mins is a pile of s***

seeing other teams at the ending, they seem to attack in some order with patience.
when we attack at the ending 10 mins or so we seem a desperate side and tend to make a hash ot of the end balls.

and i agree with shokz, ruud should be made to play in a couple of reserve games and then be brought.and saha should be sold if he gets injured too much.isn't of a bit help this season yet.no doubt his potential, but he is just another veron.

our gameplay was also crap.rooney seemed a bit tired. and maybe we'll see the excuase of midweek internationals in the press tabloids.but arsenal also had players away on international duty and so did chelsea.they manage to win then why can't we?
forget chances of the title-our 2nd place lead of 4 points has also dropped and seems to fade away.only the fa cup to look at now.
i just want this season to end.

I agree with Shokz and VanTheMan!
Ruud is a superstar but that shoud not make him have a open ticket to the starting line up when he doesent perform!
any other player who come back from injury have to go a couple of games on the reserve team to recover match fitness, and so shoud he!
we where doing well without Ruud,so why fix somthing that aint broken!!!
I am sure Ruud will come back doing great, but i dont think it will happen over night!
I dont think our performance was that bad today, but the ball just aint going in the net,it was dam close a couple of times!and dam Morten Gamst Pedersen when he cleared the header from Silvestre, that was close!!

Thought it was somewhat predictable, I'm still really disappointed with the performance.
Our crosses weren't that good, we don't seem to do well in dead ball situations.
Everyone looked jaded today.
We are missing the x-factor when someone steps up their game and scores for the team. We had possession all the times but couldn't turn it into a goal.
The posts and Fridel denied us time after time...

What was Ronaldo like today? Seeing the highlights it looked as if he had somethin but they didnt show too much, I saw enough of pretty much everyone else, Rooney looked lively, but did Ronaldo do anytin crucial? Cheers.

He got a few good ratings.

Head to head records doesnt count, Man U fans. The League is about consistency, not just showing up for one or two games. I'm surprised there're still Man. U. fans who are Chinese, Ferguson stated that we are the ugliest people alive and he hated us. :nape:

In the first half, the game is very very slow. Just like everyone on the pitch is tired. Rooney's shot is just great but the post f*** it up. Giggs's early injury is the turning point of the game. Also, Ronaldo couldnt perform well today. We dont have any creativity in the midfield. I dont want to say, but we have to admit that Ruud played like crap in the game. Fergie should have put in Smith earlier. The whole team seems dont have any drive....where is our spirit?!

Now, we are in the 3rd place. We and Arsenal are both having 67 points. I hope Fergie to play more our youngsters who are available so that they can gain more experience. However, if we finish in 3rd place, we have to play the CL qualifiers... Let Fergie to decide for us

How was Howard? Did he have much to do or was he a ghost for the majority of the game? This is his fourth or fith consecutive clean sheet if I'm not mistaken.

Howard almost had one unlucky moment, Blackburn had a shot on goal and it was deflected by one of the players, he still managed to get it with his knees and was lucky that a Blackburn player missed the goal from close range. For the rest of the match he had good moments and not much to do.
