Andrejs 12-04-2005, 01:18:PM Heh, that would be great, id like to see Liverpool and Chelsea in the final but...
Voltaic Borusse 12-04-2005, 01:29:PM Hey, that's eerie.
We shall see.
panxoman 12-04-2005, 01:52:PM mmmmh difficult, very difficult but it's a good way to keep your hopes up
peruytu 12-04-2005, 02:30:PM Hmmm interesting....
but never in a million years! :p
Hendrik 12-04-2005, 02:36:PM Porto is the current CL champ, Greece is the current European Champion.
Anything can happen, I can actually see a balanced team like Eindhoven winning it all. If Liverpool gets past Juve, who knows.

Wierd.......convincing even.....but nah......i'm a pessimist..... :boohoo:
Hambo 12-04-2005, 03:18:PM if chelsea go out tonight, then liverpool can go on to win the tournament. anyone who watched the 1st leg has to agree....
however i dont fancy playing 2 legs vs chelsea. who gotta be favourites right now.
manutd4eva 12-04-2005, 03:52:PM Weird.
You won't win it though. (6)
If Everton finish 4th and Liverpool win the Champions League everton won't make it because is only allowed a limited number of teams in the competition hehehehe
theedor 12-04-2005, 04:09:PM ...then liverpool's champions league victory is based on pope's death?
I am a muslim and even I couldn't had made such an observation...
:boohoo:

:boohoo:
:boohoo: indeed.
Though i think he was pointing out the parallels between this year and 1978, you dont have to be a catholic to see that.
theedor 12-04-2005, 04:49:PM either way, I do not mean to offend.. if pope is the idolic name for catholic souls, then I would not mention his name in this kind of paralellity...
anyway go on :ewan:
mhflierman 12-04-2005, 05:00:PM yes, yes, yes....
NAW ewan. :ewan:

modena_10 12-04-2005, 07:31:PM intriguing

Atlas 12-04-2005, 07:46:PM forrest wont win the premiership :D
TROD.
that wasn't the point, Liverpool lost in the league Cup to the evntually League Champions in that time forest eliminated Liverpool became Champs, now Chelsea beat us and they will probably become champs.
hope it happens, that Everton the blue nose can go fu(k themselfs. :hump:
If Pool beat Juve they become favorites to win it in my book.

With Cisse and Alonso Back yes indeed

Im pretty sure he was just joking. This is some weird ass stuff. Im really amped to see the Liverpool game tomorrow as a neutral: I think its gonna be a cracker, despite everyones predictions about a 1-0 to Juve. If Liverpool make the semis and I think they will, i fully expect them to cornhole Chelsea, and if they do that, im pretty sure they will win it all. Man Evertonians would be so fvcking mad :D
gagiz 13-04-2005, 12:02:AM If Pool beat Juve they become favorites to win it in my book.
Are you saying Milan dont have a chance of winning it????
Im very disappointed in you man!:(

I support both Pool and Milan. I said Pool would become favorites in my book if they beat Juve, but that doesnt mean Milan arent. Because Milan are favorites from the start.
If you ask me who i would prefer to win the CL, Milan or Pool, i would say Pool. I tend to support more the team in a tougher situation, and it would be wonderful for Liverpool to win the CL. Milan needs it less.
enigma 13-04-2005, 02:37:PM Interesting.. I would love to see Pool kick Chelsea out of the CL.
They'd have to beat Juve first, of course.
WilliamFAlmeida 13-04-2005, 03:34:PM Dude thats an AWESOME coincedence!!!!!!!!!!
haha....thats pretty cool.
I'll go with it!
Its like those World Cup winner formulas...add the years that the that won it together and you get the same number...
PSVFOREVER 13-04-2005, 03:56:PM PSV wasnt there in 1978 (H) PSV's gonna win it. :p

In 2004, Porto won the Champions League. In 2005 PSV wil win the Champions League. In 2006 the World Cup is in Germany. Therefore Holland will win the World Cup."

so much for that theory Zlatan (H)
i found another one(posted before the game on another forum)...
In 1981:
Prince Charles Got Married
Ken & Deirdre got married in Corrie
Liverpool won 17 league games and finished 5th
Norwich & Crystal Palace were relegated
Liverpool won the European Cup
In 2005:

Liverpool to win the European Cup?
also another reason to laugh at Celtic..
The last time Falkirk were promoted, Dundee went down, Rangers won the league and the league cup and Dundee Utd won the Scottish cup.
night 25-05-2005, 11:43:PM Wow now that is freaky stuff..
akeel 25-05-2005, 11:46:PM Juve also won the scudetto in 1978 and in 2005.

Mikey 26-05-2005, 04:11:PM i dont see the big deal. If you take the time to do research, you can pretty much find these kind of scenerios in a lot of places.
MaSsiVe 26-05-2005, 04:18:PM i dont see the big deal. If you take the time to do research, you can pretty much find these kind of scenerios in a lot of places.
Is it that common? Please, give us some examples.
I still think this is a huge freakin coincidence :|
