The crowd and crowd animations really suck on all previous Fifa games. The crowd doesn't look real at, looks like they're on a boxing match jumping and moving around all the time... The crowd should only move when a goal is scored or a bad foul is commited imo. (It would also be cool to see sections of the crowd clap along to their chants).

Tifo shows should also be included, not only just a sissy little flare here and there... big banners, confetti, paper rolls, large flags and so on...

I loved the in-crowd animations they had in Fifa 2004, why remove that? When a goal was scored, it was cool to see the fans up-close celebrating. This could also be taken to another level, by some small cut-scenes when the ball is out of play (vary between showing a random player, like it is now, and people in the stands..) That would make the "ultimate broadcasting" just a little more ulitmate. And when a bad foul is commited as well... show the crowds reactions up close.

Chants are pretty good imo. Don't need to spend too much energy on improving that. Still.. boo-ing on a booked/unpopular player throughout the game would be cool (for example a player being transfered, and then playing against his old club).

yup, like that idea too. How about this too: since EA is already getting more detailed with the career mode, even during a career, the screen shows up sometimes that the club has been fined for crowd trouble. Why not take this a step further....i'm not suggesting hooliganism or riots but how about during bad calls you have a feature where the fans throw flares onto the pitch....the club would have to be fined and or penalised in other ways.
Or how about a fan running onto a pitch during a bad performance of the club or some other trigger point....again the club to whom the fan belonged to is fined and no one gets hurt, no violence and it would look cool.
You can have this feature on or off or customisable.

When the players are coming on to pitch..cinematics...you can have one of those massive banners of the home team, on one side of stadium, you know the type of banner that covers an entire seating area top to bottom.

I will also repeat what others mentioned:There's not one single Slavic league in this Fifa. If you're gonna include the Israeli league and the Scandinavian leagues, why not includ at least one Eastern European league.
Czech league is not bad, Romanian is not bad, Russian is not bad.
You have included several Greek teams, why not just make a league.
Where's Partizan Belgrade, Red Star, Dinamo Zagreb, Hajduk Split?
Ha even if it might be politically incorect, if you make a (what if) league where you include all the Countries of former Yugoslavia and create a league with the top clubs from those countries, i guarantee that many Croats, Serbs,
Slovenes and Macedonias would be happy to play it, even if the league doesen't exist anymore.

yes the crowds definently need too be more realistic, too me the CL games seem the same as ever other game. Yesterday the Chelsea vs. Liverpool game was not all the excitin but the fans still made noise and waved banners and the milan, inter match why can't the fans be like that, i mean u i know there not tryin to promote hooliganism but still make it more realistic, and also IN ENGLAND IN THE WINTER IS NOT GONNA BE BLOODY SUNNY AND PLAYERS R NOT GONNA WEAR SHORT SLEEVES!!!!!!!!! PLS FIX THAT, sorry for the caps but they do need to fix that, tha climate changes should be noticable from brazilian league to EPL, that's all i can think of for now

to be fair though, they do seem to be going in the right direction.
It would be good to have things like, long sleeves according to date and region, better crowds, some proper flags,chants etc....
But the most important feature,the gameplay, far from perfect, is the best one so far, me thinks.

The NHL series has alot more features than Fifa. Yet Footie is the most popular sport in the world.

After 20-30 passes made the crowd cheer every time a pss is then made

You can choose which player before hand u want booed during the game so therfor the cowd boo eveytime there on the ball or it randomly pics someone to boo

That's how it is now to a large extent. I don't think that the sound is the problem, just the graphics. In NHL 2004 (and I'm assuming 2005) the crowd are all individual 3D people...and some even wear thier team's shirt. It's quite realistic. I wish they had similar crowds in FIFA.
