I have an odd sound problem in FIFA: RTWC 98, in the D3D version of the game under Windows 2000 there is static in the sound about every 10-15 seconds. Any ideas one how to fix this problem?

For some reasons I get the same problem under windows 95 on every EA sports game a couple of weeks after installing. If this is the case then it always sorts itself out.
