I thought that everyone thought that FIFA98 was still the best game, well if that's the case, then why are there always more messages on Fifa99 and 2k forums. Don't let this forum die, like so many others have done.

That's what I thought with FIFA99 and FIFA2000.
And they turned out to be just crap.
I'll have to see it to believe it...

released i think is not anymore....

In the unlikely event of Fifa 2001 being better, please don't abandon Fifa98, as there are still some people who cannot run anything above 99, (Me included, I'm trying to save to get an upgrade) this is still a great game, even if a better 1 is made.

I'm afraid it's a lost cause boys, nobody wants FIFA 98 info any more (even though it is a good game) - we are all over at the FIFA 2001 forum, come and join the party man.

Fifa 98 is not a lost cause. There are still people making very good updates. So stick with ti and continue to improve the game.

Fifa 98 is a great game. That is the 1st soccer sim I've ever had. But there are few problems that the game speed is too slow. I think 99 and 2000 are better in some features. But still it's a great game.

I disagree. I think that the game speed is one of the aspects of the game that makes it more realistic than 99 and 2000.
Yes, both FIFA 99 and FIFA 2000 have better graphics than FIFA RTWC but other than that and the career mode and custom competitions in 2000 there aren't many things that are better!

I've just finished playing the fifa2001 demo, what a disappointement. I couldn't believe EA didn't even try to make the gameplay better. It's the same junk as fifa99 and fifa00.
So there's only one conclusion: RTWC98 still rules!!!!!!!
