Hi, I attempted to take free kicks many times but still failed to score.
I always use bending (meaning i put the circle to either side of the ball)
I set both the accuracy cursor and the power cursor around the middle of the safe zone.
It turned out that either the keeper gets the ball or the ball just won't bend it back on the target.
Please provide some tips. (I used good players 80+ to take the free kick )
Thx

Try taking them without the bent first. In general use as much power as possible without hitting red. And the accurary doesn't HAVE to lay within the "green zone" for a good player to score. As long as it doesn't stop on the left-most then it should be fine.
Add spin only after you are comfortable scoring from freekicks.

The best way to make free kicks is actually pretty simple...
Go for either the top right or the top left corner depending on which is closer/clearer to/for your player. I usually put the whole target circle within the posts.
Now, think of ball as a compass and direct your spin as follows, if you're going for the top left corner place your spin pointer SE on the ball, just a slight bit off the edge. The ball will be spinning quite fast, but not as fast as it would be if you placed the pointer all the way to the edge. For the top right corner place your spin pointer SW on the ball.
If your timing is good, coming just a smidgen short of red, as even going 'right up to it' can still make your shot go a little wild, you'll score frequently on any skill level. In fact you'll usually know right when you hit it if you made it or not.
This strategy can work from some pretty extreme distances and is least effective up close (just on the edge of the box), as you'll frequently hit the wall. I find these situations to be pretty rare though so I haven't yet devised a strategy for them... if someone has please share.
