The patch was first released for Play Station 2 (http://www.weitalia.net/showthread.php?t=19974) only in Italian language, now is also for Winning Eleven 8 International pc in English!!!

I remember you that WEndetta is the only team that make their patches from zero from themselves!!! (Graphic, database, sound...)

In those days probably mirrors for download could be very slow if you have mirrors contacts WEndetta's team!!!

AFP files are file for patches created with AFs explorer...Use the menù Import patch... one time you have loaded the AFS file to patch...

Well, still waiting for someone to have an opinion on it. Opinions do count for something you know. If 50 people come back and say this patch is awful, then it's a pretty safe bet it's not worth downloading.

Damn, changing the ball type u wanna play with is disable (greyed out) :(. Why oh why? Wendetta did put in new balls (like the Aerow), but u can't pick them!

You have to consider they do patches for italians (PS2 mainly).
so in their forum you find basically only italians.

That's why you don't see any english translation.
we can argue about that.. but... they do this way.

In fact nobody of WEteam advertise on international forums their patches,
like Wolf or Ole' mix patches.

new original soundtrack/video/supporter chants/callnames
new stadiums (Mestalla, Dragao, Ataturk...)
new scrolling adboards along all the pitch (they are the 1st who found out this trick :) )
real supporters flags/banners
new real faces
new team kits
new pitches/turf type ..no more circle turfs (hexedited!)
and more... all top quality!

that was PS2 version, advertised...
and I don't know if for PC version they used or not Oedit to create 3d realistic faces... as they don't advertise the specific PC version.

people on italian forum talked about "slow speed" play..
thing that i prefer more than "fast speed" play.
so it means a better calibration of player skills. (overslow calibration)

There are small bugs, that Energia in cooperation with Wendetta team are trying to list and solve.
Remember it's a PORTING from PS2 version of the patch...
and remember also bugs can be different from PES4 and WE8I.

- Bug report on WE8I PC:
1) Big EYE stadium unlocked... got the most serious problem (still investigating on it)
players on the pitch are black.
2) Bernabeu Stadium empty doesn't show REAL MADRID text on seats...
3) Ohio stadium during replay reflects a strange light source (mystery on this)
4) Parma home kit inverted with away kit
5) China kit with still original badge (not erased)
6) England with still old kits, not recent ones.
7) some little bugs in database
8) font of numbers doesn't look correct for Eng.Premiership
9) some scrolling adboards doesn't scroll
solution by Energia:
- open 0_text.afs patched with Wendetta
- look for file: st_kb_tc_ita.bin and extract it on harddisk folder
- look for file: st_kb_tc_we8um.bin and import over it file: st_kb_tc_ita.bin

you can use asf explorer: so you have to increase reserved space on file st_kb_tc_we8um.bin to 65536 bytes and regenerate file saving it in another folder. Only after that you can import st_kb_tc_ita.bin

otherwise you can use DKZ studio to import :)

if WEndetta have a "deal" with Kmochida, I don't know, but this is one thing only behalf themeselve... I don't think, that for this you have to criticate their work. Their patch 2.0 for pc is the best patch in the world. Database is completely rewrited, with parameter of we8 of ps2 rewrited from many person of the team, for many times....

WEndetta is the best patch because many people work in group since many years... some group are specialized in audio editing, some other in graphic editing and othere in database editing...All their patches are edited from 0 since they edit the various WE series...

modify some bugs that users of WEndetta have discovered during the gaming...
For example:
When you play a match in the unlocked BIG EYE stadium, players are black...
Some bugs in database are corrected...(two players with same name in Benfica and portogallo, Werder bremen rewrited with correct formation and others...)
Some players are linked with incorrect call name...
First parma uniform are inverted with the second.
The Goalkeeper of Norwitch, has a corrupted file on the uniform...

i dont mean to be pushy , but being a fc porto fan , their faces ( and all body of course ) are completly unrecognizable.

it would be great if this great patch could include the work done to fc porto , sl benfica and sporting cp done by www.pes.com.pt ( pes editing portuguese team )

their faces and body and colors are really really great.

you have tu put your original e_sound.afs (not modified from other patch) in the dat folder.
This patch however dont' change the team's callnames, because originally was for italian people and playstation 2 (with John Kabira commentary), and remake all commentary of the game for pc (italian and english commentary) was a very long work...
The clubs with not licensed name of the original game remain with the patch...

comparing it with solidus sound patch ;)

pity my old mixed patch had hundreds of new 3D faces inserted by myself..
too much work to do it the same on this patch :)

the patch don't touch the commentary (e_sound.afs or i_sound.afs or s_sound.afs, or g_sound.afs :fool: )
The patch initially was created only for playstation2 for WE8, with original japanese's commentary (john kabira), and now was converted and adapted for pc version that have too many commentary (for each language) to patch them...
The patch touch the sounds of all game (0_sound.afs), but not the commentaries files

No solutions, I've not problems with patch... It could depend from your configurations pc....

i don't think its my pc configs....other patches work fine but this one randomly crashes to the desktop....
here's how I patched it..
Wendetta 2.0
1.Open 0_text.afs via AFS Explorer 3.6
2.Import patch->0_text.afp->rebuild AFS
3.Import patch->0_sound.afp->rebuild AFS
4.Import patch->e_text.afp->rebuild AFS
5.copy WE8.exe to game folder and overwrite original
Wendetta 2.1
6.Import patch->0_text.afp->rebuild AFS
7.Import patch->e_text.afp->rebuild AFS
8.Open PPF-O-Matic->Open ISO->WE8.exe
Open PPF->We8.ppf

Thats how I patched it...

Never mind.I managed to to repatch it correctly. It turns out I didn't do the "ignore the descriptor's length" thingy.....

guys plz this is for my life ...... why all the time i download somthin from filefront it got correpted when i try 2 extract ... and how i can solve this
or what should i do
It happens to me as well sometimes... (but luckily i don't have dial-up :D)
only when i use a download manager.

so probably using IE/FF internal downloader should work fine! ;)

which parts are corrupted? If its small(below 10megs), i can prolly send it 2 you via email

How install the WEndetta's patch:

You have to use AFS explorer 3.6

AFP files are file for patches created with AFs explorer...Use the menù Import patch...
one time you have loaded the AFS file to patch...

For example doing the patching for 0_text.afs

Before importing the afp files in the afs files use this procedure:
1. Open afs explorer
2. Go on menù: File/Configuration... and select "ignore descriptor's length" (Active)
3. Open the AFS you are patching (example 0_text.afs)
4. After loaded, Go on menù: Update the file.
5. Go File/configuration Again... this time deactive "ignore descriptor's length"
6. Close Afs Explorer 3.6
7. Re-Open AFS Explorer 3.6
8. Open the AFS you have updated
9. Import the AFP Patch that have the same name of his AFS file (Import Patch 0_text.AFP)
10. update after everything to be sure if u want.

Now go through the procedure again for all other AFS files (example e_text.afs)

After you have patched the afs with their AFP, copy this file in folder DAT of the game.

Extract the file OPMOV and overwrite it up the original
Extract the WEndetta's WE8.exe and overwrite it up the original

Now download the fix 2.1 and patch it with the same procedure,for each one of afs.files;
while for the exe 2.0 wendetta, you must apply on it the fix 2.1 in PPF format with the ppf o matic 3.0 tool..

Hi, there's a window pop up when import the .AFP patch, do I need to click "select/tick all"? because some of them are unticked.

and when I patch the 2.1 e_text.afs, none of the boxes are ticked, I hit 'patch', then the process window shows everything is NOT FOUND, is this normal? (with afs explorer 3.6)

the weshop's players, would be removed to create new slot for players that not exist in original game, but im not sure about this....

use EditPes4Optionfile, open the file in DAT/Save/folder1/ and click on th UNLOCK button of the tool...

WEndetta dont work their patch on option file, so all the squad are directly update in the game, so also during online!!! :ewan:
