Manchester City caretaker manager Stuart Pearce has won the Barclays Manager of the Month Award for April.
City enjoyed a fine month in April remaining unbeaten in their six games which is their longest unbeaten run in The Premiership since 1994.
City picked up three wins at Eastlands and also recorded three draws away from home.
Their recent run of form has seen City make a late charge to try and qualify for Europe by finishing seventh in the table.
Pearce took charge at City in March after Kevin Keegan left the club.
The former England international is the first ever Manchester City manager to win the award.
legend  if this doesn't convince the City board to make him permanent manager, I dont know what will :p
