which is exactly why I'm making one last patch for FIFA 98. I know its old, but since this game EA have lost their bottle!

This "old game" is head and shoulders above the newer versions. With a couple of patches this "old game" can go head to head with FIFA 99 and FIFA 2000.

I'd like to see 2 patches made, if possible:

1) High resolution patch, 1024x768 and 800x600 for Glide;

2) Internet play patch (in my dreams, but maybe...)

That's exactly right, with some new patches and a couple improvements here and there, Fifa98 can be miles ahead of newer versions.It already has the best gameplay, it has the most realistic speed too.

i love fifa 98. I've got all the fifa series and 98 is the one i play the most still. Best gameplay.

I also think updating FIFA RTWC 98 is a great idea, it may lack the gloss of 2000 (I didn't get into 99 enough, I decided to wait for 2000), but it has everything stats/gameplay-wise that I need in a soccer game. I'd update it but I don't have enough time/knowledge/access to stats etc. Thanks to Joey for putting in the hard yards to make a final patch, whatever you come up with will be more than enough for me!

If EA Sports give upgrade with AI and tactics

Create a Higher Resolution-patch! Fifa 98 has by far the best stadiums (well, maybe the WC98 were a little bit better, nevermind http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif)
