Crusad3r 21-06-2006, 01:23:PM Well Wenger's denied the stories.
Now just sign him up for 1009685 years. So he'll stay a club that respects him, not a circus with presidents or some crap like that where you get no power and they sack you if you drop the wrong player.
Obviously Wenger will deny that until Villar Mir wins the elections.
Do you think Wenger will say "Im leaving, but only if Villar Mir wins, if he does not win i will stay :DDDDD" ???
Madrid is not a circus, is just having elections, if Villar Mir we need a man like Wenger to forget the old system, although we had succes also with that system.
Stop thinking everybody in Madrid is brainless and you are a genious.

(Y), to add to that Dreath you should read Villar Mir's campaign before making such comments like oh he wont have any power.
Eng4WorldCup 21-06-2006, 05:03:PM doesnt matter, wenger aint going so lets drop the subject.
Stotty 21-06-2006, 05:11:PM ']Torres is all Milan's just wait and see :D
Open critic of Serie A. your going to be dissapointed.

And do you think a manager would break his back to get the star player to sign a new contract, buy a new player and take the club who's supported him for 8 years into a new world-class stadium but then accept some maybe contract at a club with a terrible reputation for mangers?
And based on experience, most of Real Madrid is brainless, not the fans, but the people who run it.
Funnily enough there's been like no publicity of this "news" in England.
As I said earlier this is non-story. Some wannabe hoping to get into power by lying. Sounds like every politician ever.

If Villar Mir wins, Time will talk.
I think it makes sense Wenger leaving to join a big team, in other country, in other league with better weather, more challenges, and even more money, after staying 10 years in England and EPL. He is French, he is not Ferguson.
Stotty 21-06-2006, 06:29:PM i love it how your trying to convince yourself.
it doesnt take much to convince a Real fan. check some other footie forums and read.
they believe Cesc, Kaká, Diarra, Carvalho, Ruud, Ashley Cole etc are all joining them.
And they are serious as hell :D
Bobby 22-06-2006, 03:10:AM I think it makes sense Wenger leaving to join a big team
Uhh, we beat you, at your stadium. Actually, you never really had a chance. The scoreline flattered the hell out of you.

Gerrard, Ronnie meh..
Torres will come, however :jambo:

Sure he's overrated, people rate him as a 10, I'd prolly say he's a 7. Fact is, he's only 22 and playing alone in front of a very average Atletico midfield.
Believe me, be it Man Utd, Arsenal, Barca or Milan who ends up with him, will be pleased.

Pleased untill they see him miss chance after chance after chance. He is young, fast, can dribble at times ( he was the player in la liga that lost the most balls ), poor finishing...awsome everyone should be after him. I dont see all the hype around the kid, his partner Villa for the nt is a better player than him...
Yeah I know you're right, but like I said, he's only 22. He's a risk, but I think one worth taking.
Dreath 22-06-2006, 05:54:PM Go back to your own threads >_>

Yes, Arsenal played very well.
And i think actually Arsenal is a big team. Dont you think? :)

If you think that, then you are an ignorant. Since Spanish/Brazilian press talk about kaka you look really scared!!
You must learn the different between "I WANT/I WOULD LIKE" and "I WILL HAVE FOR SURE"
We want many players, and press name 50 new players every week, but obviously Real Madrid will have many problems to sign diarra, cesc, kaka, etc, I think we have no many money for that :(

BTW Arsenal supporters, Papers say Wenger is coming if Villar Mir will be the president. Actually the odds are very bad for Villar Mir.
Socrates 22-06-2006, 06:26:PM BTW Arsenal supporters, Papers say Wenger is coming if Villar Mir will be the president. Actually the odds are very bad for Villar Mir.
Yea I have read that VM was interviewed on Cadena Sir and was asked about Wenger. He said he would not confirm or deny anything.De La Morena than says "I know from a very good source that Wenger will come if you win" to which Villar Mir said, "we'll see."
Also read that while Wenger was commenting a game for French station TF1 during the Argentina and Holland game he was if he will you be at Arsenal next season to which Wenger says "right now I am part of a very good team with TF1 (the french station), as for the future who knows."
Anyways I will get out of this thread now.
one last thing in the Arse thread, please read my post carefully, I said "read other forums" when I was referring to easy-to-dupe Madridistas :)
ya'll not that bad :D
Im leaving this thread in peace. Van Persie > Henry. Bye.
Eng4WorldCup 23-06-2006, 12:24:AM stop this retardedness of wenger to real madrid. it wont happen. 100% WILL NOT happen. at arsenal wenger LOVES his kingdom that he has built. once he is done with coaching he will either go on to be french coach (the unlikely runner up of waht he will do:) but most probably he will be promoted to a higher position at arsenal for the rest of his life. he loves arsenal. he loves the atmosphere. he loves london. there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that he is staying for a very long time. its more likely henry wont be at arsenal next year, but we all know the truth to that now...
TheBlueBalla 23-06-2006, 02:47:AM Thats pretty rich coming from you. You think your signing Gerrard, Ronaldinho, Torres etc.
someone got owned, and I dont think it was stotty
runner4life203 24-06-2006, 04:23:AM Arsenal is cleared by the FA in the Beveren investigation

Bobby 24-06-2006, 06:44:AM When I talk in my sleep it has a higher chance of being right than the spanish sports press.
And I never had any doubt on the whole Beveren thing, allie. They've been up to something, and I'm willing to bet they got caught. They were looking for someone to drag into hell with them.
Fernandez 28-06-2006, 10:22:AM Did you all know van Persie's a Muslim?

Yep, I heard about it during the rape case.
is he going to change his name? (Muslim converts are required to do so I think)
btw, was Zidane born a Muslim or converted?
Dreath 29-06-2006, 03:06:PM Probably born.

Dreath 03-07-2006, 01:06:PM Well Calderon won the Madrid elections.
However, his right hand man and sporting director, Pedja Mijatovic, apparently had dinner with Cesc’s agent and they came to an agreement over a 5 year contract for our man. They say Mijatovic will be in contact with Arsenal in the next few hours to arrange the transfer. I expect the conversation to go something like this.
“Hello, this is Mijatovic from Real Madrid.”
“F*ck off, c*ntchops.”
*click*
Shamelessly stolen from arseblog.
pede54 03-07-2006, 04:27:PM hahahahahahhaaa.....thats so fu<kin' funny Dreath......Fu<k off <untchops..... :funny:
Dreath 03-07-2006, 06:48:PM If only I said it, all credit goes to arseblog.
Anyway, Cesc has been given Paddy's old number, numero 4.
I think we should show up Calderon.
This is how the convosation should go-
<Ring>
"Ello matey, Double D ere!"
"Hellooo I'm Calderon, I vant Fabregas"
"Oh you're the joker 'o promised im to yor club ain't ya?"
"Yeees"
"Ok chap, you promised, we'll sell him for Ł140 million"
Now, either way Arsenal win and Madrid look like mugs. He leaves, for 140 million, we get a 14000% money boost from what we payed for him nad Madrid spend a stupid amount of money. Or he stays and Calderon looks like the c*ntchop that he is.
So you get my drift.
pede54 03-07-2006, 07:08:PM yeah I do.....a cunning plan indeed
#4 aint gonna look good with "Fabregas" :(
give him the #10
10-hassan-10 04-07-2006, 01:16:PM no way should we let go of Fabregas
Crusad3r 04-07-2006, 01:20:PM Dreath more you laugh, more you will cry (in case Cesc is leaving)
:corn:
Dreath 04-07-2006, 01:22:PM But he's not.
He wants to take steps forward in his career, not steps backwards. He's said he's staying, so he is staying.

In case Cesc is joing Real Madrid i wont be here to say "hahahahahahaa" but honestly, close your mouth cause you and me dont know what is gonna happen, is clear he is spanish and he would like to be back to spain with his family.
Yossarian 04-07-2006, 02:17:PM I wonder if a club like Lyon sees itself as being above us or atleast equal to us when it comes to reputation and stature in the footballing community?

The same family that said, specifcally the dad, that he'd disown him if he played for Madrid? Not that means anyone, but a funny little quote.
Cesc may leave, i'm not denying that. But he'd be as foolish as hell to. There are few clubs that an develop players like we can, and with all due respect to Madrid, they aren't one of them.
You have to understand here, that Arsenal football club are fed up with Madrid. Every summer you try to buy someone from us, it seems you want to be us. Vieira for 5/6 years, Henry every so often, Wenger, and now Fabregas. Maybe you should sign some better scouts.
Frostwolf 04-07-2006, 03:29:PM I'm sure Cesc would want to go "home" to Madrid which is i presume is very different to Barcelona to play for a team which he detests, leaving a team that holds his contract for 5 more years and has helped him become the player he is now.
Delusional.
I wonder if a club like Lyon sees itself as being above us or atleast equal to us when it comes to reputation and stature in the footballing community?
Lyon are a very powerful club and I suppose some at the club think that way, but in the eyes of most of the footballing world I don't think it would be the same... mostly due to reputation I guess.
ladylover 04-07-2006, 05:31:PM Well I wouldn't be surprised if Cesc went to Real, but it won't be easy for Real. It will be harder to convince Arsenal then Cesc himself.

Dreath 04-07-2006, 05:34:PM I'm amazed we haven't reported Madrid to FIFA yet. They have an agreement with the player without contacting the club? That's called tapping up.
Anyway, his agent's a Madrid fan, no sane person would call Madrid the best club in the world, they aren't even the best club in Spain.

Id say its more his Agent is a fan of $$$, signing for Real Madrid means big signing on fee.
Cesc signed a 6 year contract when he signed for us in 2003 that means he at 3 years left. We have no reason to sell him, what ever you guys paid for Ramos double it and you may have your selves a deal and thats if Cesc really wants to go, if he doesnt want to leave than you can forget about it

But yeh
http://home.skysports.com/list.asp?hlid=400756&CPID=23&clid=178&lid=3&title=Saviola+coy+over+Gunners+link
Reports in Spain claim Arsenal are close to agreeing a deal to sign Argentine playmaker Javier Saviola.
The Barcelona man's agent Alfredo Cabrera Brizuela claimed last month that the Premiership side had enquired about Saviola.
According to the latest rumours, that interest has advanced to the point where Saviola is ready to join Arsenal ahead of Greek giants Panathinaikos.
He has been told he has no future at Barcelona after spending last season on loan at Uefa Cup winners Sevilla.
Panathinaikos have lodged a bid for the 24-year-old and Saviola was open to a move to Greece before Arsenal registered their interest.
The former River Plate starlet, though, would prefer a move to The Premiership and that has given The Gunners the edge.
Following Dennis Bergkamp's retirement, Arsene Wenger has lost a creative element to his side, something which could be provided by the mercurial talents of Saviola.
For now, though, Saviola is trying not to be distracted by the rumours as he gears up to return to Barcelona after Argentina's World Cup quarter final exit.
He said: "I am preparing myself for doing pre-season with the team."
and Lyon want Gilberto

Agent talk is bollocks anyway.
And no George, he signed a new contract (the season before last I think) which contracts him to us until past 2010, AFAIK.
Crusad3r 05-07-2006, 12:04:PM Spanish Papers said Wenger was going to Real Madrid
Yes, everybody said that.
If Villar Mir wins elections, Wenger will come.
Villar Mir doesnt win = Wenger doesnt come.
Dont you understand that?
Yossarian 05-07-2006, 01:49:PM Did Djourou pick up an injury in that game against the OOOkranians in that group stages match? If so, how severe was it? Because he looked moderately impressive up until then, man. Like, good enough to maybe start for us and stuff.

I dont think Calderon has an agreement with anyone. BTW I belive Cesc's agent has said that Calderon has talked to Cesc's father about a possilbe move here. So noone has really contacted Cesc.
