Andrejs 05-07-2006, 11:40:AM If you guys think that players will be available cheap from Milan, Juve, then you are very wrong. They would probably want the maximum money out of their players imo to compensate for the financial loss they will experience if they get relegated. Dont expect free players :(
Not really, like Leeds few years ago, they n e e d to sell players and other clubs know their situation and won't offer a lot of money...so Milan and Juve has to sell for cheap or they won't sell at all.
Help? 05-07-2006, 05:13:PM Or they could just loan out their players for a season and then get them back once they are up in Seria A again. It's not like Milan and Juve have financial problems. And they will still have almost full stadium of fans coming to see them. There will definietly be losses, but nothing too desperate that they will need to sell off. Don't forget Leeds had 70 million pound debts, Juve and Milan don't and their stadiums are bigger too.
SlowSilver 05-07-2006, 05:14:PM The problem is, nobody see goes to see Juve as it is!

...and they'll probably end up in Serie C as well.
Hopeunited 06-07-2006, 02:12:AM I'm convinced that Ronaldo will be gone soon, and I no longer respect him all that much. He's got all the talents in the world and the richest skills, but his heart is not on the right place. He dives and moans ridiculously often, and I thought he was getting better at that, but this World Cup just proved worse. Playing with Portugal has released him back into the dirty water. He will never become a legend with his mindset. Especially now after the Rooney incident, he'll just be a cancer for the squad. Real Madrid, pay up.
Moreira_Benfica 06-07-2006, 02:15:AM o come on you guys turn on him because of that? like rooney never dives or moans at the ref.. anyways ronaldo already said after the england game rooney congragulated him and said no hard feelings so just more media BS that him and rooney hate eachother
shrekiejai 06-07-2006, 03:42:AM I don't think SAF will forgive someone for such disloyalty...
If he does, he has gone soft with age..

hmmm...still gonna get it even with the aig...is it possible to remove it w/o damaging the kit?! :$
april__29 06-07-2006, 05:49:AM to be fair the AIG logo doesnt even look that bad franklyits just that we're all used to seeing the vodafone logo, which if you remember caused a lot of grief when we switched from sharp, im sure once everyone gets used to it it wont even bother people.
as for ronalso, the guy is still young he'll learn adn i doubt we'd sell him he's one of our best players and hopefully we can get hm in the same mindset as we did beckhan after the 98 wc, you know everyone is gonna say this and this about you and no one likes you,so go prove to them just how good you are. like the game last night he was great cos you could see the booing was spurring him on the play better
shrekiejai 06-07-2006, 05:55:AM There is a fundamental difference between Ronaldo and Beckham.
Ronaldo said he want to leave. He also created quite alot of tension within the team.
Beckham did neither.
SAF probably doesnt care about how England went (he probably wants them to lose), but the other stuff that Ronaldo did may persuade SAF to sell him.

i actually like both sharp n vodafone on the kit....but the aig just kinda ruin the classic looking kit...maybe if there was no box around it, it would have been a bit better...
i'll probably buy a fake one n try to remove the logo...and if successful, might try it on the real one... :bob: lookin at the pics, seems like its just printed on the shirt...ironing it might ruin/remove the logo... (:/)
mnj2x 06-07-2006, 08:59:AM i dun think its the right time to sell ronaldo...we dun have a backup for him. Besides i m sure he will be back to the normal ronaldo after joining the squad.
ladylover 06-07-2006, 09:01:AM I hope this turns out well, he was very impressive during the WC

The kit looks very good together with the AIG logo on it, first I didn't like the size of the logo, but it fits well together with the shirt. I like it, a bit classical and simple.
Nike designed the kit in such a way that the AIG looks nice on it :)
d3adly 06-07-2006, 09:57:AM the kit looks good. its like abit classic and modern.
Crusad3r 06-07-2006, 10:16:AM what is AIG?
:google: American International Group, Inc.

i dont think so...most of the nike world cup team's kit is almost the same as the united kit...ie: brasil n portugal...
Thelonious 06-07-2006, 10:47:AM I'm not so keen , it looks really bland.
ericstarkid 06-07-2006, 12:28:PM it looks fine to me

i wouldnt mind him at all... had a very good world cup
SlowSilver 06-07-2006, 07:15:PM He plays in Turkey for a good reason you know :p
shrekiejai 06-07-2006, 11:43:PM We really shouldn't focus our transfer on the WC..
Look where the Senegals players went?
And surely Barcelona will sell Ronaldinho on the cheap, coz he was awful.
Same with Lampard, Gerrard and Rooney.
I think SAF will be focusing his attention to the Italian clubs.
So i wouldnt expect us to sign anyone until after the verdict.
