ColdPeug 25-05-2006, 04:28:PM Have we got a good rightback in sight?
Might come in handy as Zebina (He was rubbish) is leaving and Bazaretti doesn't seem good enough to me.
mark77 25-05-2006, 05:18:PM 1st welcome!
2nd, it all depends on the current situation. We were linked with Sevilla's Dani Alves and also Lazio's Massimo Oddo. I liked Blazaretti. He's a pure lefty so he's more comfortable on the left.
mark77 25-05-2006, 05:23:PM @ColdPeug Your sig is too big, please change it too 300X100. Thanks!
I haven't paid a lot of attention to what has been written in this thread the past weeks, and I'm way to lazy to look through all the posts in case my Q has been answered. But if Juve were to be relegated (which I seriously doubt), what will happen to all the players? They probably got relegation release clauses in their contracts, and I doubt many of them would want to play serie b football?
Juventino 25-05-2006, 05:55:PM I doubt they have relegation clauses at a club like Juve... but I think most of the stars must be sold anyway, because we simply cannot afford their wages in B...
However...
Marchionni: I’ll B there
Thursday 25 May, 2006
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Marco Marchionni insists he will play for Juventus next season – even if it means dropping down into Serie B.
The Turin giants netted the winger in January after it became clear that he wouldn’t be signing a new contract at Parma this summer.
And he’s today pledged his commitment to the club who may be forced to appear in the Second Division next term as a consequence of the alleged match-fixing investigation.
“I am happy that I chose Juventus,” Marchionni, who is on Italy’s stand-by list for the World Cup, said at the Azzurri’s Coverciano training base today.
“I thought long and hard about joining them and that is why I will stay there even if we are not in Serie A next term.”
Former Juve transfer guru Luciano Moggi has been placed at the centre of the investigations, but Marchionni is avoiding making any judgements.
“This is a really difficult time for him,” continued the ex-Empoli player. “I could turn out to be his last signing and I must thank him for that.”
Marchionni, a former Under-21 international, has just enjoyed a stunning last campaign at the Stadio Tardini.

:rockman: :rockman:
We would be back in no time anyway. :p
pefan 25-05-2006, 06:11:PM I am a Roma fan. But Juve in Serie B???? Italian football is getting a bit much. I think people will hate Moggi now. What was he thinking???? This just shows that anything can happen at anytime. The penalties in Italian football are really severe. So why do people do silly things???
The Zlatan song is so sweet. This kid has talent. Someone should sign him up quick!
From a Roma fan Serie A needs to stay top of the pile. Hence you need teams like Juve in top division. As much as i dont like Juve the league is being ruined. Look at Napoli, Torino and co. That was a real shame. People now want to say Serie A is no where near English league. But i think its right beside it.
ShAnDo 25-05-2006, 07:40:PM LoL the Zlatan song is so sweet.. lmao
Juventino 26-05-2006, 04:57:PM Pessotto is taking over Secco's old job as team manager, so that means he's not an active player anymore. True Juventino. :)

Pessotto is the new Team Manager!
Gianluca Pessotto is the new Team Manager of Juventus, and will replace Alessio Secco, who was recently appointed Head of Sporting Activities. The 35 year-old defender quits agonistics, but will stay with the First Team after having been one of its most valued players, outstandingly important both for his contribution on the Field and out.
Pessotto first arrived in Juventus in the 1995/96 season, and since then, has won almost everything: an Intercontinental Cup, a Champions League, a U.E.F.A. Super Cup, 6 Italian Championships and four Italian Super Cups. We wish Gianluca, nicknamed “Pesso”, to achieve as much success as our Team Manager as he did as a player.

Juventino 26-05-2006, 05:25:PM Nice edit, mark. :p The english version wasn't up yet when I posted it. :)
acedriver 27-05-2006, 12:55:AM congrats Pesso
in England, the manager is basically the person who handles everything. The general thought is Fergie.
in Italy, who exactly are Ancelotti, Capello, Mancini etc? They just coach the team then?
djperthglory 29-05-2006, 01:18:AM omg this zlatan song is better than finlands winning song at eurovision!!!!
guys today my post is to honour those who lost their lives in the heysel disaster. in most countries around the world we are into the 29th of may. this day marks 21 years since our first european cup championship win. but then again it also marks the day we lost a few of our tifosi!
rest in peace you juventini fans! we always will think of you!
OMG that song ROCKS :D (*cough* is it downloadable? :$ *cough*) . I hope zlatan will play a big role in this year's world cup and we'll be intoxicated with that song numa-numa style :D
Decided to update this thread with a bunch of news:
Capello confirms Real talks
Juventus coach Fabio Capello has admitted holding talks with Real Madrid presidential candidate Ramon Calderon.
With the presidential elections scheduled for the start of July, candidates are stepping up their attempts to attract both managers and players to their campaigns.
Real are looking for a new manager with caretaker boss Juan Ramon Lopez Caro now having departed for Racing Santander and a number of names have been linked.
Calderon is determined to try and persuade Capello commit to his project - meaning he would take over if Calderon were to win the elections - but the Italian coach insists that, while he met the presidential hopeful, he did not make any sort of agreement with him.
"It's true," Capello told the Gazzetta dello Sport when asked if he had met the Real delegation in Italy.
"They came here with Calderon, the presidential candidate, but I only listened, I did not commit myself to anyone.
"Real Madrid are interested in me, it's not the first time they have come looking for me.
"In February I had contact with Florentino Perez, before he resigned as president, but I have always repeated that I feel good as Juventus coach."
Emerson's Juve exit hint
Brazilian midfielder Emerson admits his future at Juventus looks uncertain in light of the club's current troubles.
Juve are under investigation following allegations of match fixing and it is being suggested they could be stripped of their Serie A status.
Former Roma man Emerson has admitted he would not fancy playing in the second tier in Italy and may opt to move on from Turin.
"We must wait to see what happens at the club, but I am not sure if I will stay at Juve (if the club are relegated)," said the powerful midfielder.
Emerson is widely regarded as one of the finest defensive midfielders in Europe and his comments are sure to alert a number of clubs.
Milan are rumoured to be keeping a close eye on the situation, while Real Madrid, who tried to sign the Brazilian a couple of seasons ago, are also thought to have asked to be kept informed of developments in Turin.
Thuram can't imagine relegation
France defender Lilian Thuram is concerned by the situation at Juventus.
The veteran has admitted he is surprised by the scandals dogging the Turin club as he tries to focus on the World Cup at the training camp in Tignes.
"At first, I felt surprise," he confessed. "I admit, in the beginning, I didn't pay attention to that story.
"I believed it was a kind of Italian joke.
"Then, little by little, we discovered things were not very clear.
"People talk about a possible relegation of Juventus to Serie B or Serie C.
"If I had been younger, that could have worried me a lot.
"We will wait and see, we can't do anything else anyway.
"I am a little shocked by that case. All the same, it seems incredible.
"Maybe I can't really imagine this, notably the fact that Juventus could play in Serie B."
Azzurri suffer Zambrotta scare
Italy star Gianluca Zambrotta has suffered a World Cup scare after picking up a thigh injury in a practice game.
The Azzurri were playing against an amateur side on Sunday when the Juventus left back was withdrawn due to a muscular problem.
Although he could well be fine for Italy's opening game against Ghana on June 12, Zambrotta will know more after further scans carried out at Marcelo Lippi's training camp at Coverciano.
If a thigh sprain is discovered then his World Cup hopes could be in doubt, but for the moment Zambrotta is praying for a positive diagnosis.
"Let's hope it won't be something grave," said Zambrotta.
"I've stretched my leg, the muscle didn't support it and I've suffered this problem.
"Doctor Enrico Castellacci told me to be tranquil.
"Should there be something I want to recover soon because I don't want to miss this World Cup."
If Zambrotta's worst fears are confirmed then Palermo's Fabio Grosso is likely to benefit by slipping into the left back position.
After playing Ghana, the Azzurri face USA on June 17 then Czech Republic on June 22, and Lippi will be praying his key man is given a clean bill of health.

______________
I was live at the Heysel, had (and still have) my ticket for Block Z, but somehow I ended up in block X because I wore a Liverpool scarf and the police thought I was english. I was sixteen years old. I went away before the start of the match, because I've seen the dead people lie on the empty stands and I wanted to get back asap to my parents at home to reassure them (they were following everything on TV and knew I had a ticket for the block where the wall collapsed) I was ok.
Juventus was handed the Cup as compensation for the disaster against a superior Liverpool, a penalty by Platini for an imaginary fault about 10 meters outside the box as I saw on television the day after. A cup for 39 dead people, seems like yesterday. Don't be proud on a dead mens cup, don't be proud on stolen scudetti, just be humble and think you could have been lying on those empty stands while your "friends" celebrate the title over your cold bodies. Juvergogna.

In addition they should be stripped at least two titles and rename this thread to "Coglioni d'Italia", but one must be careful on what he types on soccergaming, Juventus is cheating on the forums too, they have Moggi moderators who ban and censor the people who say the truth about the gobbi, like most of the Milan fans who wrote here, that thread has been " ethniticaly cleansed" a few months ago already.

Juventino 31-05-2006, 10:14:AM Juventus look to Baggio
Wednesday 31 May, 2006
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The legendary Roberto Baggio may have a part to play in the new Juventus, reports in Italy are insisting.
Both the Gazzetta dello Sport and Tuttosport newspapers splashed Baggio’s name across their front pages today, highlighting the possibility of a romantic return to Turin for the Divin Codino.
The Agnelli family, who are majority shareholders in the outfit, are looking to freshen up their hierarchy following the departure of the infamous Triade – Roberto Bettega, Luciano Moggi and Antonio Giraudo.
The latter were actually responsible for Baggio’s exit in the 1990s when they wouldn’t meet his wage demands for a new contract.
However, Baggio could now be on the verge of a sensational return with the Old Lady prepared to offer him the Vice-President role.
John Elkann, the nephew of Gianni Agnelli – the man responsible for Baggio’s arrival as a player, wants the legendary Italian to help restore the club’s credibility in the game after the explosion of the ‘Calciopoli’ scandal.
Baggio, according to the reports, was initially contacted before his May 20 departure for his annual hunting holiday in Argentina.
It’s understood that the one time No 10 has given his disposal to working with the Stadio Delle Alpi outfit.
The club are now awaiting his return from South America before holding more substantial talks with the former fan favourite.
Baggio has been flooded with offers from the football world since he quit the game just over two years ago.
It was believed that Inter chief Massimo Moratti was preparing to offer him a role with the Nerazzurri.

Marco Marchionni: The profile
Marco Marchionni was born on 22nd July 1980 in Monterotondo, a province of Rome. An exciting winger blessed with great dynamism and a good eye for goal, he began his career in the Monterotondo youth squad before moving to Empoli in the 1998/99 season with whom he made his Serie A debut on 31st January 1999. He spent the next two seasons playing for the Tuscans in Serie B before returning to Serie A with Parma in 2001.
After a brief spell with Piacenza in the 2002/2003 season, he returned to Parma where he became a key figure within the team over the next four years. His impressive form earned him a call-up to the National squad, and he made his debut with the Azzurri in the 3-1 victory over Poland in November 2003. In his final season with Parma he made 31 appearances, scoring 4 times and creating countless opportunities for his team mates. He was on the reserve list for a place in the 2006 World Cup squad.

Marco Marchionni is officially a Juventus player. The winger, formerly of Parma, took and passed his club medical at the Fornaca clinic and the Turin Sports Medicine Centre this morning. Having returned from training with the National squad, he was accompanied by the new Team Manager – Gianluca Pessotto.

Following the tests he made his way to the Club’s offices where he was met by the Director of Sporting Affairs, Alessio Secco: “I’m really pleased with how this season has gone” – said Marchionni – “having recovered from my knee injury I secured Parma’s Serie A status, was called-up to the National squad and am now a Juventus player. It’s an incredible feeling: to be part of a club with such a glorious history that from the first instant stunned me with their incredible organisation.”

Juventino 14-06-2006, 02:45:PM Tardelli on Juventus board
Wednesday 14 June, 2006
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Juventus “turn a new page to leave behind a sad chapter in our history” by appointing Giovanni Cobolli Gigli as the new President and Marco Tardelli to the Board of Directors.
The entire Board of Directors resigned in the wake of the Calciopoli scandal that has rocked the club, as Luciano Moggi is under investigation for alleged match-fixing and collusion with referees.
Franzo Grande Stevens and former Bianconeri legend Giampiero Boniperti will be the honorary Presidents, while ex-Juve defender Tardelli is to be a director at the club.
Patron John Elkann, the heir to the Agnelli Empire, commented on today’s key shareholders’ meeting to begin a new era for La Vecchia Signora.
“Giovanni Cobolli Gigli is a President we have faith in, as he has worked for us for many years and is able to bring us the stability Juve need at the moment.”
Cobolli Gigli is a 60-year-old head of Federdistribuzione and President of the Upim Spa supermarket chain.
Former editor of French newspaper L’Equipe, Jean Claude Blanc, is the new administrator. He organised the Tour de France and Paris-Dakar rally race for nine years and is also director general of the French Tennis Association responsible for the Roland Garros tournament.
Tardelli won five Scudetto titles, two Coppa Italia trophies, the European Cup and UEFA Cup during his playing career at Juventus, not to mention the 1982 World Cup with Italy. Following his retirement, he became a successful Coach with the Under-21 side and a brief spell at Inter.
President of the Piemonte Bank Camillo Venesio, Stefano Bertola, Carlo Sant’Albano, Riccardo Montanaro, Marzio Saà and Italy’s volleyball Coach Gian Paolo Montali are also on the Board.
The giants face a potential earthquake this summer, as allegations of match-fixing could see them docked points or even demoted to Serie B or C if found guilty.
“We are ready for every eventuality. Today we turn a new page to leave behind a sad chapter in our history,” said Elkann.
“This is an important day for us, because we want to confirm that Juventus’ story will continue. It’s a long and difficult journey ahead of us, so the support of our fans is more crucial than ever. It’s time to get to work, as on June 29 the new Board of Directors will be elected.”
There are also other changes taking place, as after 12 years at the club, Scouting Chief Francesco Ceravolo has left Juventus.
mark77 21-06-2006, 01:36:PM Blasi completes Viola loan
Wednesday 21 June, 2006
Manuele Blasi will play for Fiorentina next season after he joined the Viola from Italian champions Juventus.
The midfielder has been heavily linked with the Stadio Artemio Franchi outfit and they’ve confirmed his capture on Wednesday.
Fiorentina have netted the 1980-born player on loan for a season with an option to buy him outright in the summer of 2007.
Blasi has spent the last two seasons at Juventus, but struggled to get regular playing time under boss Fabio Capello last term.
A central midfielder of some substance, he was sometimes used as an emergency right-back during the 2005-06 campaign.
Blasi should see some regular playing time next term though given the great consideration which boss Cesare Prandelli has for him.
Prandelli coached Blasi with some success at the Stadio Tardini while the Italian international was on loan with Parma.
:( Good luck to him, though Giannichedda remains our only DM sub.

Pessotto rushed to hospital
Tuesday 27 June, 2006
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Gianluca Pessotto, the new Juventus team manager, is in a serious condition after a freak accident in Turin this morning.
Reports suggest that the former defender, who only retired from the game this summer, fell from a second floor window at the club’s headquarters in Corso Galileo Ferraris.
Pessotto has been rushed to the Molinette hospital with what, at this stage, seem to be serious injuries – even if not life threatening.
The former Torino player was only appointed as team manager this month after Alessio Secco was promoted to sporting director.
The news has also reached the Italian national team camp in Germany today. Captain Fabio Cannavaro, a teammate and friend, left a media conference this morning when told of the incident.
Pessotto spent 11 years with the outfit as a player following his move from city rivals Torino.
The full-back, who won 22 Azzurri caps, won six Scudetti with the Old Lady and the 1996 Champions League.

still the point remains, he fell out of the window, now he either had to be drunk like mad, or he jumped, or he was pushed. or maybe he just tripped somewhere and fell out. i dont know, ffs, this is f*cked up.

somehow you find this all amusing..?
Mishkin 29-06-2006, 05:58:AM Yes. :)
I can't believe how serious it is.
Suicide attempts. that's just ludicrous.
I dont think it has anything to do with the scandals.
From what I've read, its mostly because Pessotto feels that he didnt make the right decision in retiring from the game.
He feels that its much harder to work behind a desk than it is to work on the pitch.
This apparently made him depressed.
Juventino 29-06-2006, 08:32:AM Yes. :)

Pessotto 'awake and aware'
Saturday 1 July, 2006
The former Italy defender and recently appointed Juventus Team Manager has undergone three operations since he fell from the window of the club headquarters on Tuesday morning in an apparent suicide attempt.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Doctors confirmed that Gianluca Pessotto opened his eyes today and recognised his family and friends, as fans march through Turin in support.
He has been kept under an induced coma to help him through this difficult time, but was awakened by doctors this afternoon to check on his condition.
“During a window in the sedation period, Pessotto was conscious and interacted with his environment,” read the statement from the Molinette hospital. “He opened his eyes and recognised the people around him, but we need at least another week before declaring him out of danger,” added Doctor Rapellino.
Former colleagues have been rushing to his bedside to show their support, including ex-Juventus hard man Paolo Montero, who flew in especially from Uruguay.
The Bianconeri fans have also cheered on ‘Pesso’ with a march through the city centre. Some of the banners held aloft urged ‘Pesso, wake us up from this nightmare’ and ‘Like Pessotto, I fight on.’
-------------
FORZA PESSO, you can do it!
On the march, I heard Ravanelli and Carrera were there too! Awesome. Does anybody know how much Juventini were marching through Torino?

Juventino 03-07-2006, 02:55:PM So now Capello is (99%) gone, who do you guys prefer? Deschamps, Zaccheroni or Donadoni?
I think Deschamps, because I think we could use a guy with a kind personality and with a Juve history. He loves the club and thinks its an extreme honour to be the coach of Juve. We could defenitely use that in the rebuilding process. FORZA DIDIER I say
datboy 03-07-2006, 03:07:PM i got a suggestion. how about Pierluigi Collina as new coach for Juve?
seeing how "good" your relationship to referee's have been, i think that could be a winning formula! :gavin:

And if you ever need 15 million euros to keep the club afloat, Bayern will gladly take Buffon off your hands. Sure it's cheap, but if the rent on the Delle Alpi is due in a week and you don't have it, you do what you gotta do :D
But joking aside, good luck.
ladylover 04-07-2006, 03:55:PM Man I just don't understand why the peepz in the football business want more money after having an already ridiculous high income.
I hope Juve and Milan return to the Serie A as soon as possible and to the CL (if the verdict isn't positive), you are still part of Europe's elite and it would be a shame if all of that was lost just because of getting more money
JuventusForever 04-07-2006, 09:42:PM I'm actually glad to see him go.. didn't realise half of Juve's potential in these two years with this amazing squad. GL in real..

In Spain we have no idea about what really is happenning, but everytime a Italian press guy talk to us tell us that Juve will be relegated to Serie B or C for sure.

im sure most of you ac and juve fans will find new teams if they are found guilty :$
']why is everyone talking as if everything is done...? no one is relegated.
Expect the worst and you'll never be disapointed ;).
On a serious note, I don't think we'll get relegated. But if we do, I can't understand the decision of taking our last 2 scudettos away, all that work getting vanished...
JuventusForever 05-07-2006, 05:23:PM yeah i agree.. I mean f*ck the managment.. but all the players and all the hard work on the pitch for 2 years will just go away...?
Juventino 05-07-2006, 06:19:PM A relegation and taking away Scudetti will only punish the players and fans... The fans even more then the players. We don't have to feel extremely sorry for the multi-millionaires who will find new clubs and find new millions, but fans celebrated the scudetti, and some paid hundreds and hundreds of euros to buy seasontickets and tickets, travel to Italy, whatever, and know it was for nothing and it was all corrupt.
IMO they should just give the directors very heavy fines, ban them for life from football and give the club also a heavy fine, and dont let the fans and players suffer.A relegation is ridicilous in my opinion. Like Moggi and Giraudo would give a f*ck about that?
This is coming from a Juventino though. :(

Im totally agree with you, but honestly i dont think that rich guys will go to prison, they have lot of money.
F*cking the team, its an awful thing for the fans, and they doesnt deserve that, but relegating Juve is the worst punish you can do to Moggi, even better than jailing Moggi. If they relegate Juve any president in Italy will think twice before doing anything bad again. I mean if Moggi is punished nothing will happen, if what Moggi loves is punished everything will change.
BTW, what players do you think it will stay in serie B/C? I have the feeling many of that players will stay to help Juve.
Nimreitz 05-07-2006, 06:58:PM A relegation and taking away Scudetti will only punish the players and fans... The fans even more then the players. What about the fans of Inter and Roma who had to deal with the heartbreak of knowing their teams were cheated out of Scudetti and the Champions League when they were probably good enough?
Nimreitz 05-07-2006, 07:02:PM BTW, what players do you think it will stay in serie B/C? I have the feeling many of that players will stay to help Juve.
The thing is, a lot of players have wages that are enormous and the only reason Juventus can afford them is through TV revenue and prize money that they won't see any of in the Serie C. I have a feeling that quite a few players will be sold (Cammoranesi to Bayern!), but mostly guys will be loaned until Juventus get promoted back to the Serie A. For example, Buffon might move to say, Palermo on the condition that he goes back to Juventus when they can afford his wages.
Some players will stay, for example I can see Cannavaro staying since he's a little bit out of his prime and possibly done with the National Team after this World Cup, same with Thuram and some older players who are already very wealthy. I can see some of them taking pay cuts to stay at Juventus.
Juventino 05-07-2006, 07:28:PM It's so hard to say at the moment... I think the only one we can be sure about is Del Piero. Nedved also said he could be staying at Juve even in B, but he wasnt sure yet. The only ones we can be sure about leaving are the foreign stars I think... Trezeguet, Emerson, Ibrahimovic and Vieira have too much left in them for the absolute top, and wouldnt want to play in a league like Serie B, which is understandable. The gap is gigantic with Serie A. I guess that also counts for Gigi Buffon :(
I also think the squad players like Balzaretti, Giannichedda, Chiellini etc. will be either loaned out or staying with a pay-cut. I think the prospect of being able to get back in a year to Serie A will play a big part in that, also for Canna Thuram and Nedved.
But like I said its hard to say. Most players dont wanna comment on it because they're still focussing on the World Cup, or want to wait until the verdict actually has been made. So we'll see. At least Juve has alot of players walking around on loan at small Serie A teams, or Serie B teams. So Juve doesnt have to worry about not being able to field 11 men next season. Players like Palladino already said they'd even wanna play in Serie C if Juve had too. (Y)
What about the fans of Inter and Roma who had to deal with the heartbreak of knowing their teams were cheated out of Scudetti and the Champions League when they were probably good enough?
Getting accustomed to heartbreak is part of being an Inter fan
Best's_cadaver 06-07-2006, 12:27:AM Getting accustomed to heartbreak is part of being an Inter fan

Priceless man just priceless
italianstyle87 06-07-2006, 12:57:AM What about the fans of Inter and Roma who had to deal with the heartbreak of knowing their teams were cheated out of Scudetti and the Champions League when they were probably good enough?
i agree with you, but i just want to know how much of an effect the match fixing actually had...like enough to override effect of the talent and work of the players
Juventino 06-07-2006, 01:07:AM Yeah... I dont have the feeling Juve got more calls in their favour then Inter for example. They even made a DVD about how Inter got more calls in their favour this season. It's kind of sad, but still. It also cost us the Supercoppa ( a trophy is a trophy, especially against Inter :amika: )
Best's_cadaver 06-07-2006, 01:09:AM Had enough effect to alternate important games like the imfamous penalty not given to Ronaldo. It's a huge bonuss to enter the game knowing that ig you dive you will get a Pk and being almost ertain that if you couse a sure Pk it will not be given mate. Just don't make wortheless assumptions.
mark77 06-07-2006, 01:22:AM Roma gave Rolex watches to refs and got away with it so I don't care if they got cheated or not. Giving gifts to refs is sports fraud right?
The FA changed the rules for non-EU players DURING the serie A season and Roma won the scudetto with Nakata scoring against us.
Inter gave fake passports to players like Veron and Recoba. Only Recoba got suspended but not Inter. So, they played in many games with 1 or 2 extra non-EU players.
Other smaller teams got away with false budgets and some could of been demoted to serie D and nothing happened.
We haven't been caught buying refs or anybody and we're going to serie C?
Nimreitz 06-07-2006, 01:23:AM Even if it's worth 2 wins instead of 2 draws and 1 draw instead of 1 loss, that's 5 points per year. Very significant.
However looking at Juventus' tremendous gap on the competition these past few years, considering on paper they are probably about even with Inter and Milan, one has to wonder how much the refs did help. One loss this year!?!?
Best's_cadaver 06-07-2006, 01:44:AM More than 20 games are being investigated and most of them involve the old lady. How many 1-0 wins did the Juvenitini had? C'mon guys some Rolexes are nothing compared to inviting referies at your restaurant and giving 'detailed' instruction on how it should be 'done'.
Juve cheatted there is no questioning that, and the magnitude of the fraud is so that a serie C is fair and square in this case.
Milan cheated lin 86 and they were relegated, so why not Juve? Too much money at stake? Well to bad some heads have to roll. If that sounds sad Juve fans have their geometrical figure to blame: La triade.
mark77 06-07-2006, 01:52:AM With all the transcripts there's no talk between Moggi, Giraudo or other Juve management with refs about giving them "instructions".
There's Moggi talking to the ref designator and saying that this ref should ref this game, another that game....
when you look at Moggi's "suggestions", some don't match with the actual facts.
You have Moggi giving **** to Paparesta after he gave Reggina 3 points agaisnt us. Media said they locked him in the room and it's not true.
that's all they got with the thousands and thousands of hours of phone taps.
Best's_cadaver 06-07-2006, 02:00:AM Why is Moggi talking to the designator than? Too hook him up with some local prostitutes?
C'mon man be smarter than that. No official has any right to talk to the designator. And than the talking was not a friendly meeting between mates. It was about soccer, corrupted soccer. You can't possibly be asking the referies boss to hand pick the referies and run away intact.
Everyone is blaming Moggi, and not Juve.
Well Moggi was getting payed from juve and he dedicated his cheatting to make your team great, so not only Moggi deserves to rott in jail but Juve deserves every beat of what is being charged with.
mark77 06-07-2006, 02:06:AM I'm not saying we're clean and should stay in serie A with no point deduction. Every team talked to the ref designator but Moggi and Meani(talked to linesmen and pushed to have some of them for certain games) pushed the enveloppe and both teams should be punished.
To me, serie C is too much.
anyway cheers mate and it's nice to debate with someone that doesn't throw insults and crap here. (Y)

yeah, exactly the one thing I dislike about SG. damn.
Nimreitz 06-07-2006, 03:56:AM I'm not saying we're clean and should stay in serie A with no point deduction.
Will you accept that you can stay in Serie A, but get a 90 point deduction?
haha whats the whole purpose then?
mark77 06-07-2006, 04:07:AM I don't even feel like laughing about this. I wish for A with let's say -20 points but serie B seems more likely.
anyway, some people are already starting some 06-07 threads so I'll let any top poster here have a go at it. I guess it's preferable after everything gets cleared up and we know what Serie we'll play and what players we'll have. It's time that the old guard like me passes the torch to the new blood.
Nimreitz 06-07-2006, 06:20:AM On the plus side, you guys will have the first SG thread dedicated to a Third Division outfit.
Ok I'm done, promise.
Would you really start a thread? I mean, that news would just be depressing every week: "Del Piero bags 5 against Spal" "Buffon sold for 10M Euros"
do you actually know Spal or did you do some research?
Im guessing CM (H)
Anyways, things really dont look good for Juve right now. I'll leave it at that. I dont want to add the pain.
Nimreitz 06-07-2006, 06:52:AM FM/CM. I have no idea what division they are currently in.
