View Full Version : The Real Madrid Thread [2005 - 2006]
Drvar 04-06-2005, 10:53:AM Who said that?
They should be in jail right now, because that's an open, direct threat.
i meant it in a methaphorical way. Perez will be veeery hated if he lets Raul go. and the quotes part was for Raul saying that he will leave if its for the good of the team. he said that a few months ago, not now.
pullstones_jr 04-06-2005, 12:53:PM I'll consider flying to spain to get rid of perez myself if he does sell raul....does this guy give a f*ck about the fans or not?
I don't think that Perez is gonna sell Raul cause he is the captain and symbol of Real Madrid and he know that so i don't think he gonna risk of move on selling Raul.
djgperu1 04-06-2005, 02:21:PM well even if he doesnt sell Raul, i will prefer seing Owen and ronaldo starting...
NGAFOOTBALLKING 04-06-2005, 02:34:PM well even if he doesnt sell Raul, i will prefer seing Owen and ronaldo starting...
Owen should start its a must start, he had like 26 caps and like 15 goals.:jambo:
ZamundaMan 04-06-2005, 02:38:PM I bet Raul will prefer starting for Liverpool, than being on the bench for Real. Wouldn't Madrid fans want to see him go, considering he's barely had an impact over the last two season.
Drvar 04-06-2005, 03:34:PM Raul is a starter at Real, always has been, hes been here all his life. he hasnt scored alot of goals lately, but he's the one that goes back to midfield to pick up the ball, he does alot of work. hes an icon of Real Madrid, i hope he never leaves.
djgperu1 04-06-2005, 04:51:PM well i think it is time to leave everything behind and focus on the players that are havin a good moment...
we noe raul wont be in the bench if he is the captain,
and i want new ppl in our team...
mega montana 04-06-2005, 04:53:PM real madrid would have nowhere to play if they sold raul because the stadium would be burned down
he's madrid through and through...a few bad patches cant sour his outstanding career :jambo:
WilliamFAlmeida 04-06-2005, 05:00:PM it would be SO SAD if Raul left.......I would cry....well not really, but I bet someone would
Parker 04-06-2005, 05:02:PM he's madrid through and through...a few bad patches cant sour his outstanding career :jambo:
Right (Y)
Raikkonen 04-06-2005, 05:23:PM --------------Casillas--------------------subs (diego lopez)
Salgado--Ramos----Samuel--R. Carlos----subs(woody/Ivan/Pavon)
--------------Gravesen-------------------subs(Ballack/P.Garcia/Ivan)
Beckham-------Ballack-----(Jao.C.Ron)----subs(guti/zizou/solari/figo)
------------Raul----Ronaldo-------------subs(Owen/Robinho)
'subs' means subs for that(those) position(s).
Helguera in bench!?? :| :|
From TeamTalk.com
Raul linked with Reds move
omg, that was funny
becksfranksteve 04-06-2005, 05:49:PM he should never leave he is the heart and soul of real madrid
RoyIsALegend 04-06-2005, 08:13:PM He's not going anywhere.
Settle down, folks.
He visited Anfield for two reasons:
1) Congratulate Rafa Benitez on the Champions' League victory. Benitez was with Real Madrid and knows Raul well.
2) Visit his best friend, Fernando Morientes.
Raul won't leave.
Raul = Madrid's symbol
It's like saying Juve will sell DP
Even though he might have had a bad season he won't be sold (well, all the team sucked year long (6) ).
Hendrik 04-06-2005, 09:38:PM I can't see Bayern actually accepting this offer of 15 Million for Ballack.
Apparently Bayern has set the transfer fee up to 30 M which seems like a fair amount to me.
I doubt that he's gonna leave though, his agent and the club will start negotiating about a contract extension first.
datboy 05-06-2005, 11:46:AM stop worrying. Raúl will NOT leave. this is just some media crap. the interview with him that they have in the report is from right after Champions League fall out. when it came out that 3 galacticos have to leave, you know.
that's when he said, i will leave if its what's best for the team.
media act like he said this recently. such bullsh!t! :kader:
Raikkonen 05-06-2005, 04:42:PM Liverpool invited to Bernabeu Trophy (http://www.as.com/articulo.html?xref=20050605dasdaiftb_18&anchor=dasftb&type=Tes&d_date=20050605)
They would play on August 23rd, 5 days before the start of La Liga 05/06 :jap:

i hope Robinho scores today vs Paraguay :lui:
djgperu1 05-06-2005, 07:16:PM damm im glad we are playin a friendly against liverpool!!
robinho will score 2 goals today , u will c :fool:
and btw, is it true that pablo garcia is comin 2 our team??
Seven8 05-06-2005, 08:09:PM damm im glad we are playin a friendly against liverpool!!
I'm sure if Gerrard is not already transfered to Chelski or another team that pays at least 40M £ - by then - the roumours will be all over the press.
"exclusive - secret meeting between Stevie G & Real Madrid"
what midfield would that be :rockman:
Becks - Stevie G - Gravesen - Zidane
and Owen-Ronaldo upfront
Drvar 05-06-2005, 08:11:PM eh, i said this once already, Gerrard without Liverpool is half the player imho. if he wont be playing for pool, he wont be playing with that much heart, and he'll lose alot of quality.
djgperu1 05-06-2005, 09:52:PM eh, i said this once already, Gerrard without Liverpool is half the player imho. if he wont be playing for pool, he wont be playing with that much heart, and he'll lose alot of quality.
with the amount of money they would be payiin him if he moves to real, then
he will play with all his heart... :rockman:
Drvar 05-06-2005, 09:54:PM Robinho earned a penalty today, and scored a goal later, for a Brazil 4:1 win :).
he played good, but who wouldnt with such a team :p.
Raikkonen 05-06-2005, 11:06:PM Second Division B
First Leg: Zaragoza 'B' 0 - 0 Real Madrid 'B' :lui:
Second Leg, next sunday :jap:
Hey guys :ewan:
I am back unfortunately :nape:. I had a great time at the beach :hump:. I wish I could have stayed a bit longer.
I was hoping we would atleast have a signing by now, oh well. :kader:
Does anyone want to give me a quick summary about the week for Real Madrid please ?

welcome back rusi, u didnt miss much really
we have signed a player, pablo garcia the midfielder from osasuna, he will be announced after copa del rey
it's been reported madrid will go after ballack and sergio ramos
also, some other teams revealed 'interest' in robinho like arsenal, but we know where he's headed
that's about it i think
Becks is God 06-06-2005, 01:28:AM Hey do you guys think we should make a swoop for Ashley Cole now, cause i reckon he's the best Left Back in the world, we could rotate him with R. Carlos for this season and then first choice next season.
i really would like to see Cole, Robinho, ramos and a few backups arrive this season.
:rockman:
RoyIsALegend 06-06-2005, 01:58:AM Ashley Cole is black, and not a Brazilian, Spanish or Portuguese black. He's English black.
Unfortunately, he would get booed mercilessly in Madrid, have racist chants against him, and be persecuted for that exhibition game against Spain in October.
Anyways, it doesn't matter, he has said he would never want to play in Spain and especially Madrid due to racism.
ronnifan9 06-06-2005, 02:05:AM A couple things...
- Raul to Liverpool = Yeah right!!! :boohoo:
- I'm very anxious to see what # Robinho gets... :ewan:
- Owen should start, or else send him back to Liv...he doesn't deserve being tagged as a "bench"-"back-up" player. (C)
...and most importantly:
- ANY DATES, NEWS, LOCATIONS ON MADRID'S TOUR? :D
Raikkonen 06-06-2005, 02:08:AM Hey guys :ewan:

welcome back :ewan:
a quick summary? like Shakespeare said: "much ado about nothing" :jambo:
a lot of rumors, and nothing real... just some news about Pablo Garcia and the usual stuff about Robinho and Sergio Ramos.
Hey do you guys think we should make a swoop for Ashley Cole now, cause i reckon he's the best Left Back in the world, we could rotate him with R. Carlos for this season and then first choice next season.

:rockman:
impossible... too much money for a backup. :jap:

AS has a lot of news, but the only one who looks real is this:
Real Madrid would extend Beckham's contract until 2009 (http://www.as.com/articulo.html?xref=20050606dasdaiftb_23&anchor=dasftb&type=Tes&d_date=20050606)
they have some other news about Cole, Gerrard and Adriano, but the sources are The Sunday Times and TribalFootball.com
Interesting news . . .
Here are my predictions for our first team next year.
Starting XI
----------------------------------Casillas----------------------------------
Salgado/Ramos---Woodgate/Helguera----Samuel---Carlos
------------------------Helguera/Gravesen/Garcia-------------------------
Beckham----------------------------------------------------Raul/Zidane
---------------------------------Zidane/Raul----------------------
------------------------Owen----------------Ronaldo----------------------
Bench
Robinho, Ramos/Salgado, Woodgate/Helguera/Gravesen/Garcia, Guti, Solari
I really want to see what will the team be next year when all the transfer are made.
mega montana 06-06-2005, 02:55:AM oh and one more thing rusi, guti has said he wants to leave the team :(
Siawash 06-06-2005, 04:57:AM oh and one more thing rusi, guti has said he wants to leave the team :(
How has Guti been this year?
RoyIsALegend 06-06-2005, 08:40:AM How has Guti been this year?
Magnificent.
And that's regardless of which position Luxemburgo, Garcia Remon or Camacho had him play in.
He was simply magnificent all year with his tackling, incredible passing and his amazing playmaking abilities.
ronnifan9 06-06-2005, 10:49:AM oh and one more thing rusi, guti has said he wants to leave the team :(
Did you hear him say that?
Don't belive the BS! :kader:
mufc_daddy 06-06-2005, 10:55:AM Whats the situation with Minambres? Is he on loan or was he sold? If he comes back (if he was on loan) do u think he is good enough to stay at Madrid and become a regular? He's a rightback isnt he? Replace Salgado in few years??
What about Ruben? I thought he wa supposed to be the next Hierro?
Crusad3r 06-06-2005, 03:55:PM Whats the situation with Minambres? Is he on loan or was he sold? If he comes back (if he was on loan) do u think he is good enough to stay at Madrid and become a regular? He's a rightback isnt he? Replace Salgado in few years??

Miñambres, Loaned to Espanyol, where he didnt even played.
Ruben? Next Hierro????? Um...no.
mega montana 06-06-2005, 04:52:PM Did you hear him say that?

there was an interview with him in AS i think where he said he wanted to play more, which isnt going to happen if he stays in madrid
essien is close to agreeing to stay at lyon:

Rochester Rhino 06-06-2005, 08:22:PM That was a nice complimation, maybe it is telling us something.
Drvar 06-06-2005, 08:57:PM feels like a "Thank you, and good luck to wherever you go" video ;).
I liked it alot. 5 wonderful years in the best club in the world.
Figo was great during his time in Real Madrid. I just hope the best for him.

(look, the Hilton sisters) :crazyboy:
LMAO !
:funny: :funny: :funny:
Yeah, I think Juve will end up with Guti :(
No way they'll give us Emerson for him.
I agree with Roberto, I think Pablo Garcia is the kind of player we need, a fighter like Tommy
Drvar 07-06-2005, 01:27:PM looks like our super-subs are leaving us. Guti is on his way out, and now Solari is expected to sign for Inter in the next hours (thats what Marca says anyways :)). Man, the bench for next season seems ****. Offensivly we're gonna have Portillo. wow... :). Lets just hope Robinho comes, and a winger would be nice.
Parker 07-06-2005, 02:55:PM That's fu*kin' great!
Barcelona which is a champion yet sign van Bommel, Ezquerro
Real which suck second year... and what? We supposedly have Figo, Guti and Solari out.
WilliamFAlmeida 07-06-2005, 03:21:PM Does anyone have a REAL Figo compilation. That was a nice video, but it didnt show his game. Im looking for something nice on Figo. Let me know...
Seven8 07-06-2005, 03:29:PM That's fu*kin' great!
Barcelona which is a champion yet sign van Bommel, Ezquerro
Real which suck second year... and what? We supposedly have Figo, Guti and Solari out.
Van Bommel - that wonderful player was on a bosman-free...(probably all other clubs were in their winter sleep)
true - if these 3 players go - reinforcements are needed urgently
all that "maybe" go-ers are midfielders....
who's left then: Becks, Zidane, Gravesen...ev Helguera
who went/goes: Celades, Figo, Guti, Solari
It is sad to see Santi leave which is probably what will happen within the next couple days.
He deserves more playing time which is something he isn't getting at Real Madrid. Atleast we re-signed him during the season or else he would be leaving on a free-transfer.
If both Guti and Santi leave we'll really have to buy 6 players like it was reported earlier. I hope Guti stays though.
Marca also says that Inter want Samuel too. :nape: We must keep Walter, he showed his class in the second half of the season. I don't understand why we would sell him.
Lastly, is anyone else pissed that Patetico got a great coach in Carlos Bianchi. :nape:
Drvar 07-06-2005, 03:56:PM yeah, read that today, probably Riquelme going there now too. but we have Luxemburgo :D.
Parker 07-06-2005, 04:03:PM Van Bommel - that wonderful player was on a bosman-free...(probably all other clubs were in their winter sleep)
Yeah, I know...and that's another reason why it's great sign.
Barca have great van Bommel for free, we will have Pablo Garcia for 8-10 mln Euro(from what I read) :nape:
Lastly, is anyone else pissed that Patetico got a great coach in Carlos Bianchi. :nape:
Long time ago I want to see Bianchi in Real.
From what I remember we even want to engage him but he refuse. And he's in Patetico now..fu*k him
Drvar 07-06-2005, 04:06:PM its not important who they sign. and we signed what we needed, while barca signed 2 players while already having that position full. just wait till the end of the transfer window, its been like a week.
mega montana 07-06-2005, 04:49:PM damn i will be really sad if we lose guti and solari, i really like both those guys :nape:
Raikkonen 07-06-2005, 05:39:PM ******* ****!!! :kader:
Celades, Cesar, Guti, Samuel, Figo and Solari out?!?!?!?
and according to Marca, Floren wants either Baptista or Ballack ( both :sb9:, i prefer Guti & Solari :nape: )
It is sad to see Santi leave which is probably what will happen within the next couple days.
He deserves more playing time which is something he isn't getting at Real Madrid. Atleast we re-signed him during the season or else he would be leaving on a free-transfer.

Lastly, is anyone else pissed that Patetico got a great coach in Carlos Bianchi.
Solari is such a good player, now his career is soon-to-be-ruined by Inter :(
don't you remember 2003 summer? we sold/loaned/released like 8 players (Makelele, McManaman, Celades, Morientes...) and we bought one (Beckham)... and we all know what happened next :(
this looks bad, really, really bad. we won't find another 6 players as good (or cheap) as the ones we had. :kader: and Luxemburgo wants a lot of brazilian players we CAN'T have (non-EU players).
Bianchi will have another euro-fiasco at Atletico. He already failed (miserably) coaching Roma. Atletico needs to sell Torres, their stadium and all their ****ty players, and then, build a new team, to be successful again :ewan:
Parker 07-06-2005, 06:26:PM Perez once again think that get rid of many player, and buying one or two 'galactico' will fix everything? He try it two times and it give as only problems. We have many players which needs to be change or cover (Beckham, Zidane, R. Carlos, Salgado, Gravesen)
Will Perez ever learn something from his own mistakes?
We're heading to another great year of succes for Real madrid :) (6)
Man I can't wait for the Liga to start... :p
Drvar 07-06-2005, 06:37:PM vitu, next year we'll meet in the finals, and destroy you :D. and Barca is gonna be fielding 4 offensive midfielders next season i guess, should be fun ;).
djgperu1 07-06-2005, 06:38:PM i dont want guti to go....
but i think he wants to though, cuz he doesnt get enough playin time...
but if we buy really good players, then there is no problem about it. :hump:
ballack, or gerrard will be a good deal!!
i dont want guti to go....
but i think he wants to though, cuz he doesnt get enough playin time...
but if we buy really good players, then there is no problem about it. :hump:
ballack, or gerrard will be a good deal!!
Problem is that we need players like Guti and Solari for us to succeed.
A team with all superstars will never succeed.
It will be terrible if things don't change.
Raikkonen 07-06-2005, 06:45:PM Barca is gonna be fielding 4 offensive midfielders next season i guess, should be fun ;).
at least they'll have 4 offensive mid :( :(
we'll have only 2 in the whole squad: Zidane (32) and Beckham (30). no backups, no youth, nothing! :nape:
i dont want guti to go....
but i think he wants to though, cuz he doesnt get enough playin time...
but if we buy really good players, then there is no problem about it. :hump:
ballack, or gerrard will be a good deal!!
Ballack: +20m
Gerrard: 40m
too much :nape:
it looks horrible... i hope those news are all fake :(
Drvar 07-06-2005, 06:49:PM damn, its only like the first week. dont die on me now ;). by the end of the summer, we'll be where we want to be. we have 160 million to spend or how much, and even if we dont spend it all, we can buy 5 world-class players with that. and we dont even need world-class players.
I know its a shame about Guti and Solari, they've helped the team when they needed them, and are perfect for the squad. i just find it ridiculous to get all pissed now, before we made any moves.
i dont want guti to go....

I thought that only Florentino had these kind of ideas.. :nape:
Guti and Solari shouldn't be sold, but wait It's Real Madrid :chew:

ForzaNerrazurri 07-06-2005, 06:55:PM Solari :shades:
another Argentinian will probably be added to our squad :)
Raikkonen 07-06-2005, 07:02:PM damn, its only like the first week. dont die on me now ;). by the end of the summer, we'll be where we want to be. we have 160 million to spend or how much, and even if we dont spend it all, we can buy 5 world-class players with that. and we dont even need world-class players.

oh, wait, when did i hear that before? yes, last summer! and the summer before! and the summer before that! :(
we won't spend 160m, we have the money, but Floren isn't so stupid to spend it all.
ok, if Guti, Solari and Figo leave, who should replace them?? we can't buy world class players, because we would have to bench some 'galacticos' (Zidane, Beckham, Raul, Owen, Ronaldo or Robinho). and to buy 'backups' would be dumb: we already have the backups, but we're selling them! :nape:
It's true that's only the first week, but Valencia already signed Kluivert and Edu, Barcelona signed Van Bommel and Ezquerro, Atletico has a new coach, Betis got Regueiro, etc... we only have a ****load of rumors :( and instead of buying, we are selling :(
imo: :f***: :f***: :f***:
Drvar 07-06-2005, 07:31:PM patience, my friends :). its not Florentino's job to do the signings anymore, we have Sacchi now :).
Parker 07-06-2005, 07:33:PM And I remember when we try to sign Alaya in LAST day of transfer window. :nape:
So I rather like to see new player as fast as it's possible, than hear again: we try to buy someone but we miss.
Maybe we panic to much :) but after 2 years with nothing this is understandable.
mega montana 07-06-2005, 07:43:PM its still so early to start complaining, plus i have more faith with sacchi and luxemborgo on board, hopefully sr. perez will listen to them :jambo:
if solari does leave, good luck to him, i've always enjoyed watching him play
Raikkonen 07-06-2005, 07:51:PM patience, my friends :). its not Florentino's job to do the signings anymore, we have Sacchi now :).
the way i see it:
- Florentino wants world-class/shirt-sellers (Robinho, Gerrard, Ballack)
- Luxemburgo wants brazilian players (Luisao, Robinho, Alex... even Maldonado, who isn't brazilian, but he plays in the brazilian league)
- Sacchi wants Serie A players (De Rossi, Cassano, Gilardino, Pizarro, Mancini, Emerson)
- Butragueño wants spanish players (Del Horno, Sergio Ramos, Joaquin)
Luxemburgo asks for a player, Sacchi makes the deal, Butragueño is the assistant/consultant and Perez takes the final decision.
And I remember when we try to sign Alaya in LAST day of transfer window. :nape:
So I rather like to see new player as fast as it's possible, than hear again: we try to buy someone but we miss.
Maybe we panic to much :) but after 2 years with nothing this is understandable.
(Y) exactly. The 'world' tour starts on July 14th (Chicago). We MUST have at least 2 new players (3, with Robinho, if we finally sign him) by then. If we just have one signing, i'll panic
Florentino, you have one month : sign or die :jambo:
:crazyboy:
ronnifan9 07-06-2005, 08:07:PM Realistically...*sorry if I burst your bubble* (H)
Signed: P.Garcia
Our "for sure" signings: Robinho, S.Ramos
Our "long shot" signings: Joaquin or CR7, CM??? (Gerrard,Ballack,Maldonado,???)
A grand total of 5 signings this summer. :jambo:
Sergio Ramos is not a 'for sure' signing
Garcia is, Robinhois close to for sure, not Ramos...yet
We need a young, talented RM that is willing to sit on the bench and play as a Sub. WE don't have a good back-up for Becks
RoyIsALegend 07-06-2005, 08:20:PM Forget Joaquin and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Honestly.
You're setting yourselves up for some major disappointment if you're expecting us to sign either of them.
Oh, and Sergio Ramos, is far, far, far from a "for sure" signing. Hell, Sevilla has said that Real Madrid is _NOT_ one of the three clubs to actually put forth a real offer for him. Madrid is one of the many, many clubs "interested" in him, but only three teams have actually tabled bids over to Sevilla.
Crusad3r 07-06-2005, 08:24:PM I would like:
Sell Guti, Figo, Solari, Celades, Samuel
Buy Pablo Garcia, Baptista, Joaquin, Sergio Ramos.
I think we could get Joaquin to come if we guaranteed him a starting spot on the right wing, but with Beckham out there I don't think he will want to come.
We aren't getting C. Ronaldo for atleast 1 more year if we ever get him.
I would like:
Sell Guti, Figo, Solari, Celades, Samuel
Buy Pablo Garcia, Baptista, Joaquin, Sergio Ramos.
Why do you want Baptista ?
I don't get why we are rumored for him.
Also, I think we should keep either Guti or Solari, hopefully Guti
ronnifan9 07-06-2005, 08:32:PM I would like:
Sell Guti, Figo, Solari, Celades, Samuel
Buy Pablo Garcia, Baptista, Joaquin, Sergio Ramos.Thats insane dude. Baptista replacing Guti?! Samuel leaving... :nape:
I agree with RUSI on CR7, but we all know Florentino...I guess sooner or later he'll be wearing a Madrid jersey. (6) ...unless Guti, and Solari leave (both on left side) CR7 could see average playing time. and that means a sh*tload of money!!! :lui:
mega montana 07-06-2005, 09:37:PM sergio ramos is far from a sure signing
also, sacchi is not interested in just serie a players, he is the one that picked out gravesen and has also scouted sergio ramos
edit: ronnifan9, why do u have a barca player above your name, i know he's mexican but still... :-puke:
RoyIsALegend 07-06-2005, 09:47:PM I personally feel that BOTH of Guti and Solari need to stay.
I have no worries that both of them will, anyhow. Guti is our 2nd captain, Madridista to the core and will stay... and Santi just got a contract extension and says he loves being with Madrid irregardless of his playing role.
I suspect they'll both be key figures in Luxemburgo's rotation of midfielders next season in hopes of keeping the likes of Zidane and Raul fresh. The insertion of Robinho into this rotational system would add excitement, youth and much-needed creative dribbling while actually incorporating _SPEED_! I definitely think Madrid needs speed badly and Robinho will offer this.
Pablo Garcia will add much needed reinforcement in the defensive midfield position, thus allowing Guti to probably play a more attacking role when he comes on. Is Woody can actually be healthy to start the season, I'd suspect we'd see Helguera slot into the midfield as well. This is likely where I hope Luxemburgo incorporates a two DM/CM system.
We could have phenomenal choices to go with as a 2 DM/CM system:
Helguera - Gravesen
P.Garcia - Helguera
Gravesen - Beckham
Gravesen - P.Garcia :p (they'd kill opponents)
Beckham - Helguera
I'd like to see us incorporate two DMs/CMs and then have two 'attacking' midfielders. In such a role, the likely rotation could be:
Robinho - Zidane
Solari - Guti
Zidane - Solari
Guti - Robinho
Robinho - Solari
Zidane - Guti
I'd be confident with any of these pairings there.
Then, at striker, you go with:
Raul to start the game for 45-60 mins, then Owen
Ronaldo
I think this would work well as Owen can benefit from attacking tired defenses and Raul remains our captain, starts the games, and gets a good amount of time to produce. Owen has failed miserably in the games he has started anyhow, so this would work much better. Of course, Ronnie goes for the full 90 mins. as he's just too good.
In my ideal starting XI, I'd go with:
------------------Casillas------------------
---------Woodgate------Samuel------------
--Salgado-----------------------R.Carlos---
---------------------Gravesen-------------- (or P.Garcia)
-------Beckham---------------------------- (or Helguera)
-----------------------------Zidane-------- (or Solari/Guti)
------------Robinho------------------------ (or Guti/Solari)
-------------------------Raul--------------- (or Owen)
------------------Ronaldo------------------
I've chose to put each of the midfielders/strikers on individual lines to get the point across of their preferred roles. Beckham would be able to push out right for his crosses whilst attacking, but can also contribute defensively as we all know he will do no matter what we may want/think. Zidane has somewhat of a free role on the central/left side, while Robinho is a central attacking midfielder. Raul slots up front, but also comes back alot to help that left side where Zidane/R.Carlos is. This is the reason Gravesen is there to ensure a solid DM presence. Ronaldo of course is the most pushed up as he's our most lethal threat.
What do you guys think?

just teasing man, rafa is a great player, too bad he is stuck in barcelona ;)
Marquez is one of the best mexican player they got but like they said too bad he play in Barcelona.
Raikkonen 08-06-2005, 01:41:AM ok, now that i'm more calmed:
Chapter I: Who's out?
Out
César
Celades (both already out)
Figo
Guti or Solari (not "and"... or!)
On Loan (or to RM B, if they win the promotion to Segunda)
Borja
Portillo
Mejía
Arbeloa
Chapter II: Lineup
assuming that we will sign Robinho, P. Garcia and S. Ramos (we should get them, sooner or later), my dream line-up would be:
1)
------------ Casillas ------------
Salgado - Helguera - Samuel - RC
----------- Gravesen -----------
---- Beckham --------- Raúl ----
------------ Robinho ------------
------ Owen ------ Ronaldo -----
Bench
Diego Lopez (GK)
Sergio Ramos
J. Woodgate (remember, i'm dreaming (6) )
F. Pavon
P. García
Z. Zidane (yes! on bench :jambo: )
Juanfran
Guti or Solari (whoever stays... we must keep one of them)
R. Bravo :-puke: (unless S. Ramos could play LB...)
Javi García
Jurado or Soldado
2) (more probable)
------------ Casillas ------------
Salgado - Helguera - Samuel - RC
----------- Gravesen -----------
---- Beckham ------- Zidane ----
-------------- Raúl -------------
----- Ronaldo ------ Robinho -----
Bench
the only change is: Owen out / Zidane in
22-23 players: ok. but it doesn't look too much better than the squad from last season
Chapter III: The Backups
if Luxa keeps the diamond:
Positions / Players / My Opinion
GK: Casillas and Diego López (ok, but Lopez is too unexperienced)
RB: Salgado and S. Ramos (ok)
RCB/LCB: Helguera, Samuel, Pavón, Woody, R. Bravo and S. Ramos (great)
LB: R. Carlos, R. Bravo and S. Ramos (ok)
RW: Beckham and Juanfran (!)
CDM: Gravesen, Guti (?), Helguera and Pablo García (good)
LW: Guti and/or Solari, Zidane, Raúl (good... maybe Robinho could play as LW again)
CAM: Guti (?), Zidane, Raúl and Robinho (ok, but it would be better if Guti stays)
FW: Raúl, Ronaldo, Robinho, Guti (?) and Owen (great)
unless Juanfran gets a LOT of experience in the U-20 World Cup, we will need another RW.
:jambo:
ronnifan9 08-06-2005, 02:25:AM Nice stuff, Raiko...but I though Juanfran was on his way to Zaragoza. Ramos can play RM. Zizu on the bench, I don't agree. -Lineups will alwasy be changing 'cause of Red Card, Suspensions, and Injuries...so everybody should get plenty of playing time.

Ballack is the main target (http://www.as.com/articulo.html?d_date=20050608&xref=20050608dasdaiftb_15&type=Tes&anchor=dasftb)
Gerrard is impossible, so we'll try to sign Ballack... but we wouldn't pay more than 15m euros (damn, AS stole my ideas! i already said that in the last post!)
120 millions for signings (http://www.as.com/articulo.html?xref=20050608dasdaiftb_20&anchor=dasftb&type=Tes&d_date=20050608)

The negotiation to renew Helguera's contract hasn't started yet :nape:. He wants to stay, and Sacchi wants him to stay. as a bonus, the article ends with the classic "the club isn't happy with Samuel/Samuel would leave" stuff
If we could pay 15 million to get Ballack I am all for it. He is a great player (Y)
I think we defiantely need a cover for Beckham on the RW because I don't think Juanfran can. Also, If Ramos doesn't come we should buy atleast 1 back-up full-back.
I pray for 2 things:
- that our players will not be too dissapointed if they do not start every match.
- that we sell Raul Bravo. :ewan:
djgperu1 08-06-2005, 04:55:AM 120 million is alot of money

Also Woodgate will be ready next year, so we have to count on him..
Parker 08-06-2005, 08:23:AM Madrid discards Joaquín sign
Much has been inspected on Joaquín's possible sign by Real Madrid, but the true thing is that the technical reports of the director of football, Arrigo Sacchi, and of the vice-president, Emilio Butragueño, they have discarded the sign for this period of the Andalusian mid-field player. Though Vanderlei Luxembourg has spoken good of Joaquín, in the club it is understood that it is a pure end and that the Brazilian technician has already given clear samples of which he does not like this type of football players.

and if Solari and Guti leave. (i hope not) i would be very sad.
but i think it's just bullsh!t. let's hope it is.

hahaha (6) the only time we need a Bayern fan in RM Thread, we can't find it.
Baptista can play in a lot of positions, is a great player for Madrid but i think is non EU player whos going out?
Baptista will receive his citizenship soon (July, i think), he won't be a non-EU player.
He can play in a lot of positions, but in those positions, we have better players :jap: and we don't want his enormous ego at Real Madrid.
mega montana 08-06-2005, 07:42:PM i think ballack plays more in the middle, either right behind the strikers, or he can play as a defensive midfielder in the diamond formation
as much as i like baptista, we dont need him, i'd rather get his sevilla teammate, sergio ramos
Crusad3r 08-06-2005, 08:47:PM I dont know why Baptista is so under-rated, his stats are:
19 goals (3 penalties) in 33 matches. In La Liga, being the best offensive player of Sevilla. 19 goals in 33 matches maybe are the best stats of any player in any european league knowing he was not playing as 1st forwards, and sometimes not even playing as 2nd forward, but playing as offensive midfielder.ç
He is 24 years old, and it played as defender until one year ago, now as offensive player he is showing he is amazing!
I believe he is so underrated cause he is not the usual line-up of Brazil. Where he must compete against Kaka or Ronaldinho.
Lets see the stats of Ronaldinho in La Liga:
9 Goals (2-3 penalties) in 35 matches, and throwing every single free kick. Playing as Offensive midfielder, only behind Etoo, sometimes also Giuly.
becksfranksteve 08-06-2005, 09:00:PM We need to get robinho as soon as possible and owen for reyes :kader:
Pizarro14 08-06-2005, 09:01:PM Here is a quick info on Ballack
yes he is best at playing the middle, He can also play a DM role which is why i admire Ballack. He doesn't care about playing in the DM role to help out in the middle to win the midfield battles. He can also play in the offensive side which he is also great at (ex: Heading, Passes, shooting). His attitude is great too he always sticks up for his teammates and isn't afraid of anyone. I wouldn't say he loves to start sh!t but he can sometimes get in to little or even strong virbal words. But outside of football he never gets introuble, He is a Player who never gives up. If u want to put him next to Graveson on the team. It would be good for u guys. call them the bash brothers :p, I don't want bayern to sell Ballack but for the right price he can be urs :)
(*this info is coming from a fan outside Germany :p I know Vince will probably give more details about ballacks but what i have seen in the CL and Bundesliga games I always been impressed with Ballack)

i'm just guessing, because...
# / Player
1. Casillas
2. Salgado
3. R. Carlos
4. ? (Borja could be loaned)
5. Zidane
6. Helguera
7. Raul
8. ?
9. Ronaldo
10. ? (Figo  will he leave? will he stay?)
11. Owen
12 or 13. Diego Lopez (GK)
14. Guti
15. R. Bravo
16. Gravesen
17. ? (Portillo could be loaned too)
18. Woodgate
19. Samuel
20. ?
21. Solari
22. Pavon
23. Beckham
24. Mejía
25. ? (Third GK?)
in La Liga, the players can't wear a number higher than 25.
and even if Figo leaves, NO WAY Robinho would wear #10. He has to earn it first :jap:
5 - Zidane
yeah, but he chose that number because it was the only one available between the 1 and 11 (Sanchis, who used to wear that shirt, retired one season before Zizou came to R. Madrid)
Ballack definitely cannot play on the wing like a RW does, but he can definitely play as a RCM, but this spot is occupied by Beckham anyhow.
thx :jap: so, he could replace Beckham in that position, if the english is suspended or injured :D
Crusad3r 10-06-2005, 02:16:AM Number 10 for Ballack!
Raikkonen 10-06-2005, 02:26:AM Number 10 for Ballack!
seriously? i thought spanish people wouldn't want Ballack
4 -> Ramos?
8 -> Robinho?
10 -> Ballack?
20 -> P. García?
Nimreitz 10-06-2005, 04:00:AM thx :jap: so, he could replace Beckham in that position, if the english is suspended or injured :D
No, Ballack can't play on the wing, or even as a RCM, he is strictly in the middle. Why even buy him to play out of position or back up Beckham? He should be playing right smack dab in the center of the midfield every day. Back far enough to play defense (because his D is pretty good), but up far enough so he can get involved on offense and most importantly get his head at crosses. He's a tank, he can (and should) play every single game.
Ballack won't wear your ****ty #10, he wears #13. Please don't buy my favorite player from my favorite club and my second favorite national team fellas. I don't want to buy a Madrid jersey :(
EDIT: Oh yeah, and he'll immediately shoot up to second most attractive member of the Real Madrid team. What a handsome man.

If Ballack comes, he'll wear 13. What if Owen wanted the # 10 :o
oussimoes 10-06-2005, 09:09:AM So the robinho deal is done thats great. By the way brazilian player that have RO in the name are always great like ROnaldo,Robinho,ROnaldinho an ROberto carlos and ROmario so i hope he will be the next player to come in this line.
this is my line up for next year:
--------------Casillas------------- the subs: Guti,solari,portillo,raul,helguera
---------Woodgate--Samuel-------- lopez, Ramos and bravo
--Salgado-----------------Carlos--
--------------Gravesen-----------
----Beckham-------------Zidane--
----------------------------------
----Owen----Ronaldo----Robinho
If we done this it will be great and we must be champions next year.
Seven8 10-06-2005, 09:29:AM this is a line up for next year which I'd like.
(if Ramos & Robinho comes, Woodgate is fit and Figo stays)
--------------Casillas--------------
-Ramos-Woodgate-Helguera-Carlos-
--------------Gravesen------------
--Beckham----Zidane--Robinho/Figo-
---------Owen-----Ronaldo---------
subs: Salgado, Samuel, Guti, Solari, Raul & Figo/Robinho
PETITION give Becks #7,17 or 10
oussimoes 10-06-2005, 09:36:AM My line up is much better and by the way nobody gives garcia and sub place or a line up place! is he so ugly?

because Gravesen is better. :ewan:
some news:
MILAN REJECT PIRLO/GUTI SWAP (http://www.sportinglife.com/football/overseas/spain/news/story_get.dor?STORY_NAME=soccer/05/06/10/manual_081737.html&TEAMHD=spain)
UNITED LEAD OWEN RACE (http://www.sportinglife.com/football/overseas/spain/news/story_get.cgi?STORY_NAME=soccer/05/06/10/manual_064553.html)
and did anyone see R6 goal against Argentina?? what a canon!! :O
Seven8 10-06-2005, 12:53:PM Gravesen is indeed a very underrated player (appart from Everton and now Real Madrid) where we know him now.
Saw Roberto Carlos goal = rocket
Drvar 10-06-2005, 01:37:PM Roberto Carlos's goal was ******* amazing. You just cant save a shot like that :).
Raikkonen 10-06-2005, 05:53:PM why the **** would Real Madrid sell Owen, Samuel and Solari??
for the first time in, i don't know, 4 years?, we were between the top3 teams with less goals allowed... and now they want to replace Samuel with Ramos. if we sell Samuel, and Ramos ends up being a big flop (like Mejia), i wouldn't know what do to: to cry, to laugh or both. what really piss me off is that all the newspapers are asuming that Woodgate will be 100% fit for next season. come on! the man hasn't play a professional match since march 2004. i don't care if Samuel receives a yellow in every game, i prefer him over Woodgate or Pavon (let's not talk about Mejia and Bravo, PLEASE). besides, if we're after Ramos because we need a backup, it would be stupid to sell a starter! we would need another backup (Woodgate won't last two months healthy)!
about Owen, 16m euros???? this MUST be a joke. the "midget" :crazyboy: has been amazing this season, he scored more goals than Raul and Zidane together, playing half of the time, giving us crucial wins (Albacete, Valencia, Dynamo...), and if Floren wants to make a "clean" Owen-Reyes swap, he must be on drugs. imo, Owen = Reyes + at least 5-10m. Jose can stay crying in London (H)
Solari... eh, this deal wouldn't be bad, Guti would have more chances, we would get cash and maybe (i wish) an option over Adriano. but if they want to replace him with Baptista... :nope. Baptista is so overrated, and he would come only because he loves money. Solari has said a hundred times he loves Real Madrid, and he has showed an incredible commitment with the team.
final words: Milan wants a Guti-Pirlo swap??? muahaha, i can write better BS than that.
PS. Portillo to Zaragoza on loan, almost confirmed. Villa would move to Valencia because Kluivert didn't pass the medical test
I agree 100%, man
I really hope what the papers are writing is not what the club really thiks because it is f*cking stupid.
I have no idea why we would want to sell Samuel and Owen !!! :f***:
From Mundo Deportivo, A Barcelona Newspaper.
Pablo Garcia fo 7.5 million (http://www.elmundodeportivo.es/20050610/NOTICIA197582328.html)
We have signed Pablo Garcia for 7.5 million and it will be official after the Copa del Rey final.
Sorry for the triple post but I can't get my mind off of this sh*t. :nape:
We can't change the team too much or else it will take half of the season for the players to get used to eachother (such as Barça two years ago).
Get 4 players at the most ! - Sergio Ramos, Pablo Garcia, Robinho, Michael Ballack/Joaquin
Why not ?!
That's about 70-80 million euros in transfers. We have over 120 million to spend.
Why would we want to sell Owen and Samuel, we'd have to get replacements for them too which isn't neccessary.
Portillo almost loaned (http://www.as.com/articulo.html?d_date=20050610&xref=20050610dasdasftb_6&type=Tes&anchor=dasftbA00)
Figo negociating with Lyon (http://www.as.com/articulo.html?xref=20050610dasdasftb_3&anchor=dasftb&type=Tes&d_date=20050610)
F*ck this article ! (http://www.as.com/articulo.html?xref=20050610dasdaiftb_7&anchor=dasftb&type=Tes&d_date=20050610)
Roberto Carlos's goal was ******* amazing. You just cant save a shot like that :).
Buffon.. :jambo:
Raikkonen 11-06-2005, 01:32:AM Buffon.. :jambo:

mmm... a very, very interesting article in AS
Michael Owen for Cristiano Ronaldo (http://www.as.com/articulo.html?xref=20050611dasdaiftb 16&anchor=dasftb&type=Tes&d date=20050611)
but the woman who wrote it is the same one who apologized to Figo (http://www.as.com/articulo.html?xref=20050512dasdaiftb_20&type=Tes&d_date=20050512&anchor=dasftb) for writing a "rumor" about him (http://www.as.com/articulo.html?xref=20050506dasdaiftb_8&type=Tes&d_date=20050506&anchor=dasftb)
if this is true, what do you people think? good or bad deal? i really, really don't know what to say (and that's weird, you know? :crazyboy: )
and there are some other articles: Cesar will sign for Zaragoza, and Portillo would be loaned there...
mega montana 11-06-2005, 02:41:AM i dont want c. ronaldo, especially for michael owen :nape:
Drvar 11-06-2005, 08:22:AM C. Ronaldo is an excellent player, but i dont know how he would do in the spanish league. imho, if we sign him, its going to be a good move, especially if Owen goes the other way. Look at it this way, Zidane said he doesnt want to play left wing. So we go back to Raul/Ronaldo in attack, Zidane or Robinho behind them, C.Ronaldo left wing, Beckham right wing. would be good :). the only problem is, Luxemburgo doesnt like wingers that much :).
Seven8 11-06-2005, 10:05:AM C. Ronaldo is an excellent player, but i dont know how he would do in the spanish league.
he played in portugal so the addaption to LaLiga wouldn't be a problem at all.
is RM coming to Austria or Switzerland again this summer for a short training camp?
datboy 11-06-2005, 11:32:AM I think that Michael Owen for Cristiano Ronaldo would be a great deal!
we know Luxa wants C. Ronaldo so this could very well be true. i mean Ronaldo is 19 yrs old and one of the best wingers in the Premiership. i think he's 2nd best, after Arjen Robben.
if he signs for us he should have #10 :rockman:

The Copa del Rey Final is today... no one is going to broadcast it, because they had some problems with the tv rights :kader: (the owner asked too much $$$). No matter who wins it, Pablo Garcia's signing would be announce tomorrow (6)

ZIZOU = GOD
Wrong, Maradona is the best player ever.
nah, Zidane is better than Maradona ever was imo.
the way that he plays almost seems effortless... that's why he's so amazing. He just has so much self-confidence and skill that he can just glide past anyone.
Have you ever seen Maradona play ?
What you just said can be said double about Diego Armando Maradona.
maybe it's because i'm English and i think he's a cheating f'ucker. But i still think that Zidane is the better player out of the two.
And yes i have seen Maradona play, not live or anything as i am too young but i have watched numerous amounts of games with him involved from my parent's archives.
mega montana 11-06-2005, 07:47:PM both are great, but i think maradona is better, even if he did play for barca (6)
zizou is the best of his generation
i cant wait to watch the copa del rey final to get an idea of what pablo garcia can do
Paulo Da Silva 11-06-2005, 07:54:PM who is pablo garcia?
Yeah, Pablo was a doubt, but he's starting.
He's a CDM of Osasuna who will sign for Madrid soon, very physical player. Lots of yellows (6)
Paulo Da Silva 11-06-2005, 08:03:PM do u think he is Real Quality?
He isn't a superstar a la Gerrard or Vieira but we have enough superstars. Pablo Garcia is a very good midfielder though. He's a lot like Gravesen.
datboy 11-06-2005, 09:25:PM im happy that players like P. Garcia get signed. the guys who do the dirty work is always needed and he's gonna be a great back-up for Tommy. :)
datboy 11-06-2005, 09:46:PM £10million plus Michael Owen in exchange for Cristiano Ronaldo
the question is, will Man United accept? (6)
Drvar 11-06-2005, 09:48:PM i understand this would be a good move for us, but how would it be a good move for United? they have like 5 strikers on the team now already. C. Ronaldo really deserves a better contract tho :).
datboy 11-06-2005, 09:55:PM your right, Drvar. for them, this wouldn't be the best deal, but it's strange that they haven't offered Cristiano a new contract yet. man, i get hyped now about this deal. he would be the perfect Figo replacement. :)
Andrejs 11-06-2005, 10:04:PM Well, I hope it's not going to happen offcourse. We do have too many strikers and if we would get another, I don't think the fans would like (well i would'nt like) an ex-Liverpool player anywhere near Man United. Fergie and Carlos both admire C.Ronaldo and they wont let the board leave him just like that. I know that Owen is class and Ronaldo is still young, but Owen + £10 mil is a joke. Cristiano is underpayed and with Glazer and hes debts coming to the club, the contract negotations have freezed, but hopefully the deal will be done soon. There are rumours about we having to sell our top players but it would'nt make too much sense.
Try to get Joaquin instead :(
mega montana 11-06-2005, 10:14:PM i dont get all the owen rumors, i think he'll stay, he impressed me last year

Joaquin to Barça: 20m euros :-puke:
imo, for Real Madrid, Joaquin > Henry >>>>>>> Baptista
the next season looks bad, very bad. 1 month for the beginning of the world tour and NO signings yet, and the rumors are all about players we don't need at all
datboy 13-06-2005, 03:45:PM ok, now that doesn't make any sense at all. why would Joaquín leave Real Betis when they just won Kings Cup and are qualified for CL next season? and to Barcelona?!? if his dream is to play for Madrid he should never go there. :kader:
Yeah, I forgot to post that.
That would be some of the worst news of the summer if Joaquin went to Barcelona.
We have to stop Joaquin from goingto Barca, I don't carehow much we spend.
It would be terrible if Barca acquired him.
Raikkonen 13-06-2005, 04:30:PM this doesn't make any sense: if Betis would sell Joaquin in 20m euros, why don't we buy him?? :nape:
i agree that his dream is to play in Real Madrid, but if Real Madrid don't want him, it isn't Joaquin's fault. He has been amazing this season. if we end up with Henry or Baptista (or both!) and Joaquin goes to Barça, i will be really mad :kader:
besides, Joaquin isn't as cocky or overrated as them , and he's spanish! if we are going to sell Guti, and loan Portillo and Borja (and Cesar and Celades already gone), we'll need more spanish players in the team :jambo:
i really hope Floren won't do anything stupid (like sign Reyes :-puke: ) if Barça gets Joaquin.
As I said earlier, I really hope the newspapers are wrong. Some of what we are rumored to do just doesn't make sense.
I've also said earlier that IMO getting Baptista would be a bad move. I don't think we have room for him on our team.

Be calmed, it sounds like a big hoax... Barcelona papers dont talk about it, and yesterday Joaquin said "Dont care who talk with Betis, i wont leave this team " or something like that.
mega montana 13-06-2005, 05:15:PM real are favorites to land henry..supposedly we would spend 75 million euros for him :nape: article also mentions that luxemborgo wants c. ronaldo

Crusad3r 13-06-2005, 06:44:PM Bah, there is many blablabla about signing/leaving but it seems 90% of that blablabla are lies.
Yeah, I wish I could just wake up and it be Aug. 30 and know what we've done except I don't want to skip my summer.
My revised list of players I want :
Robinho, Joaquin, Ramos, and Pablo Garcia/Julio Baptista (Only if Helguera can't play CM/CDM)
mega montana 13-06-2005, 06:56:PM Yeah, I wish I could just wake up and it be Aug. 30 and know what we've done except I don't want to skip my summer.

i like your list rusi :ewan:
Paulo Da Silva 13-06-2005, 06:59:PM i wouldn;t mind Baptista playing for Real if i was a fan. This guy can play anywhere. DM, CM, AM, and FW. Great player to have on your team
Crusad3r 13-06-2005, 07:09:PM i wouldn;t mind Baptista playing for Real if i was a fan. This guy can play anywhere. DM, CM, AM, and FW. Great player to have on your team
Agree.
About Baptista i believe we will have it for free the next year. Sevilla dont wanna sell, Baptista wanna leave and earn a lot of money, free transfer = more money for Baptista.
djgperu1 13-06-2005, 07:32:PM Where is Owen ?!
and Ballack can't play LM/LW
my line up if there wouldn't be new sinings/departures and woody is fit.
-----------------Casillas---------------
-Salgado--Woodgate--Helguera--R.Carlos-
--------------Gravesen ()---------------
--Beckham-------------------------Figo
-----------------Zidane-----------------
-----------Owen--------Ronaldo---------
subs: Samuel, Raul, Solari, Guti and ?
if we get
Ramos - put him in at RB or CB
Ronaldo - instead of Figo
thats exactly the same formation of this yea....
just that luxe started using figo as a CAM .
and where is Raul in ur formation?
sharkman 13-06-2005, 07:44:PM thats exactly the same formation of this yea....

raul is the weakest in madrid.... his place is on bench!!!!
ufojeremy 13-06-2005, 07:46:PM raul is the weakest in madrid.... his place is on bench!!!!
Maybe he will join Morientes in Liverpool
Raikkonen 13-06-2005, 07:58:PM Raul won't leave. He will retire at Real Madrid (his contract ends in 2010).
reading AS, i found out that Baptista doesn't have an EU passport  so we can't have him (uh, i feel soooooo sad...(H) ), unless we sell Samuel :(. Maybe next year :ewan:
Figo could go to Villareal (http://www.emol.com/noticias/deportes/detalle/detallenoticias.asp?idnoticia=185298)
yeah, the source isn't very good, but it was the first newspaper to announce Villareal's last signings (Valencia and that argentinian gk).
mega montana 13-06-2005, 08:02:PM that'd be weird if figo played for any other spanish team
wherever he goes, i wish him the best of luck
Raikko, I read somewhere that he would get it in early August. Is that wrong?
Raikkonen 13-06-2005, 11:05:PM Raikko, I read somewhere that he would get it in early August. Is that wrong?

if figo goes to villareal? then what would we get in exchange??
I am sure that Figo will not go to Villareal.
WilliamFAlmeida 14-06-2005, 01:11:AM :nape: ok so Madrid, seold alot of people, but havent actually bought anyone!! Great. The same great thing theyve been doing the last couple of years.....sell 20 get 1. ITs been working so great too.....

Who have we sold?
yt23w 14-06-2005, 03:26:AM if figo wants to experience the English League then why dont we trade him for C.Ronaldo. Owen should stay at Real so he can show what he is really capable of. Many teams want Luis Figo so if we arenot gonna use him atleast get some money for him! i would hate to see him go but when idiots reign good ideas are washed away.
i would like to see Robinho, C.Ronaldo, and Ramos.
i dont know much about Pablo Garcia but we already have 2 CDM's (grav + ivan) and Julio Baptista sounds good if ballack isn't gonna come.
does anyone think zidane will play a beach role next year...eg.. comming on at 50-60minutes?
Who've we sold Will ?
http://www.as.com/articulo.html?d_date=&xref=20050614dasdaiftb_16&type=Tes&anchor=dasftbA00
We are talking about getting a back-up full-back Carlos Diogo from River Plate and Uruguay. I like the idea, we need a back-up full-back. I don't know if he has a passport though.
http://www.as.com/futbol/as/clubes.php?competicion=0269&ideq=1
Three articles about him. He's called 'The next Cafu'
Edit ::: He's got a passport with his Italian Mother.
is it madrid already signed robinho?
Raikkonen 14-06-2005, 04:45:AM Diogo is a very good player (Y) it would be a great sign

assholes :kader: i'm going to write a letter to them (6)
+ the usual BS about Henry
Edit: no, we haven't sign him yet... and i'm wondering if all this rumors about Henry are because we won't sign Robinho  :S
ronnifan9 14-06-2005, 07:38:AM I'm exited about this Diogo kid, well isn't he like 24? I guess it's still young... :)
When they made the comparisons to El pupi Zanetti, I got the chills... :lui: !!!
Seven8 14-06-2005, 08:25:AM thats exactly the same formation of this yea....
just that luxe started using figo as a CAM .
and where is Raul in ur formation?
as sharkman said - he is benched
and about the formation thing
didn't Figo play sometimes on the left and changed back and forth with C.Ronaldo in the Por NT?
Zidane is way better CAM than LM because he is not too far out on the side and can create much more.
mega montana 14-06-2005, 12:29:PM arrrgh i hate waiting! :)
i dont get this samuel bashing, how come woodgate gets no flak for missing the whole season? :nape:
WilliamFAlmeida 14-06-2005, 01:43:PM My bad, I was under the impression we sold players already. Maybe thats all the talk and hype that Im getting lost in.
mark77 14-06-2005, 01:58:PM There's a million reports in Italy that Real will loan Samuel to Inter(right to buy him the year after).
wtf???
I AM TIRED OF THIS SAMUEL TO INTER SH*T !!!!!
I don't understand :nape:
Seven8 14-06-2005, 03:06:PM arrrgh i hate waiting! :)
i dont get this samuel bashing, how come woodgate gets no flak for missing the whole season? :nape:
Because Woody was "un/lucky" enough not being able to play so he couldn't show how good OR bad he is.
IMO Samuel is a good defender - but he gets too many YC. Sill aslong as Woody doesn't play and we don't sign new CBs we only have Samuel/Helguera and a half one in Pavon.

Andrejs 14-06-2005, 03:58:PM Is Marca something like The Sun in the UK?
Anyway, I don't know if this is posted before but according to this Ronaldo wants to stay at United. I hope he gets the new contract soon :(

Drvar 14-06-2005, 04:10:PM no, Marca has very close ties with Madrid, but they do print alot of crap, less than AS though. The Sun is a unique paper, it cannot be compared to anything else in the world. That article about Makelele's 12 inch sausage is still imprinted in my brain. not good, not good...:(

Real Madrid to play two matches in Japan
- Real Madrid will play two pre-season games against Japanese clubs Tokyo Verdy and Jubilo Iwata next month, match organisers said on Tuesday.
The Spanish giants face Verdy on July 25 and Jubilo two days later as part of their pre-season tour of Asia.
