its clear that Everton > Liverpool. Face it, 'pool fans, youre no longer the number 1 club in your own town.
you see, i dont have this problem with my team, because no matter how sh*t we get, we're still the ONLY club in town, therefore the best club in town.
well, good luck Pool, maybe next year is the year you finally get past Everton.

Rob

Losing 2-0 to Mancs. Beattie injured after 20 mins. Cahill fluffing a couple of open headed chances. Bent hit the crossbar. Getting shagged by a granny shagger.

Duncan Ferguson brought on to bang in a hattrick. :sun:

On the Bolton game > "If you take away the fact we conceded 4 goals then it was one of our best home performances of the season."

:| !

I dont care what anyone says, that squad should not be this bad. If they get Gravesen back (who would want to come to this rabble in January anyway?) they might get a kick in the ass and a shot in the arm from him, but a team with talent like Arteta, Van der Meyde, Cahill, and Beattie, above average players, there is no excuse to be this bad. If they let Moyes go, that would be a damn shame

Its as if they realize how much they overachieved last year and now are conciously underachieving

Since David Moyes took charge, he enjoyed a topsy-turvy spell. I bet Everton will overachieve next season.

i've said the whole of last season that the whole everton team was actually based on 2 players, one is gravesen and the other one is carsley, once both r out they will suffer which is proven since gravesen left for real madrid they has been struggling, and this season carsley hasn't played a single game for them and just look at the table... :p

They should grab Gravesen now, if he's even willing to come. Moyes should try and see if Madrid want to loan him

That's a dude that could be a real leader the second he gets back with the club. Not to mention plant his studs in some lazy asses to get them playing like their lives depended on it

Both the Everton Megastores in Liverpool City Centre and Chester are to shut at the end of the current campaign according to the staff in the shop by Central Station today.
http://1878club.com/forum/geek/gars/images/1/9/city1.jpg

Apparently, as JJB are the Official Retail Partners they will stock all Everton equipment, therefore there is no need for the shops to remain open.

The megastore that was in the Grange Precinct in Birkenhead shut its doors earlier this season for reasons that are unknown to the public.

Strangely enough, the Megastore in Chester has only just been relocated to Eastgate Street, surely costing the club thousands in re-decoration/refurbishment etc... so why waste money on something that will only be open a few more months?

However, the one situated by Goodison is to remain open!

Everton fan caught with stolen Liverpool medal
Jul 1 2006
Daily Post

Jerzy Dudek's Champions League winners medal, along with his Super Cup winners medal and FIFA Club World Championship runners-up medal

AN EVERTON fan was caught with Liverpool goalkeeper Jerzy Dudek's stolen football memorabilia.

Martin Roche, 26, of Brainerd Street, Old Swan, yesterday pleaded guilty to handling the property.

The star first realised he had been burgled on Monday, June 19, when he arrived home to his luxury house in Caldy, Wirral, after a holiday to his native Poland.

Thieves had smashed the rear patio doors and ransacked the property, stripping the goalkeeper of more than £100,000 worth of items, including his Champions League 2005 medal.

Story continues Continue story

Although Roche did not take part in the burglary, he did admit hoarding two hold-alls and three plastic bags containing approximately £40,000 worth of football memorabilia.

Birkenhead Magistrates' Court heard that Roche had been walking home from the pub in Tuebrook when he was approached by a friend who asked him to look after some things.

Adam White, defending, said: "He looked in the bags and saw a Gucci and Frank Muller watch, the goalkeeper's gloves and quite a number of jerseys, to his horror.

"He believes he has a warrant for non-payment of fines in relation to the court so does not want to tell the police."

But when police officers called at the house he admitted his involvement and led them to the stash.

Roche was conditionally bailed pending sentencing at Liverpool Crown Court and is to appear again at Birkenhead Magistrates' Court on July 28 for a pre-sentence hearing. Roche's girlfriend, Melanie Mackerth, 23, far right, who lives with Roche, also appeared in court yesterday on the same charges but did not enter a plea.

She was bailed on the same conditions.
