no, no, i mean, a Legia Adidas Oryginalna Koszulka to Australia, is it possible to buy one on the internet and get it sent here?
Hmmm... situation is problematical because, ITI Group, Legia owner, haven't got Legia's logo ownership. It have CWKS Legia (5% in Stock market), which associate Legia clubs in another sports. Anyway, KP Legia Warszawa SSA, with ITI Group ownership doesn't sell most of Legia souvenirs. Legialive.pl with "Pamiątki Legii" sells souvenirs, replica kit also. But in rules of buying is "Nie realizujemy zamówień zagranicznych.". It means this e-shop doesn't sell souvenirs to another country from Poland. It's a shame because in every sports and adidas shop in Warsaw you can find 1st, 2nd and 3rd Legia kit...

Jambo Den 04-07-2005, 07:16:PM Hey,
Apparently we have Maciej Murawski on trial at Hearts, who as far as I know played for you guys during the 2002 World Cup. I do know that he's different from Celtic target, Maciej Zurawski, but that's about it.
So, what's he like? A Polish NT player, so a bit better than average it's safe to say. But how good is he? What positions can he play? What qualities can he bring to a team?
mihalll 04-07-2005, 07:43:PM He's a defensive midfielder, I think he only played once for the NT (against USA in Korea) when we had no chance to advance anyway and we played mostly with substitutes. Typical DM, plays rough, passes not always accurate. I haven't heared of him since he moved to Bundesliga. Provided he's free you can give him a chance.

Piotr Wlodarzczyk. we're takin him on trial and if he's any good we're gettin him on loan!
2 questions... any good? and what the fśck kind of name is that!?Legia's supporters hates him now... he haven't got any form... with Austria Vienna he hadn't scored a goal from 5 meters to empty net. With Groclin he hadn't scored from 200% to score chance. In 2003/2004 season in winterbreak he trensffered to Legia from Widzew (which in this season degredated to second division). In Autumn 2004 ha had superb form... but now... oh my god... in polish we talk about this players wood.
PS: Piotr Wlodarczyk... u can say: Wuodarchik or somethin like that...
BTW, Wlodarczyk is in my avatar :ewan:
AberdeenFC 12-07-2005, 12:38:AM sounds like the kind of player we need to be honest. managed to score 15 last season but all but one was from a free kick i heard on your teams message board! we gotta pre season friendly tommorow in montrose might go down for a look at him!
we've decided to just call him dave the polish guy
One his good match in 2004/05 season was vs Wisla Krakow (5:1). He scored a hat-trick
Legia will play with Bayern Munchen - said Monika Rezibrant, from Press Office of KP Legia Warszawa. In 8th August Bayern will be in Warsaw, by "Visiting Friends" action.

Swisher....? He trained with Legia in Austria, but for us was too weak. Now, what I heared, he train in other Warsaw club - Polonia. He's Guatemalan (from Guatemala, I don't know how it write :P)
mihalll 13-07-2005, 10:35:AM Just because they didn't like him doesn't mean he's weak. You know how many great players failed on trials in Polish clubs.

Boruc in Celtic! (loan for a year, 650 000 pounds)
Legia goalkeeper Artur Boruc headed for England to join Celtic Glasgow in their training camp at Bisham Abbey and it seems that he will not need a return ticket. The price for Legia captain is not excessive, amounting to ca. 1 million Euro. In tonight's friendly with Bayer Leverkusen, Legia goal will be guarded by young Lukasz Fabianski.

BTW, Legia have now only one goalkeeper :/
Just because they didn't like him doesn't mean he's weak. You know how many great players failed on trials in Polish clubs.
Sądzę, że był za słaby... nie pokazał niczego dobrego... jakby był dobry to by Legia się nim zainteresowała, jak tym Egipcjaninem...

It was actually 10 not 9, Nesu was thrown out in the 71st minute because he picked up his second yellow at the time the score was tied 1-1 and then we managed to score in 10 men and win it 2-1 oh and to add to that Wisla missed a penalty in the 82nd minute :funny:

In Poland his "second name" is "misery"... as you see, he hasn't got good effectivity... in Leagia was the same and even worse...

Watch this... in third action of the match (second for Legia - white kits). Wlodarczyk (#9) and his shoot... pass to Groclin's goalkeeper from 11 meters. Now you know why we called him "misery"

Well yeah Paraschive got elliminated in the 44th minute of the first half but he was subbed at HT so Steaua only played in 10 men for 1 minute (it was a friendly and the coaches agreed that if a player was eliminated they could sub him) and then in the second half Nesu got a second yellow so we only played with ten men for about 18 minutes.

but man... versus what team he scored? FC Fools? :P
Sorry, man, but I think that Polish league is good as Scotish without Rangers and Cetic and he won't score goal versus club from Glasgow... maybe he score some goals versus other teams but not much.
Zielinski: I don't agree to Wlodarczyk's transfer.
Legia's coach Jacek Zielinski doesn't agree to Wlodarczyk transfer to Aberdeen. First we must find class forward. If we don't, Wlodarczyk can't go to Scotland - he said. I knew that one of two first squad forwards Saganowski - Wlodarczyk will change club. Now we know that Saganowski's in Vitoria. Legia can't afford to banish two key players in this position. - Zielinski ends.

Leicester City 0-0 Celtic
Artur Boruc has joined Celtic on a season-long loan from Legia Warsaw
Celtic's new Polish international goalkeeper Artur Boruc impressed in the friendly goalless draw with Leicester.
Boruc saved Dion Dublin's second minute penalty after the Leicester striker was fouled by Chris Sutton.
Later in the first half the Polish keeper made two excellent saves from former Hearts striker Mark De Vries.
Boruc deservedly had the last word as he clawed away a Gareth Williams one-handed after the Scotsman had again danced clear of succession of tackles.

GORNIK LECZNA - LEGIA WARSZAWA 0:0
In the second round of Idea Ekstraklasa Legia recorded another goalless draw. In the first half of the match against Górnik Łęczna players from Warsaw looked rusty and mainly defended themselves, launching few and unsuccessful offensive actions. Both Klatt and Szałachowski disappointed. The only player deserving applause was goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski who had a string of excellent saves. In the second half Legia performed slightly better, but it was Górnik who were closer to victory.
Gornik L.: 12. Andrzej Bledzewski - 7. Grzegorz Bronowicki, 14. Bartosz Jurkowski, 3. Artur Bozyk, 25. Ronald iklić (79, 24. Mariusz Pawelec) - 17. Artur Andruszczak, 6. Grzegorz Wedzynski, 4. Poza tym nowych koszulek z sezonu 05/06 i tak na razie nie bedzie, bo nieoficjalnie wiadomo, ze adidas nie wypusci ich w sprzedazy poki nie sprzedadza sie wszystkie stare (z sez. 04/05). Mozesz rowniez wrocic do ojczyzny i pojechac do pierwszego lepszego sklepu sportowego w Warszawie (Decathlon, GoSport, adidas itd.)

Marcin Burkhardt in Legia!
Ex-Amica Wronki, midfielder, Marcin Burkhardt sign to Legia!
Elber2k3 07-08-2005, 12:58:PM I've seen a leaflet, that Legia Warsaw is coming to my hometown to play against Sportfreunde Hehlrath, but I'm not sure if it's the first team, the reserve team or a youth team. Do you have any idea what team is coming here?
I didn't find any information about it in the internet.
You mean that will be friendly?
I don't heard nothing about it.
For sure it won't be first team. Tomorrow will play against Bayern in friendly, at thursday in UEFA Cup against Zurich.
Reserve team had already time to prepare to season, and was played yestereday first match in league.
We have additionally one football team, which isn't revelant with KP Legia Warszawa. But it's team, who belong to CWKS Legia Warszawa (club with other sport sections: volleyball, basketball etc.). CWKS play in Liga Okregowa (5th division of polish league) but I don't thinking that will be play agains your local club (CWKS has financial problems).
I hope you understand my words. Also for me this situation is problematical.
Elber2k3 08-08-2005, 12:14:AM The match will be in the end of august. I don't remember what day. I think it is a Blitz-tournament (3 Teams, each team plays 2 matches that end after 45 minutes).
The only additional information I have is that it is for the club 85th anniversary.
Well I will go there and see who is going to play. If it's a team I don't care about, I will just eat something from the BBQ and then go home.

Match Preview at fcbayern.t-com.de :
Apart from starting well in the new Bundesliga and German Cup campaigns, Bayern are pursuing a goal farther from home in August as the double winners go on the road to their fans in Eastern Europe with friendly matches in Poland and Croatia.
The games, presented by Bayern Partners T-Com, HypoVereinsbank and Audi and sporting the slogan "Visiting Friends", see Bayern take on top local outfit Legia Warsaw in the Polish capital on 8 August, before meeting a Croatia select XI in Zagreb on 23 August. The international double-header represents an excellent opportunity for Munich to get into the groove ahead of the autumn's crucial Champions League group stage fixtures.
Bayern's loyal army of fans needn't miss a minute of the action with FCB Champions. We'll be there from 8.30 pm next Monday at the Wojska Polskiego stadium in Warsaw for the meeting with Legia, third-placed finishers in last season's Polish championship.
Many chances, one goal.

Legia took tonight hard lesson from Munich. Legia create many chances to score goals but Wlodarczyk and Szalachowski shoot straight to Bayern's goalkeeper. Bayern scores goals 90% of their chances. Legia's effectivity was today very bad. Jacek Magiera probably forgot to which goal should shoots.

LEGIA WARSZAWA - FC ZURICH 0:1 (0:0)
Fatal play of Legia, red card for Legia player in 18th minute, very bad referee from ITALY, goal for Zurich in 92th minute - this is result of first match of Legia in UEFA CUP in this season. Great match played, Legia's goalkeeper, Lukasz Fabianski, who saved a lot of chances for Zurich. Unfortunelty, Mr. Pasqual Rodomonti from Italy showed in Warsaw for who is refereed. First his reaction - red card for Legia's player, Surma. All supporters was very angry (supporters whistled and screamed "CINCIOLINA"). In second half, when match had to end, referee prolonged match to 2 minutes, and Rafael player of Zurich scored goal exactly in 92th minute. But I must say it - Legia played ******* bad match, and well-desreve lost. These are last minutes of directing Legia for her coach, Jacek Zielinski. Only Fabianski and fantastic supporters did what they only can.

DERBY STOLCY (Warsaw Derby At Polonia Stadium)
History:
Before World War II both Polonia and Legia had comparable amount of support in the city. Generally they were based in all social classes, but Polonia was a bit more elite orientated. When Warsaw had to be rebuilt after the war, Legia became the team of the military and within a few years they were one of the best clubs in Poland. Polonia relegated and most of the new inhabitants of Warsaw started to support Legia. Nowadays both teams are among the best in the country but fans of Legia are still outnumbering Polonia. The nickname of Legia is Zieloni ("The Greens") or Wojskowi ("Militaries") and Polonia are called Czarne Koszule ("Black Shirts").

Emte, I need some quality pictures of Jańczyk for wallpaper. Any chances that you'll find some time and post them here? :)

tomek_100 02-05-2006, 06:51:PM Korona - Legia fantastic match ,after first half and Korona's leading 2-0 good 2nd half, goal by choto from corner and important score by włodarczyk in 90th minute who gave Legia one point (for me this goal should be included for Edson who has magnificently shot from free kick).
Happy Legia players and staff

He's their best attacking player. Fast dribbler, scores from every free kick, good centers. Poor in defence.

He was Sporting's player at the beginning of the season (as a left back), and one of the most promising signings we did at the time, but for some strange reason (despite 1 or 2 small injuries) he only played once until December.
Good to see he's doing well in Poland, maybe we can bring him back, but I think it's a 3 year loan deal between the clubs.
