Must be a key/button which use must be: to turn off the "off the ball control"

This would be very useful....


Example:
Sometimes, one could turn on this option on, but depending on the situatuion, you must turn it off so you can run or driblee, etc......

EA should really think of making an OTB which is an end-to-end viewing the width of the pitch as well as the player in possession rather than this lengthy tele-cam off the ball

Well my definition of off the ball is you run around without the ball. Really of it "OFF the ball" you see what I mean?

I believe they should implement a new "Off the ball" feature and have it so the AI on your teams controls the ball and you make runs on your own then you should press triangle or whatever and the AI player automatically knows if they should pass, lob, or through pass to you. Now the AI should be smart enough so if there close to goal they take a shot unless you tell them to pass to you. Now dont make it perfect so EVERY pass goes right to you, make it so sometimes a defender blocks it or whatever. Now thats what i think EA should do for the "off the ball" feature and not the method they have now. Not saying its a bad idea what they have now but I think my Idea makes more sense. Of course this is all just im opinion. :)

Well it is optional, nobody is holding a gun to your head and making you use it. Ive only used OTB only a few times. Why, because I have an option to use it and I choose to use it when I want to.

ok Rport03, when i use "off the ball", i have to drible sometimes, so i can avoid some oponents, so that gives me time to lob the ball to my teammate.

Derok, in my OTB your not in control of the ball the AI is and all you do is run around and make yourself open so you could then tell the AI player to pass to you, just like if your in control and a AI player makes a break he signals you to pass to him, well this time your signaling the AI player to pass towards you. Also other AI players could signal aswell just to make the game a little more realistic. Now unlike the current OTB where you could only control 3 other players, in my OTB you could control any player, you could also go back and control the player with the ball. Now once the AI player passes EA could then either have it so you automatically start controlling him or the AI will keep controlling and you then have the option to go control them.

Now to answer your question its pretty simple, in my OTB your not in control of the ball all the time you could still drible pass oponents and lob towards other players its just that while your controlling the player with the ball you can't control other players at the same time. Because in my OTB you could plain and simple control a player with or without the ball.

OTB ruins the Xbox live experience, I have seen people do only OTB for 90 minutes. I'm only hoping for the same game play back from 97-98 series which was the most realistic ever.
