Rangers are talking to Laurent Robert of Newcastle.

My opinion is that only wages stand in the way of a deal going through

would be a good deal. Robert, for some reason, does seem like a Rangers kind of player.

I can't believe Souness would chase a player like Robert out of a Newcastle team already lacking in real depth.

Robert is one lazy bastard and apart from set pieces he does **** all.

1) He's greedy
2) He never tracks back to defend
3) He can't pass the ball
4) Lack of effort

This is a rumour from a few weeks back and it was reported it was a one deal with him signing for Celtic.
