Israilian league is NOT better then Russian.
Next year Russia will have 6 teams in Eurocups + Intertoto CUP.
If Israilian league will have the same number of teams, I'll agree with Israilian brothers, and shut up by myself. Until it is not happend Russian league i much better then Israilian!

Russian League is much better!
Lots of players who can't play in russian league theen go to israel.
And look at rating and you'll see the difference

Ok, Guys, if you showing your point of view and telling that Israeli are better then Russian, show all evidence and proofs, or else it is just a hypotize.
Remember Uvarov, Great Goalie? Makabi T-A didn't seem awful just because of him. By the way, he is Russian.

1. No racial comments towards a person or country.

2. No posts with languages other than english... they will be deleted, translated or not, period.

3. Lets not be children... no name calling or swearing.

Of course, Russian league is better.
UEFA ratings proves it.
And remember, Lokomotiv-Maccabi-3:1, 1:0 (last match between russian and israelean teams)

you guys still keep saying that Esraeli ara better then Russians even after Loko-Maccabi 3:1, 1:0? You really are crazy.

Ste Lloyd

It's Israel, not Esrael.

How many teams are there in the russian league?

i don't think that anyone has literally said that the israeli league is better, as an israeli i also confess that the russian league is indeed a better league than the israeli one but that doesn't change the fact the financially, EA are better off putting the israeli league in.

Hi!
Here is my opinion on this old and chewed up topic
1. No one with a even a little knowledge of soccer would say that Israeli league is better then Russian.
2. I have yet to hear that Israeli league is better then Russian on this forum.
3. Why do u keep referring to Israeli league when Korean league is worse in my opinion?
4. EA is not a non-profit organization, and they will put in leagues that are willing to pay them money. Leagues that are in FIFA2000 will become better known, and if league doesn’t care about that and doesn’t want to pay or doesn’t have money to pay, EA wouldn’t care if they are in the game or not.
5. Russian league most definitely should be included in FIFA2000, but since there are no Slavic countries in the game at all, question of discrimination pops into my head.
6. I really want to know if EA is gonna make downloads or another CD with more leagues and updated rosters for FIFA2000. I want some answers!!! http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/redface.gif)

RUSSIAN LEAGUE IS BETTER

And Maccabi Tel-Aviv has 2 good russian
players: Popov & Uvarov
Do you know Alexey Kosolapov?
or Vasili Ivanov?

Pahan

Uvarov is still playing? Cool.

Well, as I remember, Russians were always discriminated in soccer. I think some of you remember games like Dynamo Kiev - Fiorentina in 89 (it was USSR that time), Spartak M - Anderleht, Alania - MTK, Spartak - Sion, USSR-Urugway, etc. I think it is the shadow of the past. world still hate the Evil Empire and its ruins.

And now the Russian league is missed in the FIFA 2000. And it is the same with NHL2000. There few versions of NHL 2000 and no Russian. How ever, Russian are one of the best in the world in ice hockey.

I think it is just discrinination.

PS. Even baby can say that Russian league is better then Esraeli. Why? Because we play MUCH better in Euro Club competitions.

Mr. Stalin

Ok Russian league is better than Israeli or Korean leagues and is at least as good as Dannish, Norwegian, Sweedish, Belgian or even Dutch leagues. Russian soccer is very good in general, if you watch it, you will enjoy it Results of European cups prove my point. Russia was elimitanated from Euro2000 by a goalie's mistake on the last minutes of the final game. Not seeing Russian league, even Russian National team in FIFA2000 only puts salt on the wound of numerious Russian fans who play FIFA series (including myself). Shame on EA Sports.
Well we get to edit China to make it Russia, too bad John Motson will mispronounce names.

Both the Russian and the Israeli Legaues should be in FIFA 2000, because who the hell will want to play in the Korean league for instance. If there is gonna be an Asian league, then it should be the Japanese J-league. i think the Russian and Israeli teams are better than Korean, I don't even know a team or player from there.

The point of this topic is not which team should be in FIFA2000 (it's over, we can't change anything, and we talked about it in FIFA2000.com/forum)
No we talk wich league is better, and no doubt we are better, I don't get a point why are you guys still keep saying that Esraeli are better. You know that, or maybe you just pis*ed of that we can do better in Euro Cups, huh?

Ste Lloyd
19-10-1999, 08:00:PM
I started this topic to continue the discussion about which league is better. It started off in the Fifa 2000 forum before the leagues are decided. So lets keep Fifa 2000 and EA out of this.

So far the Russians are out numbering the Israelis. Come on where are you all (eg from fifa 2000 forum).

What is the atmosphere like in Russia/Israel. I mean do the crowds Chant, sing songs, bang drums, light flares etc. Or do you just sit there until a goal is scored (like MLS!)

I'm watching Galasary V Chelsea and the amosphere is amazing, even when Chelsea took the lead

Man! Some Russian Fans are the same like English hooligans.
CSKA has most brutal fans.
Matches between Moscow teams are suported with big fights between fans.
Some times CSKA plays home games on closed stadium. It's some kind of penalty for miscondact between fans.

You write about MLS.
50% of fans on MLS games don't even know rules of soccer and sit on the game just for fun (to buy a coce, pizza, hotdog etc.)
I hate MLS.
I was ones on the San Jose Clash game. They SU*K!!!

It is not a pool whith a question "Which league do you think better, Russian or Israelian?"
If you deside to write a reply, give a nice support to your opinion, like UEFA ranking, or maybe last games between some clubs.

1. Russian league is # 7 and Israeli is #24
2. Lokomotiv - Makabi Tel-Aviv (2:1, 1:0)

I'd rather play in the Russian league, because I know a few teams and players and the Russian league is is of better standard than the Israeli league

DeeR

Ok, Israeleans, you can't say anything about your league...
I think all fans, exñept fans in Usa and Asia, are very good.
About Russian fans, that's photos of Spartak Moscow fans- http://un.fanats.com/foto/vidfoto1.htm
I'm not Spartak Moscow fan, I'm Fakel Voronezh fan-u don't know this team, maybe next season, it will be in the Premier league in Russia.

To any Russian. Whatever happened to Oleg Salenko?

Ste

Nothing much. He plays somehere in Turkey, forgot where exactly.
After scorring 5 goals in one match he didn't do as well as in USA in 94. It was just his lucky day (very lucky day). Then he signed a big contract in England, and then his club didn't want to resign him and he's gone to Turkey.

Anyway, he really did damn good http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/wink.gif, didn't he?

With all due respect the Israel league does not hold up too much. Mind you, Berkovic is one hell of a player, and probably the best ever Israeli player was Liverpool's own super sub, Ronnie Rosenthal. Well, I liked him anyway, would never play him 90mins though.
Russians on the other hand have a knack for producing quality players, which is amazing considering how little they are paid. God help us all if the Soviet Union had remained in tact, and I mean from a football point of view, not just a political one.

Salenko, man I am not sure where is he now, but I think he retired. His partner Radchenko is playing in the Japanese league

Oleg Salenko had 15 minutes of fame, scoring 5 goals against Cameroon in WC 94, after that nobody, and I mean nobody knew who he was anymore.

i think the israeli leage is much much better

but its not fere :
in russia theres more than 100 milion people
( i think )

in israel theres only 6 milion
and lokomotiv moskba beated maccabi haifa 3-0 not 3-1

i am a huge fan of maccabi haifa and the only reason they lost is because ore star those days left to eourope (alon mizrahi)
and the keeper had a realy realy bad day
(nir davidovich)

just to prove my sayings lets bring for a example : popov
he went to maccabi tel-aviv
he was a big promise but here he doesnt play at oll
he warms up the bench

does anyone know kalchenko? his a new rusian player that came to maccabi haifa
hes realy ggod

Pahan

Popov didn't 'cause coach is dumb.
Thanx god he left Esrail.
Don't forget Maccabi lost to Loko twice (!), 0:3 and 1:2. Seems goalie had 2 bad days http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif
When one good player leave the team, it shouldn't cause the game resul, otherwise the team is weak.
Look at Spartak, tonns of players have left. But they kick asses!!! (Real M one of them)

To schnit:
You didn't say why Esraeli are better then Russians. You just said you unsupporrted opinion.

By the way, what do you mean "MUCH BETTER"?
