Why do they need a new striker? they have cole and yorke and solskjaer and they're not that bad, if Fowler comes in he may not even get his chanc in a regular basis, i think if he wants to leave he should go to leed where the future lies.

its a case of quality.you're right about cole yorke etc.but fowler(much as i hate to admit it right now),is a better goal scorer than all of them & it is also a case of not standing still but of constantly improving the squad.also,remember,sheringham is coming to the end of his career(either end of this season or next),so that will mean one less option.
