Never underestimate the Germans, they had an old team at Euro 96 and not that many people felt they were going to win it, but they did.
And by the way, more than half of the veterans have retired since WC98.
Germany will go the distance next year, if the draw is right, maybe they'' be Holland's opponents in the final

i also think that germany will be the top contender for the title. first of all, they are the defending champions. and second of all, most of their players that played in world cup 98 are gone. germany won their group with six wins, 1 tie and 1 loss, and that against the tough turks which i think will be a big suprise. remember, when the turks beat the dutch team right before the world cup? they are always tough to play.

I'm not going to stand on the fence, so I would have to say England, or Italy, or maybe Holland, or Germany, or possibly France.

I have a feeling it will be France beating 2-1 Italy in the Final :D :D
