I'd say Galatasaray fans, but they lose points for being blood thirsty killers.

Well, definitely not PSV Eindhoven fans due to their behaviour yesterday evening against FC Kaiserslautern. The game was suspended for 15 minutes because the supporters broke through the gates. The coach, players and stewards had their hands full to get them all back to the stands but the damage was done.
UEFA will discuss the matter next wednesday but the penalty will be severe they said in a statement, maybe even suspension from European Cup football for a year.
Two policemen and 15 stewards were wounded during the 'outbreak'.
It was a black day for Dutch football yesterday, if PSV will be suspended, then only two Dutch teams may enter the Champions League instead of three.

Sure there are good supporters but this crowd should not be allowed to call themselves supporters.
It's negative for the club and probably their will be stadiumsuspensions for a lot of them FOR LIFE!

I'd love to say AJAX fans, but they are not, neither Feyenoord, or PSV or Greek or... or...
Violence has nothing to do with sports and watching sports. You can say there is alot wrong with American soccer and all that other sh*t, but no matter what happens, the fans here are fans and they do not bash eachothers brains in, they respect each other for being FANS of the game, any sport.

Well I remember Manchester-Panathinaikos in Old Trafford, only 5,000 Greeks outscreamed and yelled 45,000+ English fans. One friend told me the Greeks never stoped screaming thw whole game. The English were stunned and looking at them like they were aliens for never stopping to support their team. (even down 3-1). Singing and chanting.

it HAS to be the Scottish fans which i'm proud to say i'm one of the famous Tartan army.We make a f*ck load of noise before during games and after games.We are really loud but even better is that we are very well behaved and only a couple of arrests usually for a few fans having too much of the old alchohol.we are always very welcome to go back wherever we go to follow our teams or Scotland.

just ask Real Mallorca or VfB Stuttgart fans when we went to see Hearts in the UEFA cup.We outsang at least 20,000+ home fans and we only bought 1,500-2,000 fans on both occasions hopefully Hearts will be going back into Europe this year hopefully.

Charlton Athletic: Because they actually started a political party back in 1991 in order to get the Valley back. And then they also rennovated the ground so Charlton could return there. Those to me are "real" top fans. So are the ones of Aldershot, and AFC Wimbledon - because they sacraficed their money and time into recreating a club from the ground up.

In terms of atmosphere, then I'd go with Celtic.

I agree Man Utd fans are a bit quiet at home. Our away fans are amongst the best in the world. Our fans support individual efforts of players as much as the team nowadays. We have the most team and player chants in Europe. The rest of the premiership normally steals our songs like Chelsea etc which means they envy us.lol.

The fans make a new song every season and they sing Rooney, Ronaldo, Solskjaer and Parks name a lot nowadays. Our fans need to make more noise but the ticketing policy means tourists are more likely to visit Old Trafford than real fans. Packages are sold at expensive prices in order to make more revenue.

Anyone who says Celtic supporters is also a nublet. They had 18,000 turn up to their game yesterday. I know Dumbarton are hardly a great pull, but you'd be expecting at least 25,000 or so

It's rather funny seeing my post back when I was 14 or so, because my opinion has completely changed. I think the best set of fans would be the type who support their team in numbers when their team has been in some decline, but there's not very many sets of supporters who fit that. It's certainly none of the Scottish sides anyway!

seriously.. back in last year or two, there was a european cup match, it was fenerbahce or besiktas, and at some point the whole stadiums were calling the referee "gay!" for about a minute, like a chorus, and it was such a big noise inside the stadium.. but the ref seemed to be unaffected, cos they called him gay only in turkish (H)

Celtic fans can be the best, very very quiet at times too. I was at the Celtic - Aberdeen game and the crowd was non-existent. The Aberdeen fans were by far the better fans and they were only in a small section. Fair play to them.

A lot of people would rubbish the idea, but Urawa Red Diamons from Japan.

Absolutely breathtaking........... they DON'T stop singing, and it's ******* loud. Absolutely phenomenal numbers... the whole stadium is involved (60k capacity for their big one). Visually, too, they sh1te all over just about anything I've seen in Europe. The jumping, the co-ordination of the actions, flags, sea of colour.

It was phenomenal seeing the 3,000-4,000 they brought down for the Asian Champions League. Their chants were clearly audible down from behind the other goal. Just amazing.

I think the league with the best fans is the French league. I watch French League highlights occasionally and in 9/10 (sometimes 10/10) of the games shown, I can see the fans dancing together. And when a team scores a goal, the respective fans will rush down to the bottom seats just to acknowledge the player.

What would be the criterius? Their chants, tifos?? It´s really impossible to decide because there are thousands of great fans in word.

There are great supporters everywhere,even in small countries. I know tlhat because i made a lot of sound packs for fifa i have to search chants for coutries like Norway, Sweden etc and i find really good chants.

heh.. hmm .. cant choose a 'best' in fans groups.. well, in Turkey, Besiktas fans group "Çarşı" are really fanatic, funny and creative.. and aloud too, remember Liverpool game in Istanbul ..
and Eskisehirspor fans do good and smart things..for some game we made a careography that supports Turkey for 2016 bid .. writing ' Sure, We Can ' on it , that a normal fans group will do something just for the club they support instead..and no curse, volunteer band in the stands makes music :D not a vuvuzela thing ... etc etc.

i watch a lot of football games from europe.. i should add, the way English fans react all together is fantastic .. and they support teams that makes sense for them, not like Turkish ones .. the big 3 thing ehhh..

I wouldn't say that the Bosnian fans are the best but they are definitely the most passionate and the most patriotic. As soon as the ref makes a big mistake, you can see the garbage or flares flying to hit him!

in my opinion, as a fan, as a supporter and for what i've seen going in several matches between many teams here in Brazil, Argentina e Portugal, the greatest fans and supporters i've ever been with, are Corinthians fans

the athmosphere is simply different... i can't really explain...

The people that have come on the matches are those who represent the fans of the team. It is the association that must take responsibility for the fans and make sure that these particular incidents do not occur and therefore, it is also them(and the fans who caused it, of course) who must take the punch here. Fact. The association could've easily stopped those lunatics from even getting permission to buy a ticket and prevent this completely.

If not every member, then, their leaders and many members of them. An example is that idot the other night.
