View Full Version : Didier Drogba is a wanker

What the hell is wrong with the guy? During the whole game his actions made no sense and were pointless. He was diving all over. Only 5 minutes into the game, he pushed Boswell away from him :|

Carlton Cole must be the biggest pussy. One little touch from Gros and he lay there like he got shot in the abdomen. What a little bitch.

Crespo is slow and lazy. Kinda like Jaime Moreno. Plus, his goal was offside. Bah.

Chelsea have no supporters. There were about 50-100 supporters who had travelled along but I'd say about 50% were United supporters. There were guys in Chelsea jerseys but they were very passive and hiden away. There were a lot of neutral supporters who showed up in random jerseys. I saw at least 20 people with Ajax jerseys.

Prideaux is ****.

Boswell :rockman:

Fedex wasn't as bad as people thought. Lower ring was completely filled by the second half and there were a couple hundred in the middle/upper ring... Attendance: 31,473. Not bad. Great match for MLS and United.

Pictures tomorrow.

Hernan always seems lazy ;) His goal was too close to call, but to me he looked onside.

Crespo will get the job done though.

Yeah, I rate him far higher than Drogba. He was just slow getting back onside when United had the ball on Chelsea's half...

Looked offside to me when I watched the replay when I got back, Wilson may have kept him on though.

What did you think about Freddy Adu ?

I think this match taught him a lesson on not to play around or hold the ball for too long because he killed DC in the last 10 minutes. Adu did have a couple nice plays though.

It was a good game though (Y)

Before the game...

Adu did well tho, like you mentioned.. he holds on to the ball for too long. He needs to anticipate the game a bit better and act faster. Considering the defense he was up against.. (Y)

Dude, it was a friendly. But your sentiments seemed to be shared by almost everyone there: the boos and heckling were pretty out of character for a meaningless game.

Drogba plays like that: he is dirty, he dives, he gets in peoples faces, he acts like a bitch out on the field, but I dont know why he has to do it in a friendly. That goes for Diarra as well, and I dont even know what the hell Huth was thinking about. The game was practically over :| And yes, Carlton Cole sucks, there can be no doubts about that, but he looked like he had a nasty spill there, and likely embellished the hell out of it.

What I hate, though, is when people get so frustrated with opponents who take a dive. Chelsea fans wanted to cut Ballacks balls off after he did it during the CL and I couldnt wrap my brain around why. I see it when Duff/Cole/Drogba/Kezman/Robben/whoever else does it, so I cant pretend it doesnt go both ways.

Anyway, that picture you put of the US Blues on the far end looks like it was taken 30 minutes+ before the game: that section was swelled when the game was on. I wasnt even close to that section, and I wasnt going to be seen singing on my own, so outside of a few yells for players I didnt get loud at all. But naturally, they were drowned out in the majority. Your end was damn loud :)

The numbers of Chelsea fans, based upon people wearing the teams kits and not those sitting only in that section, was staggering. Id say I saw at least 250 Chelsea kits, as many or more than DCU kits that I saw, and I only walked about 3 gates inside.

And by the looks of the numbers of neutral kits (I saw dozens of Barca, Ajax, Liverpool, Arsenal, etc etc) which is kind of puzzling, but they must be casual fans. But one guy had a Liverpool with "Istanbul 05" on the back, which is clearly not a casual thing.

Anyway, im not trying to step or anything, im merely trying to give you a counterpoint response :jambo: And yah, Adu was pretty impressive: that move he pulled on Diarra wasnt that amazing, but it left him in the dust. All in all, Chelsea were lucky.

So your brother was for Chelsea in the Barra Brava/Screaming Eagles end? Howd that go for him? (6)

The Crespo goal was class. I believe Diarra steals the ball, then Tiago passes to Robben who races away from his marker to send a lovely through ball to Crespo. Crespo cooly taps it past the keeper. Very nice, quick counterattack.

The Chelsea, goals were class!

Firstly, SWP and duff, both showed intelligence and technique, SWP , to pick out duff with presision, and the techniques by duff, to control the volley.
Also Robben's outrageous speed and the nice finish by crespo, shos that we can see this happening alot in the forthcoming season,

Very lazy defending by drogba for the D.C United goal, just let his marker go.

Dude, it was a friendly. But your sentiments seemed to be shared by almost everyone there: the boos and heckling were pretty out of character for a meaningless game.Well, what can you do? These are Barra Brava/Screaming Eagles fans and they weren't very fond of the "Eurosnobs."Anyway, that picture you put of the US Blues on the far end looks like it was taken 30 minutes+ before the game: that section was swelled when the game was on. I wasnt even close to that section, and I wasnt going to be seen singing on my own, so outside of a few yells for players I didnt get loud at all. But naturally, they were drowned out in the majority. Your end was damn loud :)Yeah, it was about half an hour before the game. And yeah, later on they got a bit bigger but not by much? Were they Americans or just ex-pats or whatever?

Yeah, our end was a loud from what I heard. One guy in the 2nd ring said he could hear us clearly. It was a shame though because it was pretty uncoordinated. At times we had two different chants going on... it didn't make much difference though, I'm hoarse as hell :(

You know the kids that were playing during half-time? They put the parents in 132 (section to the right of us) and they were bitchin' the whole time. DCU seriously ****ed up on that one.The numbers of Chelsea fans, based upon people wearing the teams kits and not those sitting only in that section, was staggering. Id say I saw at least 250 Chelsea kits, as many or more than DCU kits that I saw, and I only walked about 3 gates inside.Well, I don't think it was that much considering this was a match featuring Chelsea... I saw a whole bunch of them too outside of the far end. They were all sitting down and acting quiet. One Chelsea fan ended up in our end.. he got the hell outta there the moment he realized it (H)

Howd that go for him? (6)Haha (H)

I had to keep him in check a few times... didn't want him getting hurt or anything.. it would've been better if he had a neutral seat but he still thought it was awesome to be within 30 feet of Petr Cech and Arjen Robben.

There were definately Eurosnobs there. Three guys behind me were like bad well-to-do countryside English stereotypes from Lincolnshire that worked in this area. But the US Blues themselves, I believe, were a mix. I heard them signing a song for lenny pidgley ( (H) ) when he was warming up, and I could detect a few English tones in them, but for the most part I think theyre US based Chelsea fans.

Yeah, our end was a loud from what I heard. One guy in the 2nd ring said he could hear us clearly. It was a shame though because it was pretty uncoordinated. At times we had two different chants going on... it didn't make much difference though, I'm hoarse as hell :(

Yah, youre noisemaking dominated the whole stadium at times. And the chants definately rubbed off as some of the diehards in my section continued them on and got quite a few people going.

Didnt see the kids though. But yah, those family sections should be far, far away from the "ultras" at any match.

Well, I don't think it was that much considering this was a match featuring Chelsea... I saw a whole bunch of them too outside of the far end. They were all sitting down and acting quiet. One Chelsea fan ended up in our end.. he got the hell outta there the moment he realized it (H)
Haha (Y)
Yah, the volume of fans was probably smaller than it should have been, but they definately didnt make their voices heard. I sure as hell wasnt helping, but even the US blues were pretty quiet :S

Yeah, that's exactly what I noticed too... there were lots of neutral fans that came just to see Chelsea's stars... many immigrants too.Haha (H)

Hehe, immigrants (H) But yah, that was the same thrill of it for me. Just to see Duff score that beauty was worth the price of admission for me, and though Id been to Stamford Bridge before, its something entirely different seeing the people in the flesh. But after the experience, I'll definately be seeing some DCU games at RFK, though. The atmosphere for such a meaningless game was damned impressive...plus my Irish cousin wants a kit with Freddy's number on the back :fool:
