I like Figo, now I can actually be happy when he does well. With Madrid I wished the best for him and Gravesen and hoped everyone else would fail miserably to compensate.

Do you realize how ignorant you sound sometimes. We have 4 forwards. That's it. Other teams have more forwards than us.

Here let me show you so you understand.

Raul and Zidane will be our OMF.

Baptista will be in left midfield.

Robinho, Ronaldo, Owen, and Soldado will be our forwards.

He did'nt sayed anything about Man United's squad being perfect. About titles, well, I bet Figo would have won us the treble by himself...

How about we talk about Figos transfer now and not United?

ForzaNerrazurri

Well all I know is he will be putting in all his heart to play so he can be ready for the WC in 2006, so I'm expecting a fantastic year from Figo. Not to mention he has 4 former teammates playing with him

Drvar
05-08-2005, 09:02:PM
yes, better that way :). i just meant to say Figo is a world-class player, and he would still fit into any top team. lets just hope Inter actually plays like they're expected this year.

Raul and Zidane will be our OMF.

Baptista will be in left midfield.

Robinho, Ronaldo, Owen, and Soldado will be our forwards.Raul, Baptista, Robinho, Ronaldo and Owen are all forwards. The fact that you play them in midfield is because you have too many of fowards.

That you're denying that Real Madrid have too many forwards testifies to the fact that you are ******* delusional.

Nuno
05-08-2005, 09:21:PM
Raul plays better as a OMF and Baptista is a MF who played as striker in Sevilla.

Nuno
05-08-2005, 09:23:PM
According to you, we have 6 forwards. Are we the only team with 6 forwards?

WilliamFAlmeida
05-08-2005, 09:26:PM
why argue this point?
Figo rules, and is too good to play in any team that is not in CL winning contention IMO. Too bad he didnt fit in the system

Vagegast
05-08-2005, 09:37:PM
Raul plays better as a OMF and Baptista is a MF who played as striker in Sevilla.First of all, it's "Attacking Mid" or "AM" and not OMF. I wasn't even sure what you were talking about when I first read it.

As for Raul... again, he is a forward by nature. Most of his career he's played as a forward. He plays forward for the Spanish NT, etc. Just because Luxemborgo is gonna play him as attack mid doesn't mean he's not a forward.

As for Baptista, if he's a midfielder why did you and all other Madrid fans say that "Owen will probably leave now." If Baptista is a midfielder, why would that affect Owen, a forward.According to you, we have 6 forwards. Are we the only team with 6 forwards?Probably not but you're the most unbalanced soccer team on the face of this planet. The fact that you'd rather take two forwards over a half-decent centre-back who's not injured all the time testifies, once again, to your delusionality.

Drvar
05-08-2005, 09:58:PM
Baptista played as a DM for more years than hes played an attacking role. BUT, this thread is about Figo and Inter, so stick to the topic.

Another great signing by the club. I can't believe we signed Samuel, Pizarro, and Figo all in one summer. Some haters may call it another exodus, I see it as a well needed "reconstruction."

Any how, I can't wait to see these 2 link up on the field.

Who f*cking cares if Real Madrid have 3778 forwards ?

We really dont care what you think about it, i just will tell you something I LOVE SUPPORTING REAL MADRID, A TEAM THAT PLAY OFFENSIVE FOOTBALL AND KEEP SIGNING OFFENSIVE PLAYERS THAT WILL MAKE US ENJOY, A TEAM PLAYING WITH 3/4 FORWARDS.

When i see my team, i can see Zidane, Roberto Carlos, Robinho, Ronaldo, Raul ... and we all enjoy that. Go to your cave Vagegast and leave us with our team.

In fact, I welcome the criticism(s) from any news about Inter.
Inter never win the Scudetto since 1989. So, they can say anything they want. Since we won the Coppa Italia last season, it might be a different story in this coming season.

Ah... Batista isn't a forward, although he can be adapted to that position, anyway, yes they have to many forwards, when they should be more worried with the defense... Anyway, it's their problem, if they prefer a famous club rather than a good football club.

Anyway, this is going off topic...

Good signing for Inter, he can still play at high level for two more years i believe.

If Figo will get a place in the starting 11, as he likely will, I want to see if his stance towards the NT will change... Bet he'll renounce to the NT again.
Few days prior to the game versus Juve he'll have a NT match. I'm so curious to see how he'll get an excuse to skip the international fixture.

Figo doesn't owe us anything. He's tryed his best for over a decade with our NT and never won anything. After losing to to Greece it felt like he finally gave up. Whatever his reason for returning, I'm glad he did. It almost doesn't feel the same without him. He's a legend of Portuguese futebol, now and forever. He will always have my full respect.
