The MLS overtime system to go into place next season will prove to be almost as stupid as the shootout was.
Changing San Jose to the Earthquakes was a good move. They should continue this by changing the Metrostars to the Cosmos.
The MLS will start to slowly gain credibility. It will continue to grow in quality of play. I'd say it is already comparable to most Asian leagues, most South and North American leagues (perhaps not Brazil, Mexico and Argentina, though I think that could be argued too.) , and at least European second divisions.
