A number of people have made comments about Americans not understanding that "Soccer is life" and that the USA will never be any good at it because soccer will always be a sport here and not "life."
I have then seen some of these same people comment that US soccer sucks because there is no singing, confetti, smoke bombs, etc. (though I could argue that...Did any of you watch the DC/Columbus semi-final series?)

These things are not soccer. A true lover of the game will support it in ANY form. -Even if it is a bunch of kids playing in the street. Loving the sport has nothing to do with smoke bombs.

Brittish Football is a life. Playing in the streets eh, in the US does it happen? Because that is the backbone to Brittish Footy.
PS: No smoke bombs in britan, that`s over the Channel. Oh we do have real bombs in ireland, though they rarley come to matches.

football is not life but is part of life. u must be sad if u can't live without football. haven't u got anything else to inspire u. football is not everything. worshipping God is everything unless u don't fear the afterlife. football is a device to drive people away from God. i am not saying i don't like football. i love it but it isn't my life. God won't ask u which is the best footballer of your lifetime. we were only created to worship God. this is my opinion so don't be offended. i watch football when i can but i also worship God. i don't benefit in watching football but when i worship God i feel much better. some people think TV is life and i admit i used to be like that but after a while i got bored. now i only watch useful knowledge-gaing programmes + football. final point: nothing wrong with watching football as long as it does not rule your life. its only a game made by humans for God's sake. we were not born to be entertained!!!

haha, i'm sure you'll appreciate, arnau, that there's a ton of white boys here stateside who refuse to call it "soccer" OR "football." It has to be spelled "fútbol." Keep in mind these kids don't speak any spanish.
