Well I'm stumped. I've managed some crap teams (sucessfully) but have found myself at a complete loss in my current season at Duisberg. Here's the situation....

I'm in my second season. In my first I got promoted to the top flight but now I'm getting hammered every fookin' week.

PLAYERS.

The club has no money but I can probably raise about a million pounds by selling players. I mainly need midfielders (attacking, defensive, the lot) and centre backs. I would like (if possible) to purchase more than one player with the money. I also can't afford to pay players very much money so whoever comes must work on the cheap.

TACTICS.

I have a couple of tactics that have worked really well in the past even for poorer teams but none of them seem to work. If anybody has a tactic that they believe will get results even for teams that are outmatched playerwise every week then I'd be very grateful as nothing I try seems to work.

I've never quit a game because It was too tough but I'm getting close to breaking point on this one.

I had a tough break like this with Wolves in my first game, I promoted to the EPL and had a decent start, but then went 5 months winless and relegation territory. But I experimented more sh1t and I guess with some lucky we were able to finish 17th. :p
