I've installed the demo, and in data/zdata_01.big I found the kits.
They are 512x512 pixels, 24 bit BMP.

love the size of front and back ... the rest is crap

the kits looks crap because they use black and gray lines etc on the kits(like manU home) looks very ugly ingame...

i remade a template for 06 wich i made to 2005 before...

Guys, what do you think...Is 2GK will be possible in FIFA06??? And should i just make kits in 2GK formay? :)

i dont think we need 2gk,it would just be harder for us...the template would be hudge;) so i guess 1gk is ok :)

2gk would be 1024*1024 and in F2005 it was 1024*512 right? So not so much bigger? Else 1GK in 06 would be worse than 2GK in F2005?

2GK will be great but I think everybody need to be patient. :)

I am just qurious is Kitraptor 2GK for FIFA06 will be made or some prorgamm of this kind. I dont worry about the size of the kits :)

Yep, Alex. New template is 1.5 times bigger than fifa05 one. But it is also 1.5 times smaller then 2GK from FIFA05. Anyways 2GK kits for fifa05 did not look that great, and badges for example looked bad, etc. So 2GK for this template will be perfect :rockman:
Maybe for some big patches it will take alot of space, but thats not my point, i just want 2gk kitraptor for fifa06 :lui:

I think 2GK would be a disastrous move. If the kits look good already, dont fix it. To squeeze that little bit more quality out of the graphics is going to cause you more problems in stability. i.e. more crashes etc, especially when you import faces. Remember there is a finite amount of texture space that your graphics card and FIFA can handle.

Hercules, thanks for info, i did not know that. The whole piont that I want to make a new kit template from scratch.... But 1GK, will not show all the quality because its even smaller size then fifa05's 2GK :rolleyes:

totaly agree, and its much harder for us kitmakers to do them 2gk,do 1gk will be good....

I have a question. I have made a kit for FIFA06 but i can't put it back in the fsh. I did it with the fsh tool but it tells me Conversion is unsuccessfull.
Can anyone help me?

I think this format is more than enough. I personally don`t think we need 2GK. The size is big enough. Anyway, does anyone got something like a mapping on the template like the left-right sleeves, etc ? Thanks.

And one more thing, I really love the way they made the front and back in the same size, this way, we won`t have any trouble makin` those vertical and horizontal stripes that aligned between the front and the back for some kits.

yes but the massive difference in size btw the front\back and sleeves makes it look crap when the stripes join there (like the PSG away for eg)
