Got the first thread in the new forum :) Hope to make a lot of good kits for this game just need to get used to learning and using new techniques.

Here is my first kit, I made it while creating my Nijmegen kit for FIFA 2005...

It appears EA has its own screen layer too, I think that is what the big yellow patch is :(

Hi Paul, I just converted your FIFA 2005 AC Milan kit in the 2006 format. It looks great obviously, but could you make the adjustment on the opel logo I suggested you in the email? If you have time you could make yourself the 2006 version of Milan's kits, cause in this way you could also be more accurate on the back of the kits, which have the "Ac Milan" writing on the neck. Cutting and pasting and resizing in fact produces a loss in resolution and the writing is a bit blurry on my version...

Tell me if you need your kits already converted to speed up your work. :ewan:

All that work you had...well, at least it didn't change much indeed.

we know about the screen layer thing,just make that 7 files black, and i think it will be better...

To import kits I used 4 different tools, here is a short explanation of how I do it.

You need the following programs... FSHed, BigGui, FatGui and GenBH
1. Extract a kit from BigGui from Z_Data01.
2. Import your kit with FSHed. (CTRL+I)
3. Import the kit back to Z_Data01 with BigGui and then compress the imported file
4. Run fatgui in the fifa06 /data folder (should say about unsuccesful something, just click through them.)
5. Run genBH in the fifa06 /data folder.
6. The kit should then be imported :)

It sounds like you haven't compressed the file in BigGui.

If not it could be a problem with the .BMP and not being saved properly.

Open the .FSH you extracted.

I am sorry, I have never encountered an error like that nor has anybody that I have talked to on MSN. It sounds like it could be problem with your computer or not having the proper files to use it. Sorry but I can't think of anything else that it could be.

Well I have only posted one kit for FIFA06 so far and that is my second post in this thread. If you can't see that then their is probably some firewall which you have which won't allow you to see pictures from www.imageshack.us, I don't think that it could be a browser problem.

It sounds like you haven't compressed the .FSH file when you imported it back into the z_data01 file. If you have though all I can suggest is try following the instructions again. Sorry :(

Hey, everyone, I tried to import kit into the game just like Curswine wrote, but i got this problem. When i try to import .bmp file into the kit using FSHed, I get this error. Can someone please tell me whats wrong, and what i should fix...

The .BMP hasn't been saved properly, copy and paste the kit into Paint and svae it as .BMP there. It should work fine now.

I've never used FIFAFS so I don't know what it's capabilities are sorry.

Milan Goalkeeper is what I am making now, but I just have to make new short sleeves for it.

I think that layer is only used in the night matches. the matches in the demo take place at night. In Fifa 2005, we had the same thing, except here EA played the shineness down a whole lot. in 2005 when you played a night game it was incredibly shiny, but turned to normal during the day games

That could possibly be the problem, but it doesn't happen in my game.

You can import 1GK kits with a 2GK Kit Raptor :) Not the same quality as .PNG kits though.

As for Treviso gk you're right, I found photos with gk wearing third kit.
During my search on Chievo I found the third kit, which is the same as last year's.
For Chievo gk I saw the match on tv but I wasn't able to find any pic (very strange :nape: ). By the way I can tell for sure it was last year's gk kit (the grey one), with grey shirt, black shorts and grey socks and the "Cattolica" sponsor on front. I found many pics of a kit which is supposed to be the home gk kit for this season. I'm posting you some photos, but I think it's a very difficult one. It uses the same design as Udinese gk if I remember well.

You should make your kits on 2GK on the game it's very good, on 1GK the sleeves are very fuzzy ...
On 2GK see your Barcelone kit (2005 kits converty by me for FIFA 06) :

ciao, on the treviso keeper/third...the sponsor segafredo is white (in the game against inter it was white)....when they presented the shirts it was black (when pinga was wearing it)..So maybe the third shirt has black sponsor and keeper white sponsor...dunno!

If anyone knows a way to add 2GK kits to the demo without using KitRaptor could you please contact me. I can't import a new kit into a 2GK .fsh using FSHed. :(

Lovely kits hommie. You said that you converted these kits from FIFA 2005 format to 2006 format, would the lines aligned perfectly ? Cos` if it is, then it would be great for some kitmakers to make their 2006 kits easier.

I don't really care about the star rating but at least give a reason why you have given a low rating that way I can change and make my kits better. It appears that it is also the same for other peoples kit threads so maybe someone is just doing it because they find it fun. :rolleyes:

Hey Curs, It's been awhile since i don't ask kitmakers for some kit, but I'd like to request something, It's Hertha Berlin home kit (yea, the home kit only, coz I managed to resize 05 kits to 06, but the home kit doesn't look good.)

I don't think it's the case to be so catastrophistic every year... :eek:
This template is not the worst ever, come on! (Y) Only blurry sleeves are the weak point. For the rest it is the biggest ever used, so it can give more quality to kits, especially front and back. In any case if you want a kit in 2005 format, you easily convert it from a 2006 one, just cut and past and resize (you won't lose much details because 2006 template is bigger than 2005)! The same for the opposite conversion (with a little loss in quality).

I think the format is pretty bad in my opinion, I really don't think the back needs to be as big as it is and is it really necessary for captains sleeves? Why couldn't they just make a seperate part for the captains armband then make the game put the armband around the sleeves which would free up a bit more space on the template.

Anyway enough of my ranting... could someone maybe post a couple of screenshots of this with the font I have attached on it too, I just want to see how it looks. Thanks to anyone who does it for me.

I'd wanted the old one and he wanted the new ones, and you said you'd consider the new ones if they ever got used... well, here they are! We wore them yesterday in defeating Guatemala (who is still in contention for the WC while we are not :mad: ) 2-1 in a friendly game. We used a local-based team and gave it to them good, by the way... :D

I don't like the template you use on the werder kits.. it calls for some serious ironing!

If you stop making kits (pleaaase don't :boohoo: ) it would be fantastic if you would make some of your best fifa05 kits in the fifa06 format... just for snobs like me who just can't play with EA's default kits..

I'm not too keen on it either, but I think it sort of suits the Kappa style better than the ones which look like they're totally stuck to the skin because Kappa seem to have loosened it up a bit since the days of the Italy 2000 shirt.
