Steps:

1. Right click on the FIFA 06 demo shortcut.

2. Select Properties

3. In the target, it will state where the game is installed. If installed in the default directory, this will read:
"C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\FIFA 06 Demo\fifa06 demo.exe"

4. Add the following line after the installation path with one of the supported resolutions: RESOLUTION=1024x768x32

5. The whole line will look like this "C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\FIFA 06 Demo\fifa06 demo.exe" RESOLUTION=1024x768x32

6. The supported resolutions are: 640x480x32, 800x600x32, 1024x768x32, 1280x1024x32, 1600x1200x32

7. The ideal one to try out is 1024x768x32.

IMPORTANT: Use this at your own risk. Not all of these resolutions will work with all graphics cards. If your monitor is not set to at least the resolution you are trying to use in game it will not work.

Do widescreen res works? For example 1280x800 ?

Not sure if it works, but i added a space between the file path and the reolution command, haven't checked if it works yet, but at least windows does not say it isn't valid :)

Adding WINDOWED on the end also, not surprisingly, allows you to play in a window.

Because you probably (for example) did this:

EA SPORTS\FIFA 06 Demo\fifa06 demo.exe"RESOLUTION=1024x768x32

Instead of this:

EA SPORTS\FIFA 06 Demo\fifa06 demo.exe" RESOLUTION=1024x768x32

So you got to have a space between '' and RESOLUTION ;)

doesn't work i just keep getting a error box appearing saying fifa demo.exe has caused a problem etc
