Tomorrow is the big game in Buenos Aires. What are the bets? Argentina is local sold out stadium..Brasil needs to win to show face and boost morale. Argentina has already qualified..will they be too "relaxed"? Will the sleeping giant (Brasil) finally wake up in time for the World Cup? Will Veron's, Sorin's, Riquelme's and Batistuta's absence be missed in Argentina team? We shall find out tomorrow..all I know is that I predict that either team can win I am undecided, but it will be a very good game indeed. :D

Argentina wins; they are top of the table from the beginning and they have a good balance in their team. Brasil starts to win but are still not on the required level to beat their arch-enemy.

Well the obvious happened. Argentina 2 Brasil 1. It was an emotional game but not good technically. With Veron (some say the best player in the world) and Batistuta it could have been a masacre. Brasil played very cowardly when they were 1 up they should have kept attacking and maybe things would have changed. They underestimated the Argentine spirit of coming back and hunger for winning. Argentine never let up untill they were up 2-1. I think Argentina plays better when they are pissed off.. I still don't know if Brasil will make it to World Cup but if they play like chickens it's better off they don't go and look sad.

What I most like about this Argentine side are there changes. I mean how many teams in the world can be spoiled with Batitsuta or Crespo? Veron or Aimar or RIquelme or Gallardo or Ortega? SImeone or Matias Almeyda or even maybe Redondo? In defense Samuel and Ayala one of the best defense teams in the world.. Vivas also. Plus they have so many players to pick from the sub 20.
So many variables. I forgot about Gallardo and he came in the game yesterday and scored the goal for the tie. I really think Argentina will make the Semi finals of the World Cup. Maybe even the final we'll see.
